Great week last week. Out hiking each day (except Sunday). Saturday was big hike day. Hike with us they said. Twenty miles. It'll be fun they said. It was. But my newer/different boots (well broken in) are simply not good for 20 miles. Back to my Solomans for big distance.

Twenty miles that is a long trek. Where the views good. I am impressed at that distance how long did it take.

Vacation, birthday cake (and wine) and Thanksgiving were not my friends this last couple of weeks, however I am quite surprised and happy to find a small loss. Not sure if it is just some water loss but I will take it. Thanks for the motivation and accountability everyone.

    :
I still have birthday cake left... I made a big square cake that I brought to work. Then there was leftovers that I brought home. Now it sits on the kitchen counter taunting me. So the kids will get a slize if they want today and then I am binning it. It's getting dry. Not so dry I didn't eat it yesterday.

After a trip to Atlanta, I’m not surprised by my slip up. However, I’ve always stated that this is bigger than some crash diet, it’s a lifestyle! So with that said, I’m back on the grind. 🙏🏽

It’s been a hard week of being down with flu and cold symptoms. Hoping to make the next 8 days count and get as close to the monthly goal as possible as I doubt I will hit that now but any loss is a loss!

Hi. My weight loss stalled for the last two weeks, but it’s no mystery as to why really. I was feeling deprived and I felt like if I didn’t give myself a little wiggle room, I might abandon ship and go back to my old habits. Yes, it so easy to go back to those awful old habits. So, I had pizza one day and a cupcake a few days later. I also went out to eat the week prior. I haven’t done that in months. That, coupled with shorter daylight hours, resulting in less time to exercise outdoors didn’t help. Anyway, it doesn’t matter. I knew what I was doing. I’m back on now. I just felt like I had to live a little. May you all have a good week.

Great job at least recognizing where you went off track. I find I need to work those "treats" and such in. I have 3 kids at home and while me and my partner cook most nights, we occasionally have pizza or burgers. I just try and plan for that, or I will partake but only grab one slice and then eat some roasted veggies/salad to fill up the rest of the way. I definitely have had the same issue over the years of just giving up because I cut out all the food I loved. Portion control and adding in some better choices has really helped me stick to it this time around.

I have been struggling 🙁. Sometimes I feel so lonely eating healthy.

I have issues with it sometimes too. Add some friends here for encouragement, and maybe work into your plan some of the foods you want, but abstain from. I find I do a lot better if I'm not abstaining from eating the foods I love because of a diet. I try to just eat smaller portions of those foods and if I'm still hungry supplement it with salads/veggies.

The views were not of Mtns or peaks. But lots of beautiful, changing forests and ponds. There was a group of 22 of us, so that tends to slow things down a little. It took about 8hrs 45min total time, with lots of time for breaks, lunch, a little misdirection and such. But we were back to the trailhead just as the rain started and just as the sun was giving it's last effort. Pretty fine day.

10/16-184.6-(Trend Weight: 186.4)- A successful day yesterday which showed up on the scale this morning. TMI good, shed lots of water and bloat and raked yard for 3+ hours burning lots of extra calories. Diet was on point. I am planning another good day with more raking and yard work to complete the fall cleanup hopefully. This should continue to work the scale back down.

10/23-184.4-(Trend Weight: 186.1)- It’s been a tough week. My cravings have gotten the better of me most nights. After going up on the scale, I have managed to rein it back in to show a tiny loss this week. It’s not going to get any easier as we approach all the foodie holiday seasons that are coming up lickity split. No one said this would be easy.
