                    ๐ Welcome all new first timers to this challenge and "Hello again" to those returning for another month, another year, another round. ๐
I joined back in September of 2021, which was my first month back on MFP. In the first 9 months, I lost 40 pounds and use this challenge as motivation to stay on track. It is nice to have a medium-term goal that gets broken down into manageable chunks.
Pick your own goal, check in once per week, and at the very end of the month. Let's keep encouraging each other & staying focused on our individual goals.
You can change the dates to suit you, but try to keep it weekly as it shows off the weekly progress better๐

 * above all, "plate diet" (as we've always done, in fact; only memo: remember adding a lot of vegetables when the dinner consists of pastasciutta or pizza)
 * drink drink drink (water, obv. ๐ )
 * be consistent with movement (walking every day at least 10k; cyclette and/or Leslie Sansone or similar 5 days a week; 10-15 minutes of walking with little weights in hands - 1 kg)
 * be consistent with the sweet things (I mean: *only* two things a day, that is: one croissant - or muffin or slice of cake if I bake them - for breakfast and one digestive biscuit in the afternoons /or/ evenings, and stop!)

 This is my first time ina a community as I have been attempting weight loss from past 14years and I keep falling off the wagon and gaining back more than before.
 I used to exercise a lot, but gradually have damaged my back and knee, so no more exercising or much of a physical activity for tht matter.
 Trying to make a difference this time staying determined๐

            In October I lost more than expected/hoped... it's still in healthy range (1.2 kg in a month), so okay, but as a consequence November will be more maintain/lose very little, or I know it won't last*
 * ten years ago I lost more than 7 kgs in a whole year and I never regained (from 71 kg to 63.6).
 * On the contrary, three years ago I've lost another 7 kgs but in only 5 months (from 63.6 to 56.6), and I've re-gained them in the next 5 months, and there they had been, for years, until the last March.
 So, I know that the only way that works is going slowly, and this last kilo has vanished too fast...
 So:

 Leslie Sansone's walk videos are my go to before bed and the indoor walking track. I still track every bite, and that helps me tremendously. My husband took up bowling, so I finally joined him in October.

            Good luck everyone! I didnโt have a single candy yesterday. Thankfully my children are โtoo coolโ to trick or treat so nothing to steal too. Next holiday is us Thanksgiving. Iโm hoping to stay the course except for Thanksgiving day and the day after of course and make better choices in the actual day of.
