Ah! I didn't notice that. It's 2371 St. Andrews Drive -- the most reasonably priced listings, in my opinion. We are hopeful that since it is affordable, for the area, it might sell more quickly.

This group was a lifesaver when my husband was sick, I has having to drive the freeway from the Oregon coast to Portland for various treatments. Vent when you need to. I also found a caregivers support group put on by the senior center and every couple of weeks was able to be there for an hour. It was an hour of not being a caregiver, and a place to put my feelings. That helped a lot. We are but a click away from you. You could add me on Facebook if you wish. I can sing ya Christmas carols on video chat.😁💖

No real plans for today... tomorrow, they're delivering the windows for the sunroom and Corey will be working on getting those put in. Hopefully, I can help him a bit with those. The guy should also be here tomorrow to give him a bid for shingling the roof. It was supposed to rain last night, but should be dry this week until Thursday. This is NOT a big job for experienced men, seriously only a few hours with a couple guys up there, so I'm really hoping this can be done this week. We'll see.

Yesterday, he was apologizing to me because he went in and cooked breakfast and got my newly cleaned kitchen a little dirty. I had to try to help him understand that it really doesn't annoy me when I clean the stovetop and then he goes in and cooks bacon or sausage and gets it schmutzy again. It's like laundry. It's just never done. You're not going to go around ripping clothes off people to get them clean, or taking the sheets off the bed while they're in it. Laundry is never, ever done. Neither is any other kind of cleaning, not really. Getting cranky about someone getting things dirty again is just silly. Cleaning is my part of our partnership these days. He goes and works hard, and I spend a small amount of my time cleaning, and the rest of the time I do whatever else I want to, which is a huge gift! Cleaning is a very small price to pay to be able to have that kind of freedom. Plus, he's the kind of person who cleans up after himself anyway. Not the stovetop, admittedly, but he gets dinner dishes in the dishwasher nearly every night. And that's after he cooks dinner. Who doesn't love that?

Ah, Egg has extricated herself from the space between me and the laptop table and is lying on my mousepad instead. And purring. Time for a book and more coffee.

Tracey, thank you for mentioning Michaels. I purchased a couple of figurines from them at a good sale price so happy with that. I'm trying to keep my theme as Victorian for my display. They did have some amazing buildings on half price which would have kept with my theme but decided to just add on smaller items this year as I had already purchased enough for one year. I could see myself getting carried away with this project so glad Michaels isn't close by.

Annie, so sorry to hear what you are going through. Good that you have family support and hopefully will be able to get a definite diagnosis in the coming days.

Had an annoying morning. Yesterday our tv satellite went out on one of our tv's....the one in the living room which is used the most. Tried to get it back by resetting everything but nothing worked so this morning got in touch through my account online with a Bell tech. Was on there about 1/2 hour and tech finally said our account on that one receiver was cancelled. He was telling me that I had cancelled it last month. Told him according to my billing, I was still paying for 2 receivers. I don't think he knew how to fix it so just made up a little story to get me off the chat line. Told him I would call Bell directly and see if they could help me which I did. Apparently the card in that receiver isn't working so they will send one out to me in the mail. Person I was talking to on the phone was very helpful and went through a series of steps to try and solve the problem....unlike the online tech. I did report the online tech as I think he could have been more helpful.

Rebecca, my funny friend... I will admit a possibly unfortunate tendency to make up a word when I can't think of one that fits. "Bohonking," is much like "badonkadonk," but quite a bit... well, flabbier.

Flea - Thanks for the second link, it's an absolutely beautiful home... and if it was near me, I'd be really interested. Just not willing to be in back in the PNW--my arthritis hurt so much ten years ago that I could barely make it through the winters. There was no pain relief that worked up there for me. Best luck for a bidding war and a quick sale - interest rates are dropping once more, so fingers crossed. It was good to see your post. The Christmas holidays will be here before you know it...

Yes. I will invest my share. My husband is still unemployed. One year now. I think I cursed his employment, because about a month before he was fired, I told him I was ready to retire, and that I would use my mom's annuities and help him be successful in his job and just be a wife and mom. A few weeks later, he was laid off. So, no. I won't be able to retire yet. I have set 2.5 years as the limit, one way or another. I will be 65.5 and will get full social security plus be able to access my own retirement funds. I have a very large (for me, anyone) annuity from my mom that has to be paid out by 10 years. I am not planning to take that until I've retired, and that will be quite a large yearly amount. Hubby also has investments and retirement funds, but he doesn't want to use those now because he's planning to live much longer than I will, and he says, "I need something to live on after you're gone."

I'm in a rotten mood today, and should just go hide in a hole and be quiet until I can be nice again.

MIL is just a mean, self centered old lady. She has always been this way.
It is worse now because dh is over there twice a day every day, so more time for them to get into fights.
She is very demanding and he thinks if he gives in to her and just lets her yell it won't be as bad the next day. That never happens. Other times it is the fact that they both yell and cuss back and forth. He gets frustrated because he tries to talk and she doesn't listen.
it really isn't a love hate relationship- it truly is a hate/hate one. He goes over out of obligation and to play the marter. She feels she deserves all of his time and is upset if he does anything for himself because it takes away some of the time she thinks should be spent with her.
When it suits her, she understand and responds right, but if it doesn't, she doesn't listen/understand/just ignores him.
It is really sad because I see some of the same traits in him. Not so much the mean part, but the self centered part of it. He doesn't see it in himself.
Would love to put her in a home but at over $8000 a month or more, that is hard to swallow.
We have tried hiring help- the second day the lady was shaking and couldn't get out of the house fast enough. Had hired her for a trial basis of one week.
Would really love to find someone that could work with her. She doesn't need the help. She WANTS a servant there to do stuff for her while she sits and complains about how they are doing it.
She does have what the doctor has said is a disconnect in her brain. It is hard sometimes for people who English is not their first language to understand some things.
The mean nasty part of her is not a part of that.
Today, she referred to me as "what's her name"- we have been married over 31 yrs. Usually I am just referred to as "her"(and not in a good /nice way)

Thanksgiving at my sisters went ok. Mom wasn’t there which I didn’t mind that either. I usually end up washing dishes so it doesn’t pile up. Addison was there and was the first time I saw her since she was at our house. She avoided us which was fine too. We took yogi and left the other two at home. I didn’t take any pictures

I love it! That's more than I'm going to do. Hubby does a huge house light show. He's been working on it for a couple weeks. Once he has it up, we'll take video and post it on youtube. I'll see if I can find the link for last year's lights. They really are amazing.

The show went pretty well. It was our first time selling the 3D printed stuff and sold quite a bit. Ran out of some of the items.Everyone loved the filament we used. They thought the items were metal. They really loved our prices. We had dragons we were selling for $12 and another booth was selling ones similar for $42! DH had to go and see for himself after the forth person told us the same thing.
He also had people asking for our contact info for doing special orders. One to add to high fashion masks he designs for fashion shows. He showed us pictures and they are VERY unique. He is looking for someone to make small embellishments to attach to the masks and head pieces.
We didn sell many of the toys. I think just 4(two to one of the other vendors but he was beyond thrilled to get them). The first one was a SeaQuest model. He saw it as soon as he walked up and had his cc out before even looking at the price. Was shocked at how low the price was-he has been searching for years for one and they are just not available. (dh has 2 more here at home). Another guy had came by, interested, before the show started and said he would come back to get it, was waiting to sell some of his stuff then come back. He ended up being too late and actually saw it at the new owner's booth. Very disappointed. It was a huge show. 3 floors of vendors and artists/actors doing autographs- I stayed at my booth except for bathroom breaks and to grab dinner Friday night.
We most likely won't do the show again. The overhead is just too high for the size of booth we had(we split it with a friend of dh's. Had to make $500 just to cover the costs.

Dh's friend, the artist that shared a booth with us/split the cost of it made $7!, he only sold one print. He kept leaving the booth to walk around with his girlfriend. They were gone a lot more than they were in the booth. Dh answered questions but our priority this time was our stuff. Usually dh goes and helps(and Paul takes off walking around) and doesn't take much, maybe some of the props he has made. Paul gets upset that he doesn't sell anything but doesn't stay in the booth much plus his stuff isn't that great.
The lady's booth next to us was amazing- going to check out her Instagram page. Loved her stuff but it was large prints and I don't have room for one right now.

His mom went off on him this morning, he knew she would. Talking crazy- saying she wants to sell the house and go back home(Okinawa)- seeing dead people. Same stuff as usual. No one left in Okinawa and just a niece in Osaka and she won't take care of her. First, she is care taker for her brother and 2nd) when she came here to visit and stayed at MIL's house, mil accused her niece of stealing her jewelry. Otseko won't take care of her. He told her to NOT go out and move the garbage can after they picked it up. We had a friend go do it. She told dh that she went out at 8pm last night to go put it in. Walking around in the dark. He told her we had someone take it in, she thinks the neighbor boy did so told dh to go give him money- told her, wasn't that kid. She wouldn't listen.

Tomorrow is dh's birthday- turning 60. He has to work at midnight tonight then go to his mom's when he is done- complaining about that. I had to work on my birthday too. Not a big deal. I told him we will go out for lunch-he said he will just pick up Chinese food like he has been doing the past few years(again, feeling sorry for himself).

We will go up Tuesday to get Christmas tree/decorations out of storage. Hope to get at least part of the stuff up or at least, the living room rearranged so son and his girlfriend can get the tree up while I am at mom's this coming weekend.
