This is a challenge is for anyone who wants motivation, support, friendship and tips. We are a nonjudgemental, supportive group who aim to set goals that suits you. If 15 pounds weight loss is not for you, choose a different goal. All are welcome!

Hi y'all!
I'm Rhiannon! I'm a 38yo stay at home mama to my five kids who range from 9y to 5mo! Trying to lose the last of the baby weight before my wedding in October! I would LOVE to lose the last 15lbs by April!

Hi! I'm Chris - 73 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.

Hi, I'm amigababy, I'm in the UK, and returning to MFP after a very long break
(we were on a break!! 😁😁Ross Geller)
I want to lose about 30 pounds, but the first 15 in the next 3 months is ideal for me. I travel in Europe a lot which makes it tricky, but I'll be home till early April so lots of time to build good habits. I'm vegetarian, not a very good cook, and looking to do a sort of 5:2 version. With 800 calories a day on weekdays, and unlimited (but not crazy) on weekends, to allow for snacks, meals out etc.
Oh, and I'm nearly 60 😊 and I'm about to start belly dancing classes.

02/01-183.4-(Trend Weight: 183.0)- WTH? I did NOT expect this. Could it be the travel & restaurant from two days ago? Could it be the birthday celebration complete with cake/ice cream catching up? Could it be day 2 of no TMI? Could it be the worst sleep last night that I’ve had in years? Maybe it’s all one big ball of wax (or fat) all rolled up into one. In any case, I feel cheated when I probably shouldn’t. Looks like I’ll be spending much of this month chasing my own tail.

I've had all my toes on my left foot amputated due to a bone infection. I have been doing wall pilates and chair yoga and find it to be awesome giving me new hope, a new life.

I will be making my annual visit to Florida in a couple weeks and taking my 2 grandsons with me this time. It'll be fun but from past experience I know that I'll probably gain a couple pounds, which will then take me at least a couple weeks to lose. Hence I've set my goal for this round pretty low. Hopefully I'll be able to achieve it since my rate of lose has been slower than a snail's pace ever since I dropped below 160 lbs last spring.

Hi everyone,
My name is Carole. I live in Boston, MA and I live alone in a 2-bedroom apartment where I have been for over 40 years. I'm divorced with one married son, age 40 (no grandkids). My 18 year old cat passed away just this past July. I really miss her and I'm hoping to get another cat this Spring. I am 65 years old and my height is 5'3". (I still work full time.) I am now within 15 lbs. of my goal; so I would love to join! (Thanks for starting this group, @RubyRed427!)
My weigh-in days are on Sundays; so I will count Sunday, January 28th as my starting weight for this challenge.
Starting Weight: 152.6 on JAN 28
FEB04: 148.4 (WK: -4.2/TL: -4.2)
In an effort to remain accountable, I will also post my scale app's stats following each weigh-in. For this first post, I will show starting stats and stats for this week. I will then post weekly stats beginning next Sunday, February 11th. Once I reach goal, I will post before and after stats to show progress from the first weigh-in.
The biggest change for me is 100% abstention from all alcoholic beverages. I have slacked off in the activity department but will pick that up again beginning this week.

Hi, I got weighed this morning, first weigh in after a holiday
5/2/24 = 168.8 lbs
Which is about what I've been for the past year. So this is where I start, to lose 15 pounds from here would make such a difference to me. Particularly the amount of clothes I have that don't quite fit anymore, I can't bring myself to throw them away, I could look so much more "fashionable" if I could wear them.
