Black bean soup. I made a batch that was spicier than usual. I had some cilantro, so I soaked beans last night. Added onion, garlic, carrot, celery and secret spices this morning and put on the pressure cooker for six minutes. I didn't puree it this time so it has whole beans and it's already really good. It will be better by the end of the day and then tomorrow. Soup for breakfast rocks.

A strawberry Glucerna, and a 3” chunk of brown sugar glazed ham that I stole out of the frying pan while my partner was making breakfast. It was hot and sugary and had a rind of fat that was glorious.

    Oh. And an orange. 🍊

Nothing. I was going to have a Salmon fillet. Instead, I'm fasting until my son's cookout. Some days I have two boiled eggs. He's having hamburgers and hotdogs. Since I'm low carb I won't have any buns. I'll use lettuce as a wrap.

    Loved this question.

Normally, I just grab a small pack of yogurt and call it good. Every few months, though, we prepare a cinnamon coffee cake for dessert after dinner, which is good, but it is at its best when I get to indulge in a slice of leftovers as breakfast the next day!

Love the idea of soup for breakfast. Lately I’ve been having a meal replacement shake. Soup sounds so much better

I call it egg fried mince beef. I fried up 500g of mince beef then threw 4 eggs in the mix as I found eggs seem to soak up the fat quite well.

I ate around half and dog had the other.
