So ready! I got my DVD last night. I was going to start it last night but decided to watch it all the way through the first time. By the end I was exhausted just watching. lol0 -
Well y'all I posted my pictures on photobucket and I was all good about posting because I know in the end my body and mind will be at a better place for my long life. There is nothing to dread about posting before pieces they are a symbol of you journey through life.

The 30ds is Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. You do 10 days of each level and cuss at her through the process. lol

I bought the DVD last week and have done it twice so far but never the whole 20 mins. I had to stop because of shoulder problems but am up for starting the October challenge. Count me in!!!0

just to throw this out there. everyone always tells me I don't need to lose weight, but I have PCOS and one of the biggest symptoms is obesity, and 80% of those diagnosed get diabetes. I want to shed a few pounds and keep on top of my body so that I don't fall into either of those categories!!0

I'm actually quite excited to be starting the shred now!! Roll on saturday evening!! (I'm waiting until the evening because I'm working during the day and don't want to be aching at work!)

just to throw this out there. everyone always tells me I don't need to lose weight, but I have PCOS and one of the biggest symptoms is obesity, and 80% of those diagnosed get diabetes. I want to shed a few pounds and keep on top of my body so that I don't fall into either of those categories!!
i have a few friends with PCOS who are quite obsese and struggle so much - my hat is off to you by wanting to take preventative steps & avoid the heartbreak and stress that comes with a lot of extra weight. Sounds like you are doing what's best for you, your body, and your health. Sometimes we just have to block out other voices :flowerforyou:0 -

I too have PCOS, and 80 Lbs to lose (now that I am down 20 Lbs).... besides turning 42 in December, our bodies (women with PCOS) a have a harder time losing weight, as we have insulin resistance. I have felt my entire life that this was kind of an excuse to not put so much effort into losing weight, because it would really frustrate me that I would struggle so much harder than my friends, and lose a lot less. It gets to a point where you just give up.
But not this time. This time I am determined !
And so grateful to have found my new MFP "family". The majority of my friends here have been amazing so far. Thank you to every single one of you !0
