@Betty
Can you please give us the contact information for the MFP CEO Mike Fisher and the Chief Product officer of MFP Tim Holley
EMAIL addresses would be great!!!
All the Francisco Partners CEO's have their email addresses listed on their website but not MFP 🤷♀️4 -
Hey All...please go rate the mfp app...give it a 1 and comment. If enough people do it they will see how unhappy we are
Keep speaking up7 -

I visited the Play Store again today. It still lists the app as 4.2 stars overall, but if you look at the reviews from the last couple of months, they are atrocious. I think the 2 million old reviews have created quite a buffer for the overall rating, but h-o-l-y-c-o-w. People are ticked about all the features being taken away from the free version (bar code scanning, calorie goal adjustment), and I even saw a couple mentions about the newsfeed! It may not look like it yet on the outside, but we are making an impact!
I agree - Keep speaking up!9 -
I just checked iPhone App Store… users have been leaving 1 star reviews and citing the loss of the newsfeed!4

What the hell MFP??!! I've been on MFP for 10 years!!! The newsreel is a way to stay connected and motivated. Way to ruin something positive. 🤨10

@Betty I’m getting reports from friends (via groups) that their feed is now gone and they can no longer access their friends list to send private messages.
We were assured the friends list would remain for this purpose. What’s the deal? Should we be writing down names of friends?
Heads up for yall who want to stay in touch with friends, in case this is not resolved.8 -

Hi @springlering62, Yes the feed will likely start going away for folks. However the Friend's list should not be impacted. If anyone is having issues accessing their friends list please contact support by clicking on this link: https://myfitnesspal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new or send an email to support@myfitnesspal.com with your device information, and exact problem and our support team will investigate.2 -

I was just checking on the iPhone App Store out of curiosity and pretty much the only recent reviews there now are 5 stars and not one mentions the newsfeed, only the barcode scanner moving to Premium.
Interesting.5 -

That is crazy!!1 -
Even though it's not what we want to hear, I really appreciate @Betty connecting with us directly. Thanks for at least hearing our concerns.

Interesting.
So interesting.. I went back and scrolled through after I read your post @COGypsy and on Tuesday.. many people edited former 9 month- 1year old reviews.. so they look like recent.
Notice the dates of the developer responses from last June, July, September and beyond when the reviews originated. There are dozens of these.
What a coincidence that Tuesday is when people started posting on the forum to leave critical feedback for MFP on app stores.

I kind of wish I didn't know how brilliant MFP used to be.
I guess everything dies. RIP MFP. Without the newsfeed I see no point in your existence - other apps exist that are way less buggy.
At least you could have fixed the bugs and broken bits rather than taking away an integral feature that actually worked.10 -
If they take the newsfeed away, I'm deleting my account.8

So many of my friends have already left and are now at IG which doesn't thrill me to be honest. A few mentioned Lose It so that's where I'm going for now. Manipulating the reviews is total BS if that's what they're doing and tells us exactly everything we need to know about MFP unfortunately.
I thought about sticking around for the contact list of friends and possibly logging food and exercise but that seems pointless now. Messaging all my friends now with my phone (a select few), email and Lose It info and when the newsfeed folds I'll be gone..............if not before.5 -
I'm really sad that they haven't responded (apart from Betty), and that it's looking like a done deal.
MFP has been an important place in my life, sad to see it falling apart. 😔5
