07/02-185.4-(Trend Weight: 186.3)- Yesterday was a good day and it reflects on the scale this morning. Sometimes it doesn’t show up right away, even with the best efforts so I was grateful to see a better number. Last night the food monster named Mr. Chocolate came out in full force. This time I won. I told myself quite clearly and TRUTHFULLY that another square of my 70% dark cocao chocolate was not going to satisfy me. What it would NOT do is scratch my itch as the cravings NEVER EVER end. I mean, even when I’m over-full I just want more. After reasoning with myself, I skipped the chocolate. I don’t always win this battle but last night I did. Let’s hope for more nights like that. I want to type in pink way more often in July. My June during other MFP challenges was mainly black and blue and I'm feeling very bruised over it.

@RubyRed427 welcome back from OZ 🥂
sounds like a wonderful 2 weeks

We’ve some fun plans over the 4th weekend. We are playing trains at Train Mountain, Oregon with a group of friends from Ridgecrest, CA. They run mostly steam engines so it will be fun showing off our new electric engine. 🚂 🚂

The weather is under Excessive Heat Watch so it’s up early than by noon we will be looking for shade. Also taking my swimsuit for afternoon swims at the motel.

@DarinGettingHawtin2013 I like Monday WI but sometimes it's Wednesday
    Have a Great Week :-) 😊

I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...

My husband and I are retired, however...we watch our Grandsons during the week. Collin is 18 months and is our Morning Duty. Ronan is in 2nd Grade and is our Afternoon Duty.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out. The boys can be exhausting...

    06/4 153.4
    06/18 154.2
    06/24 157
    07/02 155.6
    07/09 155

I am 6 lbs short of my goal of 149. I am just stuck. It's been too hot to walk outside which is not helping matters. I also need to remember portion control. All my out of town company is gone now and I have 2 more BBQ's to get through in the next 2 weeks, but there is always fruit and healthy options at these things. I just need to bypass the potato salad and other fattening things that I love.

I just need to mix the exercise back in. It’s easy to be lazy on that front when you feel as out-of-breath and pudgy as I feel right now. I can actually feel every pound I put on at this point and I’m not real happy about that. I hope I can feel the improvement as I lose it back down.

    Thank you, @RubyRed427 !
I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
