July 6 197!!! been so busy with work and have had guests 2 weekends in a row and now for a week. Hoping that I will walk and be more active than I was with out other guests. Also fourth if July yummies and have been drinking soda which always makes me bloated.

Ok so hormonal issues really messed me up the last two days. So the scale shot up. Very glad I didnβt go crazy with food and booze out of misery.

Diligently matched my wine intake with water intake yesterday evening and drop today which was a surprise. Very short weights session today.

I'm committed to doing 10:14 intermitent fasting, to track my meals, and eating mindfully. This week I'll focus on listening to my body, and actually stop eating when I feel satisfied.
Ultimate goal: 73 kg
Medium term goal: Stop looking like I'm pregnant

Ugh. Travel is SOO HARD when trying to stay on a food plan.
I haven't been weighing but wanted to check in.
Yesterday was a travel day, 12 hrs in the car . I took along food and healthier snacks and drank about a gallon of water on the trip . I did ok until the afternoon when I got really hungry around 3. I ended up grabbing a meat stick and 2 cheesesticks and had a few gummy lifesavers (my road trip crutch)
Then we had to meet friends, in a bar , with nothing on the menu but a prepackaged sandwhich or pizza as dinner choices. I didn't know this ahead of time. I was starving and dreaded the options but I needed something to eat.. so I shared a sub sandwhich with the hubby and it tasted like it had enough salt in it to last me a month. I was so annoyed. I just kept sipping on water the rest of the night and had one cocktail .
I got up from the hotel room early this morning and went for a 2 mile walk and then we ended up going for breakfast for some REAL food. I ordered a cheese omelette with a side of veggies that included mushrooms, broccoli and tomatoes. Veggies never tasted so good!!
(but I suspect they had a fair bit of butter on them)
Tonight we we had one more social event. I managed to not overeat but it was long night and 3 drinks (albeit lower cocktails)
Hoping this trip doesn't cost me the lost 2 lbs I was able to attain last week...but 12 more hours in the car tomorrow to get home and god only knows what the scale is going to say..

Hi everyone this is my first day here in this thread ( member of MFP since January) and I'm needing some more reinforcement of goals.
I haven't weighed myself today but will report in tomorrow.
My starting weight in January was 100 kg and my goal weight is 76 kg.
My mini goal for this week is to keep away from sugary snacks and do more vigorous walking.
One significant motivating factor is that I'll be attending a wedding in 6 months time and I want to wear a lovely new dress. I'm visualising in my head the shopping experience I'll have if I stay the weight I am. It definitely doesn't appeal.

Looks like the glass of water with every glass of wine approach is working for me although I slept in today so it was a late weigh-in. Weights yesterday was short session but I am ridiculously tired this morning.
@HappyDonkey75 - I share your frustration at weekends away where there's very little option for good food choices. If those 2lbs have crept back on then it's very unlikely to be fat and much more likely to be water retention due to salt. And 12 hours in a car? I find 4 hours more than enough, can't begin to imagine 12 especially just for a weekend! Hope you have a good journey back and the scales are kind to you Monday morning.1 -

I was not managing to get to the trampoline at all so have modified the goal to every other day. Am asking my partner to help motivate me.

Well the first week is done.
The good part was
No beer
No pop
No McDonalds
No sweet smoothies
No chips
No ice cream
No coffee and Tim bits
My weigh in time is at the end of the day.
Iβm determined still to lose 10 pounds by the end of this month.

I tried my black jeans on yesterday, they closed! but extremely tight.. We had a barbecue, and I grilled some veggies for the weekend.

Late to the party but I still came.

June ending weight: probably around 107
Todays weight, July 08 : no clue - I'm camping.
Goal weight for July 14th ish - 105.6
I went to visit home for the beginning of july. My mom had a heart attack the end of June - severe. June 28-today she has been in the hospital. Maybe.... MAAAAYBE today she will be transferred to a swing bed. I and my prince charming have been working 1/2 days remote. The Lord was good to us, he saved mom for us. She is recovering - although this is scarey for us kids /(me and my 2 older brothers).
Mom is 77. She had 2 stents put in the Right and Left arteries and will be fitted for a lifeVest today. They are getting close to having her meds figured out. They keep adjusting it, which one she is getting as well as what time she recieves it. I don't see how she will get out today..... I live 13hours away normally - except this week since I am nearby. *thanks in advance for prayer support*
Then, just a day later, the Lord took my 58yr old sister in law to heaven. She had Muscular distrophy, was bed ridden and had a pace maker. It was NOT expected at all. But the lord took her from this world and now, I try to be a support for my brother who is trying to figure out how to do this chapter of his life. He is 58 as well, maybe 57... 59... somewhere in there.
I have been eating right and working out. I've decided that over indulging will make me feel like poop and, quite honestly the days feel poopy enough without me feeling that way. So I decided to eat healthy and clean and, I am enjoying that so much. Indeed it does NOT feel like punishment or deprivation. It feels good.

Ok itβs coming along yay. Yesterday I had a super intense craving for cheeseburger with fries. So I listened to my body and had a picnic with it. Interestingly I wasnβt hungry for dinner after so I listened to my body again and just had dandelion tea. So it ended up being within calorie budget.

Starting the week with the right foot. Had a difficult weekend with lots of temptations, I gave into some.. But, I forgive myself, and let's keep pushing forward. I'll treat myself (with a piece of clothing) this weekend if I manage stay on top of my diet this week.

Did not expect this after the last three days. but certainly relieved.
Food options were difficult but I made sure I did three things. Did NOT overeat , drank A TON of water, (and used herbal diuretics since I tend to retain water) and made the best choices I could with food given some of it was out of my control (prepared by others or eating at restaurants that didn't exactly have good healthy options. If I couldn't eat a healthy meal, I ate less of a meal.
