Hi Friends,
Just got back from a beautiful vacation in Australia. We were there for several weeks. We split meals, skipped lunch sometimes, and drank low sugar alcohol drinks when possible.
Today, I went to work out for the first time in weeks.
Tonight, I have a Pilate class and tomorrow I signed up for yoga.
I am not committing to a month worth of these classes though; just making baby steps.

07/02-185.4-(Trend Weight: 186.3)- Yesterday was a good day and it reflects on the scale this morning. Sometimes it doesn’t show up right away, even with the best efforts so I was grateful to see a better number. Last night the food monster named Mr. Chocolate came out in full force. This time I won. I told myself quite clearly and TRUTHFULLY that another square of my 70% dark cocao chocolate was not going to satisfy me. I would just want more, and then more and then more, more, more, more, more, more. All another square (or two or four) would do is stop me from making any progress this morning on the scale. What it would NOT do is scratch my itch as the cravings NEVER EVER end. I mean, even when I’m over-full I just want more. After reasoning with myself, I skipped the chocolate. I don’t always win this battle but last night I did. Let’s hope for more nights like that. I want to type in pink way more often in July. My June during other MFP challenges was mainly black and blue and I'm feeling very bruised over it.

My husband and I are retired, however...we watch our Grandsons during the week. Collin is 18 months and is our Morning Duty. Ronan is in 2nd Grade and is our Afternoon Duty.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out. The boys can be exhausting...

I know the weight went on in leaps and bounds and will come off in pathetic little dribbles but at this point I truly appreciate any progress I can make. It feels good to be back on track. I just need to mix the exercise back in. It’s easy to be lazy on that front when you feel as out-of-breath and pudgy as I feel right now. I can actually feel every pound I put on at this point and I’m not real happy about that. I hope I can feel the improvement as I lose it back down.

Checking in. I am back from our fabulous three week vacation. I've done two yoga classes and one Pilates in the last week. I love the feel of both classes. I do need to incorporate more walking. I went to a deep tissue massage twice, as well since my return. These feel very therapeutic because 30 min. is focused on the feet (reflexology) and 30 minutes on the body. We were on a plane for 17 hours straight on our journey and my body was so tight and stressed.
I have incorporated a bowl of fruit as my breakfast every morning to get more vitamins.
Feeling well these days!

07/09-189.0-(Trend Weight: 187.6)- The 4 day holiday weekend really bit me in the behind. Back on track now and actually making progress. Yes, this number was worse (higher) yesterday. I know the weight went on in leaps and bounds and will come off in pathetic little dribbles but at this point I truly appreciate any progress I can make. It feels good to be back on track. I just need to mix the exercise back in. It’s easy to be lazy on that front when you feel as out-of-breath and pudgy as I feel right now. I can actually feel every pound I put on at this point and I’m not real happy about that. I hope I can feel the improvement as I lose it back down.
07/16-188.8-(Trend Weight: 189.0)- A very small drop after a very good day. I got in extra steps when I lost my cat outside. I didn’t know she was in my attached garage and when I came home and opened the door she got out. She went into the woods and I followed her in difficult terrain but eventually lost her. She is a tortie so she was well camoflauged. She did eventually come back to the yard after about 90 minutes where she continued to run from me but I finally got her near her catio and managed to get her into it so I could lock her in. Maybe I shouldn’t have given her that extra special treat last night after the ordeal. She didn’t really deserve it but I was so happy she came back home even if she strung me along in the yard for awhile. And why does food always have to be a reward? Hmmm.

My husband and I are retired, however...we watch our Grandsons during the week. Collin is 18 months and is our Morning Duty. Ronan is in 2nd Grade and is our Afternoon Duty.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out. The boys can be exhausting...
