Or an electric bicycle?
If electric bicycle, I don't know anything about them. Have never used one and have only seen them from a distance.

Mo. I have a hybrid. I love it.
In the US, a hybrid bike has tires between racing and mountain bike tires, so beefier than a regular 10 speed but not as hefty as mountain bike.

I find this is a much better way to use Facebook because it eliminates or significantly reduces the quantity of rubbish that appears in the normal, main Newsfeed. And it's really easy to use.

I read through on Thursday night drying commercials while watching the new Matlock. I hope this I a very successful show.
Tonight I watched the pilot of Georgie and Mandy’s first marriage. A sequel to Young Sheldon. I loved it.

Lisa - do you have problems with lighting in your sewing room? I have an Ottlite and it’s been a wonderful addition. I also put a daylight bulb in a hanging light. My vision is poor so this helped a lot.
Lanette - maybe a few more calls with Earl and you’ll have a friendship going. 😂
Heather - I meant to comment on John’s painting. Reflections are so hard .
I almost have Jonah’s gift for Christmas done. One of my cohorts at ceramics painted the eyes for me. She is an artist, literally. That’s how she earns her living.
This weekend I’m going to figure out what I have for items for my first craft sale. Pull the stuff out of the flowerbeds and not much else. I need a down weekend.

Thank You so much for the birthday wishes. It was nice to be off today. Unfortunately, I stayed up until 3:30 am watching YouTube videos. So when I woke up this morning, I was cold. I cut on the heat. Then the dog was up, so I had to let her out and go outside with her. I did and told her that it was cold out. Then, I used the downstairs restroom and left Rose outside. I got dressed and took
Rose to day camp. Then I went home, made breakfast, and listened to my DH singing to me on the phone. Then I went upstairs and went back to bed. Then my doorbell rang, and I got the most beautiful flowers from DH. It made me smile. Then, I went back to bed and slept well. Then I got up, decided to pack up the too-big things, and threw away what was so old and tattered. I got ready to go to the pool, but my gas tank was empty, so I went to get gas. Then, it dawned on me that the pool closed early on.
Fridays. Then I had a taste for Thai food, so I ordered and was going to get my free " bundtlet cake" for my birthday. Then, I looked up the calories and carbs. I felt it wasn't worth it. I did some online shopping for our Orlando trip in December. I got some reading in, at least. Thanks again for the lovely birthday wishes.
Pip, how old is Yogi? Vet bills can be so high that I am thinking about pet insurance. My friend spent $3,000.00 on his one pup, but the other two were fine. My other friend had to pay $1500 when her dog ate her underwear and wrapped it in his colon. Rose needs eye surgery for growth, which costs $400.00.
Heather, I purchased a pearl necklace for my DH to give me. I usually have to tell DH where we eat, too, so I was surprised by the flowers. Great job on the writing, Heather.
Lisa, I love the greens in the bag. Red is my favorite color, but I have been attracted to greens lately.
Rebecca, my mom, is in memory care. I had to put her in there after caring for her for 14 years prior. While I was at work and my husband had to leave town, the alarm let my DH know she left. So, at 1:00 am, I had to leave work to look for my mom. I had to call the police, and they were going to put out a silver alert when my mom knocked on my window and asked for a ride. She was six blocks away. So we knew we had to put her in a nursing home.
Allie had fun on the cruise and took plenty of pictures.
Machka, I desperately need a handheld vacuum. I have been reading the reviews, and I still don't know which one I should purchase. I purchased one in the past, and it was a major disappointment.
Well, I'd better go to bed now. Everyone have a wonderful weekend. Talk to you next week.

Good morning beautiful ladies!
Mo glad you had a good birthday.
The day will come when my dad goes wandering too much and I can't take care of him anymore. So far, he gets up in the night to snack, to get the paper, and to put the flag up. I wish he wouldn't go outside but I can't stop him. At least nowadays he wears his pants. It's chilly!
Last night my dad was telling me he sailed on the Nile river in Egypt. I doubted it but my sister said he was essentially correct. He has done many things!
We will go walking in the forest this morning. So good for both of us.

Hey, kiddos,
Saturday morning is ticking right along, all my domestic noises making my sound environment feel right - washer, dryer, dishwasher, with added dehydrator fan (apples) and icemaker both adding to the low-level cacophony. Makes me happy.
Corey has plans for work he wants to do on the house during his four-day weekend, and I have things I'd like to accomplish this weekend, as well... so we'll see who actually accomplishes how much! 😍
Heather - Loving yours and Johnny's painting...
Tracey - I have one standing Ott light-type which I have over one table I use to do anything really picky, one standing lamp providing upward and downward light, and two desk lamps, one pointed at my cutting mat and one at my sewing surfaces. Plus I have the overhead light, as well! My sight is not what it was, and it's definitely not getting better. All the machines also have built in lights, but they're not nearly as bright as I need. I use the Ott light's daylight mode when I paint, as well. The only thing I don't like about my craft room is there's very little natural light, as the French doors, which are the only windows, open on the carport, which means it's shaded all year long. I will probably have to get a couple more Ott lights if I keep doing what I'm doing now.
Annie - So proud of you for putting together six bags to donate! It's not easy, but it actually becomes a little bit addictive, in the end. If something is in my way, it always gets the decision made of whether it's in use or not.
Time to get Corey his third cup of coffee - he drinks five or six before he gets up for the second time. Black. I'd be doubled over in pain, and buzzing until next Tuesday! But... I moved from coffee to tea more than six months ago now, even one cup of coffee was making me nauseated. If you're not enjoying it, it's time to quit! Apparently, he still enjoys it.

Well the Beyond came in this morning pulled by 2 tug boats because of the wind..so ol Allie has put the seasickness patch on already .. its gonna be a bumpy sail away for sure..
Im all packed up and ready to roll you know me..my cousins will be here to pick me up around 10:45. If it wasn't so blessed windy out id go sit outside.6 -

I slept deeply last night ... I was so tired.

You didn’t ask me but we had both, a hybrid and a road bike. In Washington, we rode 52 weeks a year, year round bike riders. In winter we rode the hybrid which I had panniers on them for my work clothes and stuff, in summer we rode our road bikes, they were faster. When we moved to California, here in Fresno, there is no “winter” to speak of so we sold our winter bikes. I think we had about 8 bikes or so. Now, I have two, one on the bike trainer at home and one for the outside bike riding, both road bikes, one a specialized other a cannondale. He has 3. A Klein which they don’t make anymore and a bike made out of wood that we had made for him. It’s in the condo as a piece of art when he’s not riding it and an e-bike after he got hit by a car when he was riding his bike home. He really doesn’t use the e-bike anymore.

Not much to say today. Went to Albertsons, Post Office, Wendy’s for lunch, and Walmart yesterday with DH. Knee and back were both very sore from that when we got home, so nothing much else but movies, iPad, and reading. Lunch at Wendy’s was baked potato with sour cream and chives with a small cup of chili. Supper was leftover shepherds (cottage) pie.
I’ve been impressed with DH this past week. He’s been really kind to me and doing everything so I can rest my leg and avoid the doctor. He is being sweet! Not sure what is wrong! LOL 🤪 When at Walmart yesterday, I bough a knee brace so I can begin back to doing some walking. Wasn’t sure it would fit, but it does. A smaller one would constrict my leg too much. I felt like a cyborg yesterday with the leg brace and back brace on! Oh, well, I do what I need to do. The ortho called wanting to set up an MRI for my back. There was a $150 co-pay that I just couldn’t do this month so canceled it. I can’t do the therapy b/c of the co-pay either. I hate having to choose groceries over medical, but can’t do anything else.

Mo - sounds like you had a nice birthday. Flowers! My neighbor across the street, Roger, has an e-bike. The subdivision where we live is out in the country and he bikes all over the place on the country roads. He's in his early 80's. I'd be a little concerned riding it on the road with the crazy drivers but it doesn't bother him. Always glad to see him arrive back home in one piece. He's my emergency handy-man. 
Allie - great picture of SMiles and sis! They'll be a great duo. Hope you have a smooth cruise and enjoy yourself immensely.

Nice to see Drew got to tag along. I never made it back to my HS reunions after the 20th. My 50th was a few years ago - I had some friends who attended who sent me plenty of pictures and gossip, lol. There were 99 in my graduating class, I think more than half are gone now. Beautiful photos of you and your son at the Botanical garden. I swear you look younger every time I see a picture of you.
Pip - Klein bicycles were manufactured just a few miles from me, out in the country. Did Kirby go to their manufacturing place to get it? If he did..... here we go crossing paths again. Looks like they stopped manufacturing in 2009.
Rita - you will be a cyborg by the time you get your gear on. Hope it all helps and you can get a decent walk in. Glad to hear your DH is concerned and helpful for you. Is the population at the park starting to dwindle now? Are there many long-term campers there? I like to read about the nomads who live in their van conversions and campers and sometimes find places to park for the winter, or at least an extended period of time (more than just a couple days.)
Annie - sounds like your dad is doing well. Glad you both have a nice place to walk in the forest - I'm sure the activity is helping his brain.
Yesterday the temp stayed below 50 and it was rainy and breezy all day. Reminded me of mid-November.

I see. My Dad was in memory care, dealing with "Lewy Bodies disease" and Alzheimer's. When he first arrived there, he was in a lower security area, but he packed a bag and took off in the middle of the night, stopping at a dealership trying to steal a car. He got a ride back to the facility in the back of a police car, the little thief. My sister was called, and he told Dad no more riding in police cars! He was like, it was no fun! Poor guy. 💖 They treated him really well there, and though I lived in CA, and he was in Gresham OR, I was able to see him off and on while visiting family. Each time the nurses told me I arrived on a good day, so I was blessed. I hope your sweet momma is cared for diligently, and with compassion.👍🏼🙏💖

Having a good weekend with DSIL. Chatting our jaws off! She took John out to buy him his birthday present, which turned out to be gin made in Hove!!!
We got an Uber to the fish restaurant, where we tucked in to fish and chips and mushy peas.. She was impressed with the setting and ambiance and we got a great table with a view of the sea.
Came home and chatted some more!
Tomorrow we might do a bit of art in the morning. We'll see. DSIL says she is scared, but I can find something easy for her to do. It's going to be rainy.

Tracey - Keep forgetting to say how much I love the dragon, and really interested in what you're taking to the craft fair. I need to drag everything out, get it priced and scribble out an inventory, so I know what sells. It's the organizer's problem to deal with getting the sales tax to the state, but I have to collect it as I go and get the amount to her. Might write her a check, so I'll have written confirmation I've paid it.
I forget who asked - Lanette? - but most of the small items I've made are for the fair on Nov. 16. The designer-type handbags, if I decide I've got some that will sell, will be going to the standing indoor farmer's market, to his local artisan section. Need to get a few made in these next two weeks if I'm going to take something up there. I probably will - the worst he can say is "no," that's not what he had in mind, and it's not a problem if he does.
Very quiet day... not a lot of stuff accomplished, but a few...

Good luck with your sale. I have one that day also. I am not sure if I am going to do it by myself(hoping I will) or if dh is going to go with me. It is close to mom's so I could stay the weekend with her. I also have one in Dec.
Hopefully they will both be worth the time. The first one the table space is very small so need to figure out how to set up the tables- 6ft only and no space behind the table(table will be up against the wall). We usually fill up at least 10-12 ft with no problem.

Got the Halloween blowmolds out and decided which inflatables we will use this year. Vince is thinking that tomorrow we’ll bring in the one door that he just put the second coat of paint on and bring out the other door for him to work on and put up the inflatables. He’s also thinking that we will bring in the umbrellas from the pool. Got another donation for the Salvation Army ready, just not sure when I can get it there since they open so late now
Annie – why did your dad cry? Did you have your mother’s stuff or was it just yours?
By the time I went to church and then we had dinner, it was getting too dark to go for my walk. Did I happen to mention how much I hate this time of year????

Good morning beautiful ladies!
Michele yes some of the clothes were my Mom's. But it wasn't stuff she wore often. And he never looked in the bags so he wouldn't have known what was in there. I'm losing patience with him feeling sorry for himself. He had an excellent marriage for 65 years. I remind him of that sometimes but I'm very careful what I say because he can grieve his own way on his own timeline.
He argued back to me today that he could walk to church. He got lost just two weeks ago. It worries me because if I can't talk him out of trying to walk, then the living arrangement falls apart.
But now he is napping quietly and I just have to watch him. I just feel grumpy this morning.
