My meals were good yesterday. Sleep was pretty good too but I still feel tired.

Looks like you are catching up on your sleep :)<3
I shouldn’t be staying up late watching the Tyson fight but here we are :#
(Hope Iron Mike teaches that impertinent Jake Paul a lesson) - just finished the brutal women’s match, they’re up next!

Whelp, let’s just say “I choose poorly” by watching Fight Night Friday evening…
Not only did Iron Mike lose, I compromised my night’s rest, then today to add insult to injury, I hauled off to meet a friend to go riding, only to find both parks at Lake Whitney were closed!?!?
    “Wasted Day & Wasted Ni-i-ight”!!!
But we’ll try try again tomorrow, this weather is too glorious to ignore…

My sleep last night sucked I didn’t take my oil and it really affected my ability to fall asleep. No deep sleep at all.

    Whoa, that’s something else!?!
Today we’re going to go to the AT&T trail which I know is open - feeling a little guilty over neglecting my mother but I have limited time & certainly limited energy… if I don’t get in some ride time, my own mental health will crash.
Sleep was fairly decent, diet was marginal but weight is creeping back down to 191.6
The photo of RFK sharing Mickey D’s with Trump & Co is all over social media - I’m lucky I don’t have a camera crew following me around to document my errors in judgment!

My sleep was fabulous. I took my oil. I’m all out now but my son will pick me up more Monday. So tonight’s sleep could be interesting.

Whoa! Good job on resting up - I wish I felt more fortified going into this work week…
Last night passed in an endless cycle of naps; I could’ve done with some more deep sleep.
    vwyokngo653o.jpeg
Part of the problem was that I opened the window; there was a stiff breeze blowing in most of the night & my little kitty foot-warmer abandoned me!

Well last night’s sleep sucked. I was out of the oil and the pills. I place my order with the store and my son will pick up this afternoon. Also his week of hunting is over so he will be moving out again until the next hunting week. I’ll have my house back. This weekend I also had his son and his son’s mom here for the weekend.

Ugh, my phone was too slow on downloading my data, but my sleep last night was not too good either - I had a hard time winding down, probably took me almost an hour to fall asleep.
Tina Fea quit eating, spit up her pills last night and has had some diarrhea… I am trying some basic treatments but we’re not gonna get all heroic here. This may be my last “two little dogs in lap” picture if I can’t turn this around :(

You can see TF has lost weight which she couldn’t afford to lose in the first place; I’ll be scared to put her on the scales this morning :'(

I’m so sorry Tina Fea is not doing too well. My thoughts are with you today.

My sleep last night started out great. Then I had a dream that startled me awake and the couldn’t get back to sleep. Hence 3 different sleep cycles and none of them any good.

The Well guy finally came out yesterday and I have to decide on letting them try to fix and repair pump in old well and pray it works for a couple of grand but if I can’t get the old pump out of the well it, I’ll be out of water completely for two weeks until they can drill a new well. Or I just go ahead and drill a new well and not worry about the old one. The old one is from 1998 so it’s 26 years old.

So that is the dilemma. I’m dealing with now.

I got nothing for you on the water well debate - we’re lucky we were able to get municipal water out here; it would’ve been over $15K to dig a well and that was 30+ years ago!
But I’m thrilled to report my Hail Mary treatments worked, Tina Fea has risen like Lazarus!!!
She ate her canned food Tuesday night & was yapping at the kennel door for me Wednesday morning. I don’t know how long this miracle will last but we’re gonna ride with it… “The miracle of steroids FTW!!!”
My sleep quality has been crap; my diet not much better but I’m still hovering around that 191-192 mark. My poor Kristy is nursing her mother through the final stages of her lung cancer battle (she left work early yesterday, racing to her parents around noontime) - I keep checking my phone for updates but she hasn’t texted me since about 10 PM last night - they are giving her hourly morphine.

Whelp, my Thursday afternoon went completely sideways when my mom slipped to the floor in her bathroom & they sent her to the ER by ambulance so we spent the rest of the day getting X-rays, CT, bloodwork, etc. Final conclusion is a UTI; they released her with ambulance transport to return to her facility shortly before 10 PM. I’m not looking forward to this next stage of Mom’s aging process. Kristy’s mom is still hanging on, so we’ll be shorthanded today. Obviously this is what coffee was made for! - I drank an iced coffee yesterday afternoon which disrupted my sleep. (We simply won’t talk about the junk food - what else is available in the hospital??)

Poor Kristy’s mom was released from her suffering last night, which is a blessing.
We staggered through our Friday “just the 3 of us” (me, Amber the receptionist & Elizabeth as my young half-trained veterinary assistant) with a fully booked schedule, but somehow we survived…
Then I had to stagger home & prep my side dishes (sweet potatoes & cornbread dressing) for our Saturday-before-Thanksgiving extravaganza. I’ll leave transportation of the food items as Hubby’s responsibility (he made sausage rolls) while I roll out in a bit to see to my mom - if she’s up to showering off & making an appearance, I’ll do my best to make that happen…
I don’t appreciate one cousin’s query “if she was still in that jailhouse where you left her?” Nevertheless, I’ll suit up & go.
I promised another cousin that I’d bring a set of vaccines for their rescued puppy.

My sleep score last night was a 79 - C+ sounds about right! At least it was better than Saturday night, when I didn’t feel as if I slept much at all. I was staggering around with vertigo-like symptoms Sunday afternoon, but I think that was sheer fatigue?
Ready to go back to work this Monday morning to have some perceived normalcy! I’m still in shock from learning on Saturday that my cousin’s husband has left her: 4 almost-grown kids but she’s been a SAHM for almost 25 years. I’m scared to death for her.
My situation was considerably different (not trying to have a contest here,) but I think it’s more traumatic to be abandoned with a newborn… At least I had a career & an income source to lean into…
I really thought V & R were going to be one of those all too rare happily-ever-after stories. Need to go blog about it.

My food still sucks but I woke up feeling like I can get back to eating better. My self-pity party is over I think. I can change anything. I either need a new well or I can fix the old one. I’m hoping to get a second opinion on it this week.

My sleep was good even though it was almost 2 am before falling asleep

I fell into bed last night like a poleaxed steer - I was SO exhausted! I was lights-out before I even finished my 10-min meditation loop. Think I scored an 80, it felt considerably better than Sunday night with that extra hour of deep sleep!

Looks good. My food is still out of whack, I’m aiming for December 1 to start and n a straight path again. Sleep is still going well with the CBN oil.

Fortunately it was warmer this morning than yesterday morning - I am not ready for cold weather! I got chilled yesterday evening during my acupuncture session even though she puts a heat lamp on my upper back.
Sleep was fairly decent and December 1 sounds like a great restart day; I met my son for a quick Chinese dinner last night, so I know all that sodium & MSG has me bloated. He wants to do another Thanksgiving dinner at Victoria‘s grandmother’s house tomorrow. (I’ll do my usual cornbread dressing & sweet potatoes)

Sounds like a great time. Our Thanksgiving was in October on a Sunday so I just watched Nascar.

    Sleep was great last night

I’ve got my cornbread dressing in the oven & all the rest of my prep is done (sweet potatoes, deviled eggs, Chex mix, apple pie)
Just got off the phone wishing my dear old friend Charles a Happy Thanksgiving; his blood pressure has spiked & the only source of stress we can determine is his fragile ancient poodle - I told him these crazy lil’ old dogs are certainly challenging! Tina Fea’s appetite is giving me fits, the only thing she’ll eat right now is Fresh Pet Chicken, but hey, at least she had a normal BM this morning! Tina Fea is back to baseline at 4 lbs 4 oz but we won’t talk about my weight until Sunday, m’kay??

Do you see that green box in the background? That this the case of canned food I just bought for T.F. which she now ignores as if it’s poison

I got up this morning with a slight nosebleed which I blame on the colder weather (34 degrees this morning, brrrrr!!!)
I’ll be layering up when I go back out in a few minutes - I’m meeting my friends for a ride about 1.5 hrs away. Beautiful partly-cloudy skies, it’s supposed to warm up to 60 degrees.
I didn’t go anywhere related to shopping yesterday, but Hubby went to Walmart** & said it was fine…
Tina Fea wanted mama’s lap more than she wanted breakfast this morning, but she did eat fairly well last night. She hated putting on the sweater but I think she appreciates it now!

** He bought 3 turkeys which he’s going to roast, break down & freeze - guess we’ll be on a poultry-based diet for a while. I just couldn’t bring myself to buy any beef when I went by grocery store Wed; I was very disappointed in the NY strips I splurged on last week. For $14.99/lb, I expect tender flavorful steak!?!
