Hello everyone I’m new here, been back in the gym for about 1.5-2 months. Just looking for some people to talk to/ make friends with to make it more enjoyable!

    Good luck in your journey! I've been back and forth but still haven't given up.

    Good luck mate. Happy to connect if you want to. I’m restarting this week focussing on diet initially before I get back to the gym, picked up a couple injuries in the last few months I need to sort first.

    If your focus is on fitness, and you'd like to find others to talk with about that, you might want to take a look at challenges in that part of the MFP Community:

    There are challenges specific to certain types of workouts, others that are "set your own goals and report your progress" kinds of things, and more.

    There are also some threads where people just post whatever workout they did, of any type, and chat a bit around the edges. I'm sure there are more, but these are a couple:

    Both of those have been going on a long time, so don't be dismayed if you open them up and see old posts. You can skip directly there using the arrow/number links near the top and bottom of any page of the thread.

    Any of those kinds of threads can be a way to virtually meet a few people and get some encouragement, camaraderie, or support.
