Total calories 2740. Base calories 2140.
Here's the situation: I went to services last night and skipped all the "goodies" like jelly donuts and cookies. Today I had my share. I went over 600 calories from Base. I have to admit I was excited to make up. Hopefully tomorrow will bring balance and serenity.
@walkintofit. I better get my calories in gear tomorrow. So glad that you are doing well. I will make it a point to include you in my post so I am in alignment. Take care all.

Thanks Greaterthanlife , do you exercise? just wondering. I'm trying to figure out what to change for the new year. Calorie count? more exercise, I know I need more veggies. I haven't done much walking due to being tired from work. That should settle down in a couple weeks.1

Total calories 2840. Base calories 2140. A good 700 calories over base for the day. I do not know what tomorrow will bring. Needless to say I will be checking in for support.
@walkforfit. I walk around since I do not drive. It has been challenging these two weeks with my food calories. I am doing my best. Yesterday I could not find this room so I posted calories in a different one. Hopefully this room will be available for chatting tomorrow.3 -

I snuck some fast food breakfast this Morning but I'm really tired and it was delicious 🤣
Read a meditation this Morning from Seneca. "Be ruthless with things that don't matter". Lots of context for this, could be saying no in work, knowing that "work" isn't the priority or just recognising that you have to do the right things that will move you towards your goals, whatever they are.
I'm back to tracking, including my breakfast treat but it's a box salad for lunch.
I'll jump on the scales between now and Sat, I expect it's gone up but that's OK, there's time now for it to go the other way.3 -

Amazing! I am in for this. Today I did a heavy bag work out for 20. I walked on a 3 incline at 3 speed for 20. Did some situps as well. About 40. Had pork and rice for lunch and will have it for diner too. May swap out some rice for roasted veg. -Dan at Day 1, 204 lbs out of 170 lbs goal.2

Had a great day yesterday, visiting with neighbors and drinking wine and snacks. When I got home I ate 6 chocolate chip cookies and that really ruined my day as far as eating was concerned. Will try to get back on track today2

my base calories are really low, 1240, I do walk a lot at work and sometimes after work. tracking everything. hard to log chips. must be time to get a food scale

Good workout danwestmoreland32, I'm still to do a workout, although yesterday was removal of the external lights, trip to the tip with a tonne of boxes/cardboard and old micro. Stopped off at a DIY centre and picked up 2 shelf racks for the garage, one has gone up, the other one is waiting, as is a good tidy up in the garage.
Got a reminder this Morning about the premium renewal, I'm going to keep it I think as the macros are really helpful.
Read the below this Morning by Epictetus. A great reflection on what we do (or don't do) towards our goals.

Today will be porridge and banana which I've just enjoyed and a box salad from over the road.

mikey I think the reading is correct. The proper work of the mind... that is my issue. my mind is all over the place and can't settle into a routine.. maybe I just want to crawl in a hole and stay there for a while. I do make myself get up and go to work. Exercise, just do something. Maybe its time to leave this place. Go for a road trip.1

Hey guys! First let me congratulate y'all, it´s really inspiring to read everybody improving and helping each other. I'm a 27 year old from Lima, Peru and I started using the app since december, tough month to lose weight but still comitted to eat less and continue to excercise. I love running and basketball, so trough the years I´ve been able to mantain my weight a 71kg, my goal is to lose about 5kg in order to look better and be a better athlete.1
