I just got back to MFP. Used it for years but went off for a while while I worked through a structured strict plan. I successfully lost 75# and now I'm focusing on eat whole healthy foods and continuing to lose slower. Always looking for friends to journey with!

Olá I am new here # Andre_Grans I was born and raised in Brasil! Like so many here I am looking for a community of like minded individuals to help me on my journey.
I used to be shredded before I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2019. I am still here. My body is shot. I am 5'4 large metamorph framed and currently weigh 184lbs but that goes up and down drastically. I would like to lose 25 to 30 lbs.
I have many food allergies. I have Celiac Disease. I have Hashimoto's which is a autoimmune disease where your body
attacks your throid ( why my weight is up and down and why weight loss especially now is very difficult)
I am also a post menopausal female. This brings a whole new ball game because of hormones.
I cannot spend four hours in the gym like I used to because of my health. My bones would break. I do not have the energy. There is just a lot. Plus I have a torn tendon and bone damage in my rotator cuff.
Why am I sharing all of this? I want people, all of you out there, to know we are in and on this journey together. No matter what our wellness goals look like. No matter how old you are. No matter your strengths or challenges, together and with as much help as we can get ( PT, trainers, MD, RDs, NDs, Mental Health Pratictioners etc ..) we got this !

Hello all, I haven’t used this app in a while and I’m not sure what is going on. Where is the news feed and why doesn’t anything show up on anyone’s profile pages? I’d love to add friends for mutual support but I have no idea how that would work without being able to see posts and comment. Thanks!

Sadly they got rid of the news feeds which is why you're not seeing activity on profiles like you used to.
You can still add friends but you can't see what they've been doing and cheer them on like you previously could - basically you have to message them to keep in touch.

I wonder why they did that. That was what set MFP apart from other food tracking apps. Thanks for letting me know.

good morning! I am needing to lose weight to feel better but I have zero motivation. I don’t think I’m in a great headspace emotionally, physically or mentally. Very tired all of the time, very apathetic, very stressed. New job, family strife, financial struggles, and more. Can somebody help me find a place to start to help me feel better?

Why did you remove the Newsfeed?
We are always evaluating our offerings to improve our members’ experience on the MyFitnessPal app. The Newsfeed is a rarely used feature. Therefore, we have removed it from the main navigation and simplified entry points to the Blog and Community tabs within the More menu.

Hello!! I am brandnew to MFP, introduced from a Weight Loss center I have been on for 4 weeks and it's going really well. I have lost 12 pounds in 4 weeks, 8# fat loss. I have a very long road to go, so i am seeting my sights a year out. I have been on a yo yo most of my adult life and now 61.. It's do or die for me.. I will take and give any support…. hope I can help at least one person :)
