Wish I could see your pics Tara but they are a big red X at work. I'll have to look at home this weekend! You look amazing now, I can tell you that!!

Well guys I'm a big failure this week! TOM showed up and now my weight is back up. I'm not going to record a gain so let's keep it the same as last week. :( I am going to the podiatrist this morning for my plantar fasciitis. My main goal is to get a recommendation for the right kind of shoes for my feet in this condition so I can continue to work out. I love my Brooks but they are worn out. I may also see about custom orthotics. My deductible is met and my insurance covers them at 90%!

Don't think of it as a failure...think of it as a...hiccup! Things happen, and TOM is EVIL. Hope everything get's worked out with the podiatrist! My mom has plantar fasciitis, and I think I'm making my way there.

Alrighty, My official weigh in for the week is 228.4. I am starting to get back down there after my few crazy weeks at work. I am still very excited to be home and be able to schedule my workouts and plan my healthy eating a LOT more efficiently. I have always wanted to be a stay at home mommy and now my dreams are coming true. Now all I need is the babies! Speaking of that, I would love everyones thoughts and prayers next thursday. I am going in for laparoscopic surgery to take a look around my reproductive organs and correct any problems that may be going on. It is not a super serious procedure, but is done under general anesthesia and there are a lot of unknowns. I am very nervous because I have never had to do anything like this before. Following shortly after this procedure we will be starting IUI or IVF depending on the outcome of the surgery. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers in advance!

how come I can't find this week's challenges?!?!? i DO not have much time to go through the whole board if you don't mind just reposting it quick or sending me a message!??! ANYONE!!

I'm at 153.4 this morning!!! Not bad after an eventful week!!! TTYS!!! gotta work....

    1. Incorporate 45 minutes of strength training total for the week! (We will start this one slow in case some people aren't lifting.)
This can include free weights, weight machines, or using yourself (i.e. pushups, squats, etc..), resistence bands..etc... You get the picture. :0) THanks for the suggestion! :0) I love it!

    2. Go OVER calories for 1 day! YES>.. GO OVER.... But...lets keep it real and don't go over by more than 300 calories! The other 6 days we are trying to stay under! (those who are ALWAYS under..this may help trick your body..and it gives us others a little day to play with not being perfect! :0) )

    3. Burn at least 2000 calories!

    4. 60 Cups of water for the week total!

There you have it! These are your challenges for the week! We can do all of these! :0) Be strong ladies!

THANKS KAE!!! I just printed & will get on that!!! I'm getting busier @ work, which is a GREAT thing- my father & I run an insurance agency & things weren't going so well for a while- so i'm happy to be busy- but also jealous of all you guys who get to check in all the time!! I try to do my best from my phone but that does't allow me access to this board!

What do you guys all do for a living?! Do you work part-time, full-time, unemployeed, SAHM?!? I find it tough to check in daily since I do work full time & drive 80 miles a day round-trip to work:( Also, then get home & have a 2 yr old to keep busy with!!

SO please don't' go hatin' on a sista' (ewww) who is trying her hardest to be a supportive teammate- even if on NOT on "the" board- I still am ON BOARD!!!!

    thinking of you all!!!

hello ladies! Hope everyone is well this week! catching up with everyone as i finally have some spare time! Have been reading the thread but not had time to comment!

Tara: well done on your one year on mfp! you look fabulous! all your hard work is paying off!

Suzanne: i saw your pics as well, and wow you look amazing too! keep it up

Melinda: i usually gain 2lbs during tom too, so dont worry it will come off. probably just water retention. hope you get some answers to help your foot.

kris1085: sorry i dont know your name, well done on your loss this week! 50lbs is a great achievement! i started mfp in jan too! so well done to you!

Anita: a loss is a loss, no matter how big or small! every little helps! so keep up the good work

KaeChelle: well done on your loss this week! i dont think i got close to getting to some of my goals either! lol

NEcamper47: wow! 3lbs is a fab loss. well done

Annie P- well done on your weightloss!

kkuhly: keeping my fingers crossed for your lap surgery. Hope all is well and you get to start planning the family you deserve

kory: hope the puffiness is just time of month and nothing serious. dont worry about staying the same, its so difficult to lose around time of month, i tend to put on 2-4lbs! but it does come off!

    My orange girlies!
Dee: hang in there, it will happen! 118 is achievable by then!
Angie: well done! oh i bet im over sodium too!

    sorry if i missed anyone!

Tausha: thanks for starting the group! everyone on here is amazing and so supportive of one another! just what i needed to keep myself accountable and get back into shape!

    AFM: Total water: 68/60 DONE
Exercise: 1211 /3500 (very short on goal, but i only count running/ zumba as exercise)
    total days under: 7/7

Oh and the best part: Im back! woohoo, im now 121 lbs! which means ive had a 3lb weight loss since last week. part of it is water retention due to tom but i dont care! 1 more pound to my goal of 120lbs! my maintainance range is 120-124 but if im honest i prefer being 120, so may look to get down to 118-119 and change my range. Im in no hurry, im just glad im back on track after the past few weeks of birthday etc!

jojo--- Nobody's a Hatin! lol... I'm so happy to have you with us! Don't worry... I think we understand when people have to work, family, etc... I think the comments are mainly for those who never check in and eventually are removed from the challenge b/c they don't even post their weight.

Oh..and if you ever need to find the challenges, you don't have to read all the way through the "threads"... Go to my profile page and search through my activity on the right side of the screen... I post there too..its much easier to find.

I try to always post it on Wednesdays.... Oh, and amazing job on your loss this week! :0)

    UPDATED TO THIS POINT!

Mariam... way to go hun!! How cool you are back to maintenance weight! AWESOME!

Okay, my weight as of today is 170.6. You do the math.

    Good work everyone!
  • Hey bb's - just a quick check in. I had a somewhat off week - I did my best though and I am still proud of my accomplishments. I was under my calorie total for all days except 1, drank all of my water but only got in 2285 calories burned. Still pretty good considering I was really ill yesterday and just couldn't do it.

I'm excited about this week though, I've already got 15 mins of weight training in, drank 7 cups of water so far today and have already burned 556 calories so far today - I'm not quite finished, I'm going to do a bit more cycling - talk to you all soon and congratulations on all of your wonderful accomplishments!

oh & p.s. my visitor came and unfortunately I have no change in my weight to report this week.

Wow, so many awesome results for the weigh ins! Great job guys!

As for 'what do you do for work'--I am an RN, but I do computer programming for the IT&S department to program the screens that our nurses use for their electronic documentation. Is nice, because computer science was my first major and I dropped out because I didn't want to stare at the computer screen all day...ah, how we change...
