Do you think you're attractive?

I have a bad day once in a while but I do have a pretty gorgeous face if I do say so myself. My body has potential but it looks pretty great right now provided I'm in flattering clothes. Next step is looking good naked!0

Don't know if this is about attractiveness but I don't see what others see, I still see fat, I wanted to look normal and i don't feel like I look a normal size even now after 81lb! I wonder if I will once I am in onederand!0

That is SO me Jess! I have always struggled with self esteem. You are beautiful!!I don't feel so alone now. I think I'm ok. I like my eyes but have very low self esteem. I hope that starts to change soon. It really gets me down. It's something I've always battled.0

okay ....now im just wondering what the point of the question was?0
-
LOL no, definitely not...at least I'm somewhat smart, I guess. I have one thing going for me.0
-
Now vs two years ago, I am definitely happier but I still don't like my body at all. I don't feel I am attractive at all, just less fat.0

I once told a good friend that it's a shame it took me until I was 30 to realize I was hot when I was 20. :smokin:0

hell to the yes.. especially since becoming stronger physically and emotionally.0

There are days that I feel ridiculously hot. Some days, not so much.0

If I cross my eyes JUST a little, and everything looks kinda blurry...I think my face is attractive. Or if I've had a few shots of Knob Creek.
Like most people who've posted, I have my days where I'm totally ok with me on the outside..and those days when I'm a fat cow from hell.
My husband thinks I'm sexy as hell, especially since I've been on this lifestyle journey, and I'm ok with that.0 -
i think i am attractive when i am smaller but not right now0

I am watching Tough Love Miami right now and Steve Ward just said this and I think it is worth posting.
Self-deprecation is not sexy.0 -
Not really but I make up for it in other ways. :smokin:0

Self-deprecation is not sexy.
I do agree with this. The thing is, some of us were told we were ugly by those who said they loved us in the same breath. That kind of stuff lingers forever. While I have done a decent job breaking that cycle of self-deprecation in my head, I still have a long way to go until I truly believe it.
Those who did not go through that growing up will never know what it's like. And trust me, that's a good thing.0 -
The more and more I got in better shape, the better I felt about myself. So yea, I guess I'm OK looking.0

Know my favorite part of this thread? The OP asked if you think you are ATTRACTIVE. Not beautiful, not perfect, not sexy. I am a word nerd, and when asked a question, I consider it carefully.
There are many people I would not say were beautiful, but would definitely merit attraction. Just saying.0 -
Yes....finally I am at a point in my life where I can say I am happy with me :-)0

Your not just OK looking....FYI0 -

Notice a difference between the guys and girls comments here? It just struck me as I was going through.
i have kind of the opposit problems of some. I love hair, makeup, clothes, and jewelry so I'm always playing around with looks and styles. (This is one of my big incentives for losing weight-shopping at a regular store and getting what I want for less money. However, my body confidence is not great especially after a day like today. My body is losing weight in certain places and though I'm usually pretty hourglass today I'm feeling out of proportion and well... fat. Somedays I think I am super cool and sexy, but other times I think I'm a fat freak. I deal with the same kind of family issues as above, but part of this process is being okay with who I am and rocking that. I have great green/blue eyes and I've finally found stuff to help with my Irish curly hair-thank you Aveda for being a God send. I have a good smile (thank you braces and brushing and flossing) and I have the view that sometimes what makes us unique makes us sexy. Julia Roberts hates her smile and has despised her hair. Gwyneth Paltrow is insecure about her long neck. Heidi Klum hates her feet. Embrace where you are and figure out what you want and can be.0 -

Let's not over-analyze it. The answers illustrate everyone's self-image, regardless of the choice of one word over the other in the OP's question.0 -
No I don't think I am attractive but I still like who and what I am.0

That is what I mean. If you ask people, "what do you find attractive", they will include factors that have nothing to do with appearance. Sense of humor, etc.0
