Hi ladies! I did a 10 lb Slimdown Xtreme Total Body workout tonight ... first time with the 10 lb Slimdown, but I liked it a lot. It's longer than the 30 Day Shred workouts, but I like the pace a little better.

Feeling good to be back on it now -- logging and working out, and pretty soon I'll start losing again!

How are you all doing? It's been quiet here, and since I was out of the loop for a month I know how easy it is to let it fall off the radar when life gets in the way!

Monday morning weigh in and I'm 143.25 lbs. Not too bad, all things considered. I have a busy week ahead of me so I will try and be good with my food and even if I don't manage to keep track we can see how I am doing later this week.

Weighing in at 138.2... not much of a loss but I'm feeling confident that I'm back on it now and will be seeing results in the coming weeks!

My workout plan for tomorrow is C25K Day 1 of Week 4, and then some serious stretching. Today I did a BodyRock workout and LOVED it. I'm going to be doing those Mon, Wed, and Fri, C25K Tues, Thurs, and Sat, and Sunday will be an Active Rest Day. We'll see how that goes!

Whatever you're doing, hit it hard, ladies!!

ETA I may end up doing an earlier week of C25K... we'll have to see how it goes!

What's going on this week, ladies? t Tomorrow I'm doing my second day of C25K week 4, and recovering from the Bodyrock workout I did this morning! I will probably do some yoga in the evening to keep my muscles warm and limber. I haven't lost any weight since the weigh in on Monday, and I decided to put my scale up for a while since it wasn't benefiting me to see the same number (or higher) every time I got on it. I haven't had a problem with daily weighing since I started, but that's probably because when working out and logging, I've seen a clear downward trend despite the usual fluctuations. Since I'm not getting that positive reinforcement, I need to step away from that for a while and just do a weekly weighing to make sure I'm on track.

Hope you all are having a great week! Half way to the weekend!:drinker:

I totally forgot to check in on Monday!! Im pretty sure it was because I had a horrible weigh in. I gained 2 lbs and am now up to 137.8. I went on a binging spree last Saturday and Im pretty sure thats what caused it. Ive been hitting the workouts hard, harder than Ive ever done. I had another little splurge today but was still under my maintenance cals. So I hope it doesnt effect my next weigh in! I noticed that pizza is my biggest weakness. My husband and I are huge pizza fans and its hard to tell him no when he wants it for dinner and even harder to resist it. Hopefully I can get better at that. Well you ladies are still doing fantastic and still checking in!! Im so proud!! Keep up the hard work and never give up! :flowerforyou:

Hi Erykah - have you tried making your own pizza? Pizza is my weakness but my homemade one is half the calories of the shop bought ones.

I have had a horrible couple of days and am now 145.5lbs. Only 11 more days on this med that causes all the craving and then hopefully I can get back to losing weight. In the meantime I am going to have to be extra vigilant to watch what I am eating and find time for some exercise.

Erykah and Sarah -- keep it up with the positive attitudes, and don't let it get you down!! I have to remind myself, every new week is a chance to turn it around; it's all about moving forward!

I'm still hovering at 138.8 (and all this week I've fluctuated up to 143) -- I was 135.4 the third week of August, and gained back up to 145 during my vacation. Living active and eating right just wasn't ingrained enough to survive the changes to my routine, etc... and I haven't been able to get below 138 since then. I have to focus on how far I've already come, make the changes I can, and trust that either the weight will start coming off again, or continue to make adjustments until it does. Keep it up with the positive attitude, you know you've got it. We've ALL got it!

    NEW GROUP TOPIC THREAD!

    Hi Ladies!

I decided to create a new "Hot Moms" group thread that will include all moms in all groups. I'll start posting weekly charts there instead of posting them in each individual group thread. Hope you'll join us!

Sorry for the confusion! Everyone will still participate in their individual groups. I mainly created the "Hot Moms" group thread for those who want more friends and more messages. You can either post your weigh-ins here or the main group thread. Either way, I will check both and then post a new progress chart every Wednesday night.

weight 144.25 lbs - which is down on my high point last week of 145.5 so I'm really happy. Only 8 days left on the meds and as the last dose gets closer I feel so much more optimistic. Put my planned exercise into MFP already. Off now to clean the house and shake my bootie zumba style!!

My two next goals: 17th Oct - 142 lbs, 14th Nov - 135lbs. (I think I got all the dates wrong when I posted all my new goals a while back)

Had a good day today. Got a long walk in (but I did have to miss out on my zumba as I ran out of time today) and didn't go over on my calories. Only 7 doses left of my meds so by this time next week I will have taken my final dose and really it can't come soon enough for me. I really want to see the 130's again.

How is everyone else doing? We are having an extra summer here - it's 3rd Oct so the british weather should be cool and misty and raining but right now we are getting warm sunny days and balmy nights - great for the soul (not so good for getting dehydrated on long walks because I forgot my water bottle).

Hello ladies. Weighing in once again at 131.8
We are finally all moved into the new place so now I can really re-focus. I hope everyone's been doing great!

Weighing in now at 137.6! Finally it's moving down a little -- I was so stuck for a while there!! Hopefully I'll have an even bigger loss for next weigh in.

MacksMama, congrats on your move! And staying the same weight is better than gaining, which is pretty common I think during times when our routines are disrupted. Like during moves!

Sara, I think we got your weather! It's very cool and foggy here the past few days, which doesn't bode well for my morning run tomorrow. I might be hitting the treadmill instead! That's great about your meds - I think you've done a spectacular job of fighting the weight gain that could have brought. Keep it up, you're almost there - and in a short time you won't have that to deal with anymore!

Everything is going swimmingly here, I'm feeling positive and energized, and I hope you all are as well!

My weigh in today was at 138.8, so a pound up from last week. Which is actually kind of okay, because it's TOM here and I figured I'd be weighing in heavier than that even. But, that aside, I didn't expect any loss this week. My scale is not budging. I'm going to let it ride for another week, cleaning up my diet (which has been atrocious) and increasing my exercise a bit. If that doesn't result in a loss, I'll have to really investigate what I need to change. Right now, it seems kind of obvious, so hopefully those changes (the diet ones) will make the difference.

Collinsy great job! I hear you on the scale not budging. I'm on a who knows how long plateau! It's so frustrating, we just have to remember how far we've come!!
    Keep up the great job!

Im sorry guys, I keep forgetting to check in here every week!! :grumble: Ive just been so distracted with my daughters bday party, then vacation, now I got a cold. Im feeling a little better today so I think Ill hop on my elliptical. I weigh in this week at 137. I will be starting C25k on Monday so Im excited about that! I have a 5k coming up on November 17th! My 1st one!

Keep doing what you are doing ladies! I have been seeing some awesome burns and excellent diaries!! :flowerforyou:

C25K Week 6 day 1 this morning (I skipped the walks and just jogged 30 minutes, so I did it all wrong and feel totally fine with that! LOL), and later today I'll do my BodyRock workout.

I'm trying not to get hung up on what the scale says, but I'm feeling really encouraged that I might have finally gotten it to start going down again... hopefully next weigh in will show a real loss!! I'd love to see the number get back down to where it was in August before I fell off the fitness wagon - and then keep going down.

Hope you're all doing well today! Hit it hard, mamas!

I am also starting C25K next week. I have also written out a workout plan to take me to Christmas. My 30DS will take me to 10th November and then, having consider other options and the fact that I hope to be in wk5 of C25K by this point, I am going to give Kettleworx a go. I was considering Turbo Fire but right now I can't keep up and get frustrated. Also not easy to get in the UK but the beachbody uk website says coming soon so maybe for Christmas. This plan works out so that I should finish the 6 week program of Kettleworx on Christmas Eve. My main aim in addition to the visible loss of lbs and inches is to reduce my bodyfat which is currently around the 37% and I am hoping that more work with weights will help.

As long as the running doesn't cause problems with my knees (I had a lot of trouble with my knees as a teenager) then I might see if I can enter myself into a local 5k on Boxing Day. I have also made a promise to myself that I will not use Christmas as an excuse to pig out - treats = yes, trough = NO!!!

Well, I had a gain this week. Hmm...I shouldve known that raising my calories and not exercising would do that. Im at 137.8. So looking back at my weight loss journal Ive noticed Ive been going up and down between 136 and 137 since Aug. 29th!! :frown: I really need to start getting serious again!! So Im going to keep my calories where theyre at (1360) BUT actually get some real exercise in this week and see how it goes.

Erykah I know the feeling! I have been between 133-136 for 2 months now!! It's so frustrating. I'm tempted to put the scale away for 2 weeks or something just to see how I do without that dang thing! I can go up and down 3-4 pounds over night. We just have to remember that the number on the scale is not the only thing that matters!!
I can wear the smallest size pants I've worn since highschool now so that has to say something???
Keep up the great work ladies!!!

Ladies, one idea to try and break the plateau is to change the ratios in your diet. I reduced the carbs by 5% and increased the protein by 5%. I am not sure whether its increasing protein, reducing carbs, or just that doing this shakes me out of a routine and focuses me on what I am eating but it worked for me last year when I lost 20lbs and got down to 129... (then came the meds this year and I gained most of it back again:cry: )

    Hi Ladies

    How is everyone doing?

I am doing really well (at last), managing to stick to my calories (although still need more protein and less carbs) and today I completed 10 days at Level 1 of 30 Day Shred and my first week of C25K.

Got a weigh in for another group tomorrow which will be the first time I have weighed in since Monday so I will be interested to see how its going.

I weigh in today at 137.4. Only a .4 loss. I think Im going to lower my cals back down maybe to 1300 instead of 1360. I just feel so deprived when they are at 1200!! What is working for you ladies?
