OK Weigh in really sucked. 263. I gained 2 pounds.:noway: So I really need to get to the gym. Setting same goals as last week to see if I can hit them.0
-
210.2 this morning, so down 1.6lbs.0

I was nervous for weigh-in this morning hoping for a loss, I saw this morning would happen. Last week I was at 169.6 lbs and this morning....166.4 meaning I lost 3.2 lbs!!!! Now I know that it is not a healthy amount of weight to lose in one week, but I think I was too bloating from Aunt Flo, it threw off my weight last week! Good luck this morning ladies and can't wait to see the losses!
Laura
ain't she a b*tch!! but then she ended up doing ya a favor!! LOL - Congrats Laura!!
Tara- congrats on your SWEET loss too!
AFM- yesterday i weighed in at 151.4 but today i am at 152.4 (the scale is always a mystery to me?!?!) But I am happy with my loss seeing as though I didn't "burn" any calories for 3 days due to my medical issue ( i will spare the details if you don't already know!!). But i'm BACK and ready to go!!!
KEEP UP the good work butterballs of all colors!!!
Thanks Jojo! How much did you lose exactly!?0 -
Dee- Sorry to hear your having such a bad week, we all have those weeks where we don't do as good as we want to. I felt the last few days as it was raining here and the temps continue to drop, all i wanna do is hide under the covers and munch my way to comfort. Keep your head high, you can do this. Take one step at a time.
Chan- Hey, glad to have you back! I guess we all have those off times. Keep truckin' along, your doing great!
NECamper- Sorry about the 2lb gain..like I said in the previous comments, we all have those weeks. Aim to meet your goals this week if you can, if not, then maybe try setting a couple you know you might make.
As for me--my only goal this week is just to stay under calorie goals. Maybe try and take a few days and stay away from the sweets! I've been craving and not been able to stay away..lunch today, i ended up having 2 frosted cookies with cinnamon sprinkles on them *drool* and my favorite cake of all time..Red Velvet! Ugh! Why can't sweets be good for you? Only way u can get away is tasting them in gum or yogurt form!
Okay, good luck on your goals everyone and your weigh-ins! We can do it! Got just about 4 weeks left time to get our butts into gear so we can have one good holiday with families knowing we worked hard!0 -

What will this weeks challenge be?
WELL DONE to all that have completed their challenges
I have just changed my set up as i have not been exercising, yes i was doing really well to begin with. i do run for the bus & walk every where. I need to find my motivation again. I will lose 5lb0 -
So weigh in is 139.8. Really? That is a 3.8 lb GAIN. I'm pretty sure that it's not real weight. I've been under MOST days, drink tons of water, got great workouts in but damn that sodium. Plus, I'm very irregular with Aunt Flo/TOM (choose your acronym) and it appears that I may be getting ready to have one. The girls positively ACHE. I think I need to stop the weighing part of this challenge. It is having an unhealthy affect on my pysche.
I'm not going to be doing an actual workout today. We have a major event tonight where I will be letting loose and tomorrow we have company coming to visit (just for a night) but have a really nice dinner planned. I will be cleaning the house/pool/yard today and tomorrow and hope to get to the gym in the morning but my body really hurts right now (knees, strained nerve or muscle in my back, leg muscles and that whole TOM thing) so I know I'll be over today and probably tomorrow. Today will definitely be over on sodium since I have no control over how things are cooked tonight.
Starting Sunday though, I will plan to workout every day for a minimum calorie burn of 400. Will stay under calories every day. Will drink 10 glasses of water every day. Will beat that sodium monster!!! If the scale moves, awesome but I may not even check!
Sorry Team Orange for not being helpful here. Donna, sorry about the SAD. My husband has it and that was a factor in our moving to Florida. Do you have a light? Get one and that can be your 10 minute "me time" (which I sucked at that too!).
Congratulations on all the losses! I'm so proud of you guys. This is a really hard thing we are doing but just keeping at it even in the face of a gain proves how strong we are.
Have an awesome Friday everybody!0 -
Hello people! Sorry I have been MIA this week. Extremely busy!
Weigh in 199.0 so a lost of .2. Need to start working harder on actual workouts. Hope to get the orthotics early next week! Then I can get a new pair of Brooks and some new black dress shoes for work.
Got my blood test results from the neurologist the other day. Low T4 (thyroid) which indicates hypothyroidism. Reading horror stories about people taking meds for it. I am looking in to going to a D.O. (natural doctor) to help with this. The one I found is highly recommended from other thyroid sufferers in my area. I just need to see how much it will cost since insurance doesn't cover.
Anyway, hope all is well with everyone. I will try to be more active and supportive next week!0 -
Thought I'd give you all a nice little chuckle here.
So I weighed in this morning after I got up and did some "business". 139.8. You know my thoughts on that already.
Ate a piece of toast with almond butter, had a glass of water and cup of coffee and did some work on the computer. Did some real "business".
Just went upstairs to get dressed since I"m not working out, stepped on the scale (see-unhealthy relationship here) and weighed 138.2!
So I guess I really was full of s**t!!0 -

HAHAHAH- that's hysterical!!! thanks for the morning laugh!!!
Laura- i believe last week I was at 154.4, so i believe i lost 2 lbs from last week (but last week was also the AF/TOM conversation we all had!!) So I believe i'm back on track and really just lost 1 lb in the week----am i making any sense?!?!?
i did PILATES for the first time this morning (another DVD from library- didn't go on machines @ a place or anything) and i really enjoyed it!!! MUCH MUCH better than i enjoyed the yoga- i can def see doing more pilates once its time to start maintaining.
happy friday- be good!!0 -
Jo... Yeah i get it and i think the same happened to me! Haha. Great job on your loss though!!!0

Hey BB's! So I did the Spartan Race. I finished, but that was the most grueling 4 miles I've ever done!! I have battlescars...some bruises and scrapes on my legs. I'm a little sore, including my behind, from going down all the mud slides...LOL. It was definitely waaaaay more intense than the Warrior Dash (piece of cake compared to SR). I dragged a cynder block, carried a bucket 3/4 full of pebbles/rocks (both w/some uphill sections), had to do 90 burpees (luckily not all at the same time)...it was the consequence of not being able to complete an obstacle. The terrain itself was an obstacle to overcome. It was super muddy and slick. One obstacle was a super steep, muddy, uphill climb at one point. This definitely pushed my body and mind to the limit. Luckily, I did the race with my brother. We stuck together and he definitely helped push me to keep going. There is also more of a sense of teamwork in this race as A LOT of people help each other through the obstacles. I was most impressed with that! I may not have been able to complete 3 or 4 out of the 12 or so obstacles, but I did the majority of them and I crossed the FINISH LINE...granted I was EXHAUSTED...but I crossed it!! THAT was the main goal I set for myself!! So I'm proud of that!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Today will be a rest day for me. And depending on how my body feels the next couple of days, it may just be some light exercise, like walking for me.
So awesome!! You are fabulous !! Such an amazing inspiring post!! It makes me want to do one too. Sounds like great fun too and awesome burn. And you did fantastic !! Enjoy your rest day you definetely need one now. Have a good weekend0 -

Hi everyone! I've been missing you! Congratulations to everyone for all of their hard work this week!
I'm sorry I've been MIA so much this week - I've been helping out a close friend, staying with her and trying to help her get through her struggles. I'm only with her one more day (after today) and then I'm coming home and getting back on track - I've still been eating quite well, and getting a teeny bit of exersize but nothing like what is normal for me. I actually can't wait to get back so I can go back to my normal routine, and start focusing on me again! I'm having surgery on November 10th and I want to be as healthy as is possible by that time.
Do we have any challenges I can jump into on Monday with you?
thanks! (((((hugs)))) to all of you!!
Sandy
Oops - and Tara - I'm down 1.2 lbs this week for a total of 26.2 lbs0 -
Hey all.
Had a nice time at our event last night and even though I didn't log, I may not have gone over in calories. Well, yes I did. I didn't do a workout so only had around 500 left for dinner but it may not have been as bad as I thought (we won't discuss the bananas foster-I needed potassium!!).
Spent the morning cleaning the entire house, been baking (help me find willpower-I have an apple pie AND caramel pecan brownies!), getting ready to clean the pool. Shouldn't be too bad today but will get back to normal tomorrow.
Have a lovely weekend!0 -
Just hopped on to glance through the progress - I see a lot of good progress
And some that are in the same boat as me - no change. I'm not updating my goals from last week as after the last time I logged I couldn't stay under my cals by as much as I wanted & some days I went a little over. I've been starving & trying to really only eat when hungry. I'm still rocking on the exercise, building muscle - no weight loss but I'm pretty sure I'm getting more solid. As long as I don't gain any weight, I can deal with this.
Not sure if there are any set goals/challenges for this week - I am upping my protein and seem to be getting in close if not over half my body weight each day, so if that's one challenge I think it's one I can actually do
Anyway... I'm still hoping I get a little loss by the end of this coming week, there is no way I can workout this hard and build this much muscle without losing some fat at the least! Any ideas?0 -
Hi Ladies! I've updated the spreadsheets to this point for the last two weeks. I'm missing a few weigh ins.
I will list them... but will probably be removing those who haven't posted by tomorrow.
TEAM BLUE....(down to only 2 active members)... we need to check on Ladybug1620 and Cuddles2523. If they choose not to check in I was wondering if you would like to join the red team to receive some more support? So...Nat (purplebutterfly) and Anita (sas16) Let me know if you hear from them and if you are ok with me including you in the Red team? They have a pretty cute team logo and all... Hope they dont mind either.
TEAM ORANGE: You all are rocking it and everyone is pretty great about check ins! Keep it up!
TEAM RED:.. I'm missing weigh ins from Callmefor911 (kym) and Jenneyd (Jenney) ...so really you are down to 2 active members as well..unless these girls check in soon! How do you feel about the blue team joining you?
TEAM PURPLE: Thanks so much for being dedicated! How lucky I am to have an awesome group!
TEAM YELLOW: Everyone seems to have checked in for you as well! Your team is doing great!
Team Pink: We are missing Shelley (aquasw16) for the past few weeks now. I know she was considering a move and a new job. Can you check on her and I will remove her if we don't hear from her. Let me know!
Other than that we are doing awesome!
As for me.... Well I've got a bit of catching up to do. lol. Vacation was amazing and though I did tons of walking and swimming...I still gained around 4 pounds. I feel very bloated...been trying to down the water, but the past 2 days home have been filled with trying to get things back to normal around here.
SO>.... since I've not posted any challenges, I'm going to actually set some for myself for the next few days until weigh in. I feel like if I don't set any...(even though it's not a whole week)...that I will give myself excuses to slack. If ANYONE wants to join me I would love it!
I promise to have new goals for EVERYONE this coming Wednesday!
Ok...so starting tomorrow, SUNDAY October 23rd...(my birthday!)... through Wednesday night...
10 cups of water daily
30 minutes of Cardio minimum daily....(actual planned sweaty exercise...not counting daily activities...)
30 Push ups per day
Under Calories daily
There... I need to get my booty in gear!! :0) Who's joining me? I know some of you have set your own awesome goals! Let me know what you're doing!! :0)
Thanks for bearing with me while I was gone. I missed you all!
Hugs,
Tausha0 -

Sandy-congrats on the loss this week and so far...that is great! as for challenges...we all made our own again for the week, and most of us are stayin similar to last weeks goals! Seeya when you get back
Nat-of course my recommendation would be to log your food everyday (just to be sure you are close to your goals at least). other than that, inches are going to show your true progress with you focusing on the exercise portion, and I would recommend you meaure at least every other week to keep you motivated with your progress...I would measure: biceps, chest, ribs, natural waist, belly button, hips, thighs, and calfs...this will give you the best idea of how your REALLY are doing vs what the scale says. Keep on movin girl!0
