The weirdest thing about your weight loss?

I realised last night that I've been pushing my glasses back up my nose for the past few days - and now it's really bugging me LOL so I'm off to the opticians tomorrow to get the arms bent in a little so they stay in place - no fun when you wear varifocals!!
My skirts are also too long now, I keep treading on the hem as I walk up and downstairs - my fat bum used to keep them above my ankles, now they drag on the floor - a good excuse to buy new, shorter skirts??!!
Hubby is adamant he hasn't lost any weight, yet when he ran up the stairs the other day his trousers ended up around his ankles!
What's the weirdest thing you've discovered on your weight loss journey??

My shoe size shrunk from a 7 1/2 - 8 to a size 6-6 1/2.9

LOL - those are great!! My pants are finally feeling looser and definitely understand about the longer skirts6

When my boyfriend and I were painting a room in our house over the weekend I threw on a pair of jeans I stopped wearing because they were ripped (not too big) since I didn't care if they got ruined. I ended up have to ask him to pull up my underwear and pants a whole bunch of times during the weekend (he wasn't painting as much as I was). It was kind of funny.7

I weighed less once before but wore a sz 6 now I weigh more and wear sz 2.....lol being fit makes a big difference :-) Although i liked that number on the scale4

Weirdest thing? My grandma told me that my "tuchus" looked tiny! I love Yiddish.11

I love these post!!!! Helps me look forward to more things I may discover myself!!! But one thing I have noticed so far... My rings slip around more (As in the stone on the ring is now on my palm, not the back on my hand like it should be!! haha5

This. love it lol2 -
I just tried the other day my stationary bike after a long long time - and after losing many kilos in between. I was wondering why I remembered that the saddle would have been more comfortable before and I realized now I don't have that "extra pillow" between my bottom and the saddle anymore. I guess I need to go to some bike shop to ask if they sell any saddle pillows since I'm not keen on growing the natural one back... :-P8

I feel taller since I've lost weight. It's probably just that my posture and confidence have improved, but since I've been short my whole life, it's nice to "feel" taller!
I hear you about the skirts. I'm having the same trouble with some of my knit pants. Not as much belly holding them up!8 -
My glasses too were too big and the new ones are feeling like an adjustment is needed.
My shoe size went from 10 to 9
Bra size 48DDD to 36 G
and just being able to move my body in new ways..its fun. I love it all.8 -
Just the realization of how much fat was on top of my small frame. Lost about 65 lbs and there's still some traces of it on my abs, they become more apparent when I sit down and they poke out.5

when I drive I seem to have more room. and the steering wheel seems farther away. My underwear keep going down time for new undies.lol6

Although I feel like I have struggled with this my whole life, I noticed that when I got within range of losing my last 10 pounds to make 135 pounds (5'51/2")I finally feel at peace with myself. I actually weigh 138.8 today and wear a size 6 in dresses and pants. I've heard so much about the anxieties of plateaus and except for the beginning where you try to convince your body that you are losing weight, I feel like I haven't really had any. I just look at the last 10 pounds and every pound now seems like a huge loss! I might decide to go lower but I'll see when I get there. I've been working on the last 10 since August and it really has caused me no grief whatsoever! I know that if I keep on plan, my body will let it all go in it's own time and so far, so good! = D I only wish that 54 year old Susan could have had a real heart to heart with 15 year old Susan to tell her that this was always a goal that was within her reach and very easily attained with perseverance and determination. Plus my work out pants got longer as I lost weight! = D12

The weirdest thing for me is my own observation of it. I have had a few people say I was almost unrecognizable to them. But, when I look in the mirror, I see me in smaller clothes that fit much better, but the same chubby girl is still staring back at me. I do see the difference in photos though.7

My skinny jeans aren't skinny anymore!!! I'm getting skinnier!7
-
when I'm sitting down and I cross my legs I'm amazed at how light my leg feels.
My arms go straight down my sides like this I I when I'm standing instead of ( )18 -
My watch with the elastic wrist band now dangles around my hand. Never considered that my wrists had gained weight over the years!7

I now look like the me that I thought I did. This caused motivation issues along the way because the picture Iheld of myself in my head wasn't as big as the reality so I feel I've reached an even keel.
I also have that problem with my rings, even worse when my hands are cold, they slip right off6 -
When I started my weight loss I have a tattoo that goes from my elbow to my shoulder. It used to just be on the arm now after losing 85 pounds it wraps around my arm and makes almost a whole part sleave LOL. Orginally I was going to have a tree put on there with the mermaid and now I have no room for it. Also my tattoo on my back raised up and is now on the base of my neck. I didn't know that tattoos moved around as your body got smaller. LOL16

My hands get cold real quick. And I noticed I needed new underware when my well you know kept poking out between the layers of fabric. Took me about 2 weeks to realized it was becouse my underware was getting to big. LOL3

I think the weirdest thing for me was my husband had his watch sitting on the counter one day, it was the kind with a velcrow band, and it was made as small as possible. I picked it up and without evening thinking twice made a comment about "who in the world would ever wear a watch this small, why would they make it be able to be this small?" He looked at me and said, "I bet you do" After a few moments of "No, I don't, never this chubby girl, blah blah blah's" I put on the watch.
Even as small as it would go, it was too big on me and slid down my arm towards my elbow. We both just laughed at my own stupidity and how funny the bickermant had been. I still don't see myself as a skinny person when I look in the mirror even though people tell me all the time I am tiny.8 -
People think i walk "lazy" No i'm not walking lazy i'm walking this way to keep my jeans on my hips instead of around my ankles!9
-
my wedding rings actually slide off my fingers, and my calves no longer look like sausages! LOL!! the little things in life we take for granted when we are overweight!4
-
are you being serious? do you have any pics? lol1

People at the hospital where I work ask me if I'm trying to lose weight or if I'm sick ! No I don't have Cancer, I've been loosing weight since March. My relatives that I havent seen in a while don't recognize me until I speak. I think I still look the same. Oh well.3
-
LOL at some of the funnier ones and well done to everyone!
On a more serious note, I actually realised that I've just walked around shops and a street market for almost 3 hours without having to stop once to catch my breath or just literally take the weight off my feet - a year ago I would have been sitting down every five to ten minutes - now that I call a success!
Please keep them coming, they're making me smile, and it takes more calories to smile than to frown !10 -
My watch used to be fitted and now its lose! Also, my wedding rings that haven't came off in 6 years can now come off and be cleaned!7

Great posts and congratulations. I can not pass in front of a mirror or a window without looking at myself:noway: ...I was so used to my previous shape :laugh:5

Strange you should say that - I have a mole that used to be on my neck, now its on my collar bone! I have a moving mole LOL10 -
My rings don't fit me anymore and my clothes seem longer. Also my shoes have gone big for me which means my foot size has probably gone down1
