I had a container of honey Greek yogurt mixed with 1/4 cup of homemade granola, coffee and water. Doesn't sound like much, but it was a great blend of carbs and protein to get me through my workout.
Now I need to figure out lunch!

What's in your homemade granola if you don't mind sharing? Do you know the nutritional info for it?

I will pull out the recipe and post it for you tomorrow.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo I had 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg all scrambled with a 1/4 cup mixture of black bean, corn, red onions, and cilantro. I topped it off with shredded 2% cheddar cheese and spicy green salsa. Yummy!
That sounds sooooo good! Makes my steel cut oats and egg white/turkey sound so boring!

Again I had the turkey sausage flatbread (280) from dunkin donuts and a coffee (35) but today the guy behind the counter put 4 munchkins in my bag without me knowing....... I wish he wouldn't have cuz I ate one and threw out the rest, came home logged in the calories and that one munchkin was 75 cals!
My fault I will need to budget the rest of the day better now
    So far
    Breakfast -390
    estimates- lunch 250 -dinner 450 -snacks 110

Sorry it took me until this morning to post my granola recipe! The ingredient list is a little lengthy, but it is very simple to throw together, and it makes a HUGE batch.
    Amy's Granola
    4 1/2 c rolled oats
    4 oz (1 c) sunflower seeds
    4 oz (3/4 c) flax seeds
    3/4 c applesauce
    3 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp ground ginger
    1/3 c maple syrup
    1/4 c honey
    3/4 c brown sugar
    8 oz (2 c) whole, raw almonds
1 tsp kosher or sea salt
    2 tbsp canola oil
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 c dried cranberries
    1 c raisins

Preheat oven to 300. Mix everything except dried fruit in a large bowl. Spread the mixture between 2 large baking sheets and bake 40-60 minutes. About 20 minutes into baking time, stir the granola, then stir every 10 minutes after. You want everything to be evenly browned. Remove from oven and allow to cool, then stir in raisins and cranberries. I have found the easiest way to do that is to put granola back in the bowl you mixed it all in, add fruit and give it a good stir. Store in an airtight container. The granola keeps for a long time. Makes about 13 cups. (26, 1/2 c sevings) You can change up the dried fruit in this...blueberries are really good, just so darn expensive!

    The skinny on my granola:
    serving size, 1/2 c
    236 calories
10 g fat (all good fats, so don't let this number scare you off!)
    31 g carbs
    4.37 g fiber
    15.6 g sugar
    5 g protein

40 calorie a slice bread? What brand would that be?

    My breakfast was

    1 serving of Trader Joe's O's
    skim milk
    banana
    coffee.

    Snack has been

6 oz of no fat Greek yogurt, mixed berries, slivered almonds. Yum!

This one was Wonder light wheat bread, but normaly I eat Sara Lee 45 cal whole wheat, and its real good!

I used to eat Nature's Own bread and I believe it was 40 calories each slice, now I have moved onto Healthy Life fiber bread and it is 35 calories per slice.
