I'm at about 230, and highest weight was somewhere around 260 but I'm not completely sure since I avoided scales like the plague.0

My starting weight was 300...I weighed last week after a week of doing my lifestyle change have lost 1 pound....at least something is showing.0

I started in august at 215. I am now down to 202. my biggest plateau to get over was 205.
I am 5'5" and 20 years old. My goal weight is 130 by Christmas Eve [my 21st birthday]

I started my journey in August, 5 months after giving birth to my second daughter. When I decided to do something about my weight I was 240 pounds. I am now down to 215 pounds, trying to get back on track since the holidays! MFP has been a great tool, i have found great encouragement from reading peoples success stories!0

I am at the heaviest now than I have been, I am at 224. I have not really been that active until I quit smoking (in Oct). It took my sister getting sick and dying of cancer to finally get me to quit. I joined the gym in Nov. I work out an average 3 to 4 times a week about and I usually spend a couple of hours working out. I am starting to get a little frustrated because I am not losing any weight but I know I also need to change my eating habits.....One day at a time I guess, one day at a time....0

Yep, there are plenty of us over 200 pounds. I began my weight loss journey at 273. I'm now around 215, and have made the goal to get under 200 this year. Good luck to you, and everybody!0

Started 1 week ago at 268. Now at 266. Dreaming of getting to 140 and been busting my butt on the elliptical every day to get there. I work full time and have 2 small kiddos that I really want to run and play with!! Someday soon Mommy is going to sit pretzle-style on the floor with them!!!!!!!!!!!0

WOW!! There are a lot of us! I am currently at 243lbs. Kind of stuck. When I started I weighed the same. Lose 10lbs... gained it back. Sat on my butt for a while. Now I'm back!!!0

Hi. I started out at 289.5. Lost 30 lbs. on my own then joined mfp. I have lost 41 more since joining. It is not a diet it is a life change. I am 52 years old and this life of being overweight has taken a toll on my body. High BP, diabetic, arthurisits, bad joints etc. Since losing this my blood sugar is better than its ever been, they have taken me off all BP meds. My legs and joints are not as painful. I feel good and pretty again. I love to dress up and look good again. I have a lot more to loss and will not give up this time. I am at a stand still right now and it is hard not to get depressed but I will keep on keeping on. Good luck on your life changing journey! Feel free to add me as a friend!0

Hello! I just joined yesterday. I was 225 about a year ago and I got down to just over 200 but now (thanks to the holidays!) I'm back up . My body seems to do well at 175...even though I'm 5'4. I have a large/muscular frame and at 175, I'm a 10-12. I try to focus less on the numbers and more on how my clothes are fitting.
