Nothing...it's only 90 calories. But then again, I get to eat up to 1490 calories a day, so if I missed 90 for the day it wouldn't be a big deal because I'm still above 1200.0

Cottage cheese. It is good slow release protein to sleep on.0

Mitts unsweetened apple sauce-the one with starfruit in it. Delicious!0

2 hershey kisses! The best! :happy:0

A piece of fruit... it can satisfy a sugar craving w/o the empty calories, lots of vitamins/antioxidants, extra hydration, and helps cleanse the digestive tract while your sleeping too!0

do 25 Squats..... 15 deep pushups........ and as many REAL crunches as you can stand........
Then stop, take a minute to 'feel the burn' of all that...... enjoy and realize
A: you just worked hard at something to get you to your goal.....
B: you aren't HUNGRY!......
C: just because there are "leftover" calories doesn't mean you HAVE to eat them!
Take a hot bath and go to bed! Your body will love you in the morning for the 'fast' and you will sleep better without your digestive system being 'in gear' working while you rest.......
Good Luck...... hope this helps0 -

I have been eating these Jamba Vanilla Strawberry Jubilation Yogurt & Sorbet bars. They literally taste like ice cream treats, only 80 calories and very healthy! Nice snack. Walmart has them, pretty cheap and they come in a package of about 8 or so. Really Recommend them!0

Yoplait fiber one no fat yogurt-50 cals and 6 almonds-40 cals. You get fiber, protein, calcium and some good fat.0

I have a bag of crunch "dibs" in the freezer. I grab 2 or 3 and savor them. Along with some water!0

To the person that put that you don't eat past 9 pm, your body doesn't know what time it is so it doesn't matter when you eat.0

This misinformation in this thread just saddens me.
avoid carbs because it's night time?
stop eating because it's night time?
:noway:
Agreed. I am amazed at how many people still think that it matters what time you eat, or what kind of food you eat at night.
I love your profile pic btw!0 -
As i mentioned...... my recommendation of not eating later in the evening was to aide in a good restful sleep.,.... absolutely nothing to do with fat burn or storage!0

This is a great thread... I've gotten a lot of wonderful snack ideas that I hadn't ever thought about.
Here are a few things that I would normally have if I'm hungry and only have a few calories left:
- light string cheese and a few almonds
- a couple of gherkins and a slice of deli ham
- one Chobani Champions ("kid-size" greek yogurt)0 -
a few strawberries, or a fiber one bar that is exactly 90 calories but only if I have carbs to spare.0
-
Whatever you're in the mood for if you're hungry.
what if im in the mood for burger and fries?
ice cream?
Just the thought of eating those at 9pm makes my heartburn jump up expectantly.0 -
Love a 1/4 cup of frozen yogurt... depending on brand, anywhere between like 30-70 calories!0
-
Ohhh, those look good. Thanks for the ideas!0
