i am officially back on track today!!! i promise!!!!!!!!!!! logged my junky breakfast already....boo
We can do it, we can do it, we can do it!!
Being gone for two weeks was really hard. No access to internet. I wasn't bad, just not keeping track.
yeah,i went to a buffet, i tried to keep track, but at least i had 3 servings of veggies, i had carrot soup, mashed potatos, salad, etc, etc, etc!
It sounds like you at least tried to make healthy choices which is a good step!0 -

Back to work (and MFP) after a loooong weekend - got a message before I left work Friday to meet the hubby at the lake as soon as I got home, didn't get back to the house until after 9:00, after 10:00 before I got showered and stuff put away. Back out at the lake Saturday and Sunday........makes for a long weekend, but a fun one. :glasses: :glasses: Gotta enjoy summer while it's here - after Labor Day the weather gets too iffy.........:grumble: :grumble: Ate pretty well, and didn't overdo, but didn't get on the scale this morning. t'll be interesting to see what the scale at Curves says tonight......0 -

Good luck!!!!!:flowerforyou: You'll be just fine!!
I had a delicious 630 calorie Hungry Man Lasagna for lunch, man was it GOOD!! I enjoyed every second of it, still have kickboxing tonight and that'll be about 500 calories off right there!! Should have no problem making the 50 calorie goal today (cross my fingers)0 -
Hey chickapoos! I did ok over the weekend, stepped on the scale this morning (and I'm jinxing myself here by bragging, lol) but I've dropped 2 lbs since Thursday... We'll see if it holds up through until weigh in this Thursday.
Maybe the weightloss is due to being scared s**tless on a daily basis:laugh:   I've been riding shotgun to my 15 year old, while he's practicing for drivers ed. I have almost stomped a hole through my floorboards by slamming the imaginary brake, and I think there are nail marks on the door handle, because I have a death grip on it through most of the ride. I know he's gotta practice, but sheesh, learn to stay between the lines kid!0 -

I remember those driver permit days - so glad they are done....at least for 2 more years....then my son...... :noway: :huh:0 -
So I met today's challenge and then some. It's 10:04pm and I have over 350 cals to consume... not gonna happen. I went for my 5.3km walk and burned 445 cals. I'm having chocolate milk now to bring that down a bit or up or whatever.
Hope you all did good too.0 -
I did great on my calories yesterday...I drank the 96 oz of water I was shooting for too...today will be 100 oz!!!0
-
I was about a hundred calories under yesterday. Give or take... I was guestimating sizes for dinner, so I may have been closer than it appeared:laugh:
Fiber today. I'm usually ok on it, so it shouldn't be too much of a struggle.
Nikky, you must really truck it when you're walking to burn that many calories. I'm impressed!0 -
stayed under my calories yesterday (with the 300 I got back from the gym) and I drank 90oz of water - shooting for 100oz today! (thanks for starting the water challange thread chrissy!!)
I usually have no problem with the fiber so today's challange should be a breeze and I'm going to exercise again tonight.0 -

Hang in there Pettmybunny.......he's probably as scared as you were, but he'll never admit it!  I taught both of our daughters to drive - one with a Chevy Tahoe and the other with a 3/4 ton extended cab pickup. Needless to say..........they both learned very quickly to make wide turns and pull thru parking spaces rather than having to back out of them!!! Wide turning radiuses SUCK!! At least you're letting him practice BEFORE drivers ed - First time I drove was the day before I started behind the wheel drivers ed-my mom took me out in the hay field the day before I started and that was it - I actually learned to drive IN drivers ed with an *kitten* teacher:grumble: . He was a complete jerk, but I survived it and have (probably gonna jinx myself) never had an accident in 30+ years of driving. Speeding tickets, of course, but no fender benders:noway: !
Scale at Curves last night was the same as last Wed; 127!!! I can live with that for awhile, I know it's gonna continue to get harder to lose because I'm FINALLY getting closer to my goal:bigsmile:
Have a good day, all! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0 -

Whoohoo I finally met a challenge!!! I had 108 calories left over...man I love kickboxing!!!!
Fiber challenge shouldn't be hard at all for me, I usually meet my goal and then some.
Chrissyh, ACK!!! North Carolina?! I couldn't take the humidity when I was there UGH!!! Mind you, I come from Wyoming, where we've never heard of humidity....I do kinda miss the state though, had some great times during MOS School in Lejeune drinking at Emerald Isle every weekend, fishing, etc., beautiful state...and I miss the people. But NOT the humidity!!! :grumble:0 -

lmao well ty, but sadly thats what i looked like the first time i lost all the weight....hopefully i get the same results this time around....the baby weight seems to be a lot harder to lose than regular weight :ohwell:
Those d@mn kids. You carry them around in your belly for 9 months. And when they come out, they just keep getting bigger and bigger. Next thing you know it's 18 years later and you have 190lbs of baby weight
ok sorry. I'm being a smart @ss.:ohwell:0 -

LOL... No, his drivers ed class was the first time driving, besides down the long driveway once or twice. After driving two hours with his instructor and 10 hours classroom time, he got a pink slip that lets him drive with a parent. After he's done with the class (24 hours) and 6 hours of driving time with the instructor, he takes his final and gets his actual permit that lets him drive with anyone over 21. He has that for 60 hours logged driving time (or 6 months--not sure exactly) then takes another written and a driving test for the DMV.
I have to admit I lost my cool today and was kinda screeching at him. He didn't even see the car in front of us put on their brakes (Aaack number 1), then went to get into the passing lane without even checking his mirrors or blind spot (Aaack number 2), was driving through the marked parking spaces instead of the driving lane once we got into town (not so bad, but Aaack number 3 because I was already stressing), then was going to turn left in front of right of way oncoming traffic (Aaack number 4), was going to run a red light because he wasn't slowing down on the yellow--and it had been yellow for a while and he said he didn't see it (Aaack number 5), then slowed down to 5 mph at the next stoplight, because he thought it might turn yellow (again, not so bad, but I was stressed, so Aaack number 6). All in a 15 minute drive, about 7 or 8 miles.
It's a good thing that I color my hair, because I don't wanna know how much more gray I am by the time he's done! :laugh:0 -
Hello ladies! Just checking in today! How is everybody doing? I havent been on in the last several days, sorry! I missed you all! You guys are always my entertainment for the day!
I'm trying to catch up, what are our challenges this week?0 -

I thought about having a few margaritas before they drove, but a lot of their early drive-time was to and from the high school, where I was also working at the time, so that would NOT have been good:noway: :noway: I can just see the headline....."JCHS Head Secretary terminated for being intoxicated at 7:30am in office"  :laugh:0 -

Personally, you had me a "margarita".:bigsmile:0 -
I am at 24g of fibre if I eat the dinner I have planned and 69 cals shy of my daily allocation if I work out to burn a minimum of 454 cals (which is what I burned during my walk yesterday). Close one today. I need 1g to achieve today's challenge. :ohwell:0
-
I'm 4 grams away... was thinking ice cream and mango slices for a snack later.... but it won't put me at 25 for my fiber. Maybe I'll just have a fiber one bar instead...
Oh! I just remembered I have fiber one pop tarts in the cupboard. Maybe I'll heat one of those and have a scoop of ice cream over the top  (Can you tell I really want the ice cream?)0
