    met my hubbie on a trip with a friend to visit his sister.... i know complicated.... fell for him there and then, got engaged 2 weeks after meeting, but to keep my mother happy we waited 3 years till we got married, just had our 34th anniversary in january, and i still love him to bits

    Dated for 3 years, and now married for 11 years...the last 3 years have been the best because he moved out 3 years ago (so we're technically separated). We get along great now. I can talk to him and no longer feel the urge to kill him.

    Got engaged after 6 months (at age 18), but waited 2 1/2 years to get married. Been married almost 22 years. Full of ups and downs but what marriage isn't?

    We started dating our senior year in high school and got married at 21 (4 years later). We've now been married for 18 years. I have gotten to spend 22 awesome years around the best person I know. She is my partner, friend, counsel, love and lover.

    You give high school sweethearts good backup! I've been married almost 11 months, dated since high school and for 4 years before marrying (at 20)! I hope to have many more, just like you!

    Wow- enjoyed reading the other posts. I got engaged to my husband about 2 months after we met, married 6 months later; We've been married 12.5 years now. Marriage is difficult, but also very rewarding- keep your individuality (and patience) and you'll make it!

    March 16th was our 5 year wedding anniversary and we will have been together for 9 years in November. Marriage is not easy, but he is SO worth it!

    Been together since February of 1992 and got married August 1993. So altogether, 20 years. Definitely love him more now than I did when I married him but not near as much as I will in a few years. :)
