I've never done this before so I'm gonna give it a try!! right now I'm trying to do 2000 so I think I'm going to start lower than the 3500 for my first time...

Tues: 385 (20 mins treadmill and 20 mins zumba)
Wed: 280 (30 mins hip hop abs) ** so far not doin so good... some of you people amaze me with your 1000-2000/day!!!

You are doing GREAT! You still have 4 days to burn 1875 calories which is VERY doable. Can you increase your workouts by 20 mins the next 4 days? If so that will bring you closer to your 3000 calorie goal. Remember the objective is to push YOURSELF and not to compare yourself to others. Some of us have been working out for a while, used to be former athletes or like me JUST INSANE LOL...not really but I am doing a challenge wherein I need to burn 5000 calories a week which is a PUSH for me. Just keep pushing yourself and add in little 10-20 min workouts where you can. GREAT WORK SO FAR!0 -

Love the support offered here and I totally agree! It takes a lot of work and time to burn those high levels (I know, I used to!) so don't worry or compare yourself to others. This challenge is about setting a goal that works for you and celebrating when you reach it. You're getting moving every day and that's wonderful - you can still reach 3,000. Try and if you don't make it, no biggie, try again next week! :happy:0 -

Goal=3500 cals Running total=1530 burned so far
Monday: Body Attack aerobic class/plyometrics (60 min., 350 cals); Rowing machine (15 min, 100 cals)
Total=450 cals
Tuesday: Spinning (55 min., 380 cals); Pilates, tai chi, and yoga (60 min, 150 cals)
Total=530 cals
Wednesday: 4.1 mile run (45 min., 470 cals); warm-up/cool-down walking 10 min., 30 cals); rowing machine (10 min., 50 cals)
Total=550 cals (don't know how to calculate cal burn for lifting...)
Thursday: Spinning and Yoga...to be continued
Friday: Run (4 miles)
Saturday: Spinning
Sunday: Long run (6-7 miles)0 -

Actually... i was doing 200 calories per day.. so rigth now im very proud of myself cause... i increased and im felling very good about it!!!! And you are right am gonna take this one as an example.. either way i´ll try to make 500 cal in the next 3 days... i´ll let you know!!0 -
Hi! I am new here and just found this thread. I haven't thought of a calorie burned goal, but will next week for sure. Here is where I am so far this week:
Mon: 1417 (biking 17mph)
Tues: 1942 (biking 17mph in the morning and then another ride at 10mph with my daughter)
Wed: 1642 (biking 17mph)
Thur: 1642 (biking again)
