The more appropriate question would be what shouldn't I do with won ton wrappers?

The are like cresent rolls you can use them to bundle up anything! From cheese to meat, friut to nuts. A tsp-tblsp of virtually anything, a little water to seal the edges, light spray of cooking spray, pop them in the oven. Yummie snacks.
  • look up recipes for shrimp or crab wontons (also called ragoons)
or spray them with zero calorie oil spray and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar bake or broil them for a very short amount of time they get super crispy like chips yum!

I don't know if anyone else did it to, but I seriously thought you had won(like in a lottery or something) a ton of wrapping paper:laugh:

Ive been experimenting with wonton wrappers,
Wonton Pizza Cups ( 12 servings)
    24 wrappers
    1 cup Newman Own Marinara
    2% Mozzarella Cheese
    24 slices Turkey pepperoni
    24 slices of mushrooms
    1 Roma Tomato (12 slices)

Spray a 12 slot muffin pan w/ cooking spray.
Layer- 1 wonton, 1/2 tbsp marinara, 1 pepperoni, 1 slice tomato, 1/2 tbsp cheese. Then repeat but instead of tomato add the mushroom. Bake on 400. for about 15 or so minutes. Through the MFP reciepe builder it has 114 calories per serving.

I have been planning to use them for making wraps.. Cut up sticks of cooked egg/ tofu, Avacado, carrots, sprouts. Add a little salt and pepper. Roll them up and cut into bite sites... Serve it with soy sauce, with some chili garlic sauce in it.

I fill them with a little bit of Nutella, fold them over and bake until golden brown. Sprinkle with a little powdered sugar and you have a WONDERFUL dessert!

After making the taco won tons, we liked them so well I bought 2 more packages of wonton wrappers today! I want to make pizza ones and also want to try my regular wonton recipe that calls for ground pork, water chestnuts, soy sauce, onion or powder and put them into the muffin cups instead of frying like I usually do. The taco kind were even better the next day! Wish I had some made right now!
