Lately I've been on a peanut butter toast kick. One day last week I used an Arnold Multi Grain sandwich thin and put a scrambled egg, a piece of turkey bacon and 1/2 oz smoked cheddar on it. I kept them in the refrigerator and microwaved them for breakfast. It was a nice change.
Before peanut butter toast I was on an oatmeal with 1/2 banana, walnuts and maple syrup kick-- aka banana bread oatmeal.0 -
During the week, I typically have one of the following:
GNC Total Lean Shake (vanilla bean or blueberries & cream)
Better Oats Oat Fit Cinnamon Roll or Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal (with blueberries or sliced apples)
Egg whites with parmesan cheese and 2 strips turkey bacon
On weekends, I typically make omelettes for breakfast, or throw eggs, cheese, and turkey sausage into a tortilla.
Here are some breakfast pictures I've made in the past.
Scrambled egg whites with parmesan cheese and turkey bacon, strawberries and grapes
Egg whites, mozzeralla cheese, turkey bacon, red & yellow peppers on a low carb tortilla, pineapples and strawberries
strawberry yogurt, strawberries, mandarin oranges and Special K bar
Egg white omelette with spinach & mozzerella cheese, turkey sausage, strawberries & kiwi

One of my favorites and only 253 calories. Whole Wheat bread toasted, spread 1 T of peanut butter on it. Place 1/2 of a sliced banana on that!
Also, good is the same, but use PB, then applesauce, and 1T of wheat germ.0 -

I have a few options for my breakfast. One is a high energy oatmeal. I use Coach's Oats, 2 T ground flaxseed, 1 T chia seeds, a handful of almonds, half cup frozen berries. it is super yummy and filling and comes at 366 calories.
Second option is what I call happy scrambled eggs and it is 1 egg and then egg whites scrambled and then I add red, yellow, and orange bell peppers, about a quarter of an avocado, and a slice of Ezekiel toast, that is under 300 calories.
Another awesome breakfast is the Herbalife healthy meal which is a super yummy protein shake and I add a variety of ingredients to keep it different and tasty and that is under 300 cal
Hope that gives you some new ideas.0 -
Great thread idea.
Love a smoked salmon scram -- 3 eggs with chopped smoked salmon and cream cheese added just before it is done. Just don't overcook and it is awesome. Add peppers/onions or scallions to taste.

I have a couple of slices of heavily seeded toast, one with marmite, the other one with either cadbury's philadelphia or a very good vintage marmalade.
Only have a tiny amount of skimmed milk in each cup of tea, so the 75ml of milk that I log at breakfast covers me for all day.
Marmite - Spread, 4 g 6 calories
Morning Glory Fat Free Skim - Milk, 75 ml 25 calories
Hovis - Bread - Seed Sensations (Rich & Roasted) Toasted, 2 Slice - 44g 244 calories
Kraft - Cadburys Philadelphia, 16 g 46 calories
Total 321, delicious and very filling.0 -
Allbran with milk and half a banana about 264
Homemade toast and a poached egg about 210 (depending on weight of bread)
Peanut butter on toast or a crumpet about 200

My fave...and it lasts until lunch...
1 Multi-grain sandwich round (thin) 100 Calories
1/3 cup liquid egg whites 50 "
2 oz Isernio's Chicken
Breakfast Sausage 65
Toast the sandwich thin round. Put the browned sausage crumbles in the pan and cook for a minute or so, until hot. Pour in egg whites and cook on low until done. Put on the toasted sandwich round and tada! you have yummy breakfast sandwich for only 215 calories.
I always crumble and cook the breakfast sausage, weigh it, then put it in sandwich bags in single servings and freeze it. If I'm ravenous in the morning, I use 1/2 cup of egg whites and more sausage, then account for the extra calories. But, for 215 calories to start, you could add a cup of sliced strawberries for only 50 more calories or lots of other stuff under 100 calories and still be about 300 total.0 -
Scrambled eggs ( 1 whole, 1 white only), fat free shredded cheese, mushrooms, diced tomato. Around 300 cal. Delish!0

2 tbls of Pace Picante salsa medium
So delicious! I put some of the eggs on the english muffin, top it with one slice of the turkey bacon, and half of the salsa. Then mix together the rest and eat it. Very good and has a nice kick to it.
