2 or 3 fried egg whites cooked with cooking spray on a toasted and margerined whole grain bun that I make myself. Then I dip in ketchup and have it with a cup of coffee.

Sometimes I make a green smoothie with unsweetened applesauce, banana, spinach, berries, water, stevia, and ground flax or chia seeds.

This morning I had a slice of Trader Joe's California Style Protein Bread, toasted, and 1 Tbsp. raw almond butter.
I had Full Circle Chai Tea with Stevia, too - made the almond butter all melty.
Some mornings I have a whole grapefruit with 1/2 c. plain nonfat yogurt. Yummm!

I have been eating the same thing for breakfast for years and somehow still haven't gotten sick of it. I make an egg white sandwich with the equivalent of 4 egg whites (I buy them in the carton) on whole wheat toast, and add a Kraft fat free singles slice or a laughing cow wedge. Most days I have a banana with it, and a cup of coffee with skim milk and sweetener. This breakfast keeps me full for hours, and comes in at about 350 calories, depending on the type of bread you're using.
  • I am making french toast...it has 308 (give or take a few depending on which syrup you use). It's fun to spice up breakfast... homemade banana nut muffins are great too!
  • I get up TOO early for breakfast, so

I make what I call my Breakfast Soy Latte

1/2 cup of unsweetened soy milk
    1 1/2 of black coffee
and 1 packet of breakfast essentials.

    179 calories

    My flavor is chocolate.

    It's got everything I need!

If I am feeling like it I will add a pack or two of splenda and ice which makes it creamy

I eat a serving of steel cut oatmeal (my particular brand is 170 calories) and I add in 1 oz of blueberries (14 calories) and a packet of splenda. On the weekends if I'm feeling too lazy to cook oatmeal on the stove then I just have a bowl of cereal (anywhere from 110-180 calories) with 1/2 cup of skim milk (40 calories). Nothing exciting but it allows me to have an extra snack somewhere in the day if I want it.

2 eggs, scrambled with a variety of veggies-- one day I added asperagus, another day it was mushrooms, yesterday it was leftover spinach/mushroom mixture with a bit of garlic added and a bit of hot sauce for a kick. I spray the pan with pam or use a bit of butter. Saute the veggies first then add the eggs. It is easy to make- only takes about 10 min which is important to me too.
  • Well, I usually vary my breakfast.

    1st option:
-porridge made with low fat milk and 1 tbsp of honey
-a fruit (usually apple, half of a banana, a few strawberries or nuts)
-coffee or black/green tea sweetened with 1 tbsp sugar.

    2nd option:
-30g low fat meat (bresaola or light ham)
    -melon or grapes
-simple scrambled eggs seasoned with oregano and dried thyme
-coffee or tea sweetened with 1 tbsp sugar

    3rd option:
    -25 grams brie cheese
    -a few nuts or 100 g grapes
-coffee or tea sweetened with 1 tbsp sugar

    4th option:
-pastry (pancakes, croissants, bagels) 1 serving
-1 small piece of butter or jam to go with the chosen pastry
-1 fruit (try low calorie: pear or apple)
    -coffee or tea

    5th option:

-1 yoghurt fat free or Greek yoghurt
-2 spoons of musli or oats
    -a banana
    -coffee or tea

    6th option:

-25 g ricotta cheese or cow cheese
    -1 tbsp honey
    -1 sugar free biscuits
    -coffee or tea

There are many ideas, try searching for breakfst/brunch recipes on cooking sites like Good Food.

Lately I've been on a peanut butter toast kick. One day last week I used an Arnold Multi Grain sandwich thin and put a scrambled egg, a piece of turkey bacon and 1/2 oz smoked cheddar on it. I kept them in the refrigerator and microwaved them for breakfast. It was a nice change.

Before peanut butter toast I was on an oatmeal with 1/2 banana, walnuts and maple syrup kick-- aka banana bread oatmeal.

During the week, I typically have one of the following:
GNC Total Lean Shake (vanilla bean or blueberries & cream)
Better Oats Oat Fit Cinnamon Roll or Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal (with blueberries or sliced apples)
Egg whites with parmesan cheese and 2 strips turkey bacon

On weekends, I typically make omelettes for breakfast, or throw eggs, cheese, and turkey sausage into a tortilla.
Here are some breakfast pictures I've made in the past.

One of my favorites and only 253 calories. Whole Wheat bread toasted, spread 1 T of peanut butter on it. Place 1/2 of a sliced banana on that!

Also, good is the same, but use PB, then applesauce, and 1T of wheat germ.

  • I have a few options for my breakfast. One is a high energy oatmeal. I use Coach's Oats, 2 T ground flaxseed, 1 T chia seeds, a handful of almonds, half cup frozen berries. it is super yummy and filling and comes at 366 calories.
Second option is what I call happy scrambled eggs and it is 1 egg and then egg whites scrambled and then I add red, yellow, and orange bell peppers, about a quarter of an avocado, and a slice of Ezekiel toast, that is under 300 calories.
Another awesome breakfast is the Herbalife healthy meal which is a super yummy protein shake and I add a variety of ingredients to keep it different and tasty and that is under 300 cal
Hope that gives you some new ideas.

Wow reading you guys posts makes me feel like Im not eating enough at breakfast time. I usually just do a pack of instant oatmeal OR instant grits. Sometimes a carnation breakfast drink, or my favorite......a Chobani Greek yogurt. Its always only 1 thing and of course my water.

I have a couple of slices of heavily seeded toast, one with marmite, the other one with either cadbury's philadelphia or a very good vintage marmalade.

Only have a tiny amount of skimmed milk in each cup of tea, so the 75ml of milk that I log at breakfast covers me for all day.

    Marmite - Spread, 4 g 6 calories
Morning Glory Fat Free Skim - Milk, 75 ml 25 calories
    Hovis - Bread - Seed Sensations (Rich & Roasted) Toasted, 2 Slice - 44g 244 calories
    Kraft - Cadburys Philadelphia, 16 g 46 calories

Total 321, delicious and very filling. :)

Homemade toast and a poached egg about 210 (depending on weight of bread)
Peanut butter on toast or a crumpet about 200
    Sometimes add a yogurt.

My fave...and it lasts until lunch...

    1 Multi-grain sandwich round (thin) 100 Calories
    1/3 cup liquid egg whites 50 "
    2 oz Isernio's Chicken
    Breakfast Sausage 65

Toast the sandwich thin round. Put the browned sausage crumbles in the pan and cook for a minute or so, until hot. Pour in egg whites and cook on low until done. Put on the toasted sandwich round and tada! you have yummy breakfast sandwich for only 215 calories.

I always crumble and cook the breakfast sausage, weigh it, then put it in sandwich bags in single servings and freeze it. If I'm ravenous in the morning, I use 1/2 cup of egg whites and more sausage, then account for the extra calories. But, for 215 calories to start, you could add a cup of sliced strawberries for only 50 more calories or lots of other stuff under 100 calories and still be about 300 total.

    Breakfast today:

1/2 cup of Egg Beaters Southwest
    1 Sara Lee's 90 calorie english muffin
    2 slices of turkey bacon
2 tbls of Pace Picante salsa medium

So delicious! I put some of the eggs on the english muffin, top it with one slice of the turkey bacon, and half of the salsa. Then mix together the rest and eat it. Very good and has a nice kick to it.

comes to around 170 calories. I also used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray.

During the week it's usually Multigrain Cherrios with half cup of fat free milk
