I am literally crying tears of laughter here. :laugh:0

I guess we can't accuse you of being full of **** now.0

No way to be absolutely sure unless you bag it up and weigh it.
Just keep some little freezer baggies by the toilet.0 -
:noway: That's a humongous deuce MY GOODNESS you must have been gaping after taking the browns to the superbowl.0

omg what a conversation. lol. Haven't read all the other posts, but I have done the weigh yourself after a bowel movement thing, and I never notice any difference. I go every day though. I would be worried about the going only once a week thing, you said you've had a colonscopy but have you seen a specialist or just your GP? I'd be taking a serious look at your diet. And as far as madworld1's comment about bagging it up - omg, gross!!!! LOL0

I know she is being serious. Which is why I feel bad for laughing, but the responses in here are hilarious.0

Bump for later reading, my family won 't believe this thread (we always talk about this *kitten*).0

lmfao ... this thread just aint right. if ur only taking a dump once a week something aint right & i surely wouldnt wanna advertise or make a joke out of it... O_O...
buttt uhhh yeahhh once a day every morning is normal for me & i usually see a weight difference ... so i record my weight after.0 -
This is the funniest thread I have ever read. I am crying I have laughed so hard.0

Google Dr. Schulze Intestinal Formula. Your weekly scenario sounds like many people in the literature that comes with the formula.0

if your only pooping about once a week your backed up about around 21 meals. pooping 3lbs so your pooping couple of meals at a time thats gonna hurt. it should take around 24 hours for your food to digest.
i dont like supplements so trying to supplement plant fiber is stupid can make things worse.
from what you posted your diet has no plant fiber at all and your going to need a lot of it. the best plant fiber i would say is leafy green veggies like kale and spinach raw cause cooking, cooks the fiber light cooking is ok and just eat a ton of fruit make a green smoothies. good luck0 -
I would be curious to know what your daily diet consists of? How many calories you consume each day?
well i eat about the same thing everyday
for breakfast i have a frozen breakfast biscuit thing with bacon egg and cheese and vitamin water with miralax and benefiber in it
lunch: turkey sandwich and some chips and maybe half of a can of pop
dinner: today all i had was a piece of bread but usually chicken and rice or spaghetti---you know, real dinner lol
thats about it
Whoa, no veggies? You need to eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and fruits, for one thing! try that!
Yeah, this.^
You say you "tried" fruits and veggies, like they're medicine or something. Eat them. Everyday. Several times a day. And drink plenty of water. Caffeine also helps move things along, as I'm sure you know. So does a teaspoon full of olive oil on a empty stomach. I recently started taking a daily dose of 250 mg of magnesium to cope with my IBS, and within a week I felt amazing. I went from once every 4-5 days, to 1/day.0 -
Wow, 8 pages of replies to a girl boasting about her ginormous poop.0

I would be miserable if I only went once a week. Just the thought of everything I ate for a whole week sitting inside of me would be enough to make me take laxatives or enemas. I used to be severely constipated, but once I started eating a lot(around 60 grams) of fiber a day and drinking a ton of water, I started having perfect BMs everyday. BTW, am I the only person in the world who goes at night?0
-
yah just once a week....not sure why, I had a colonoscopy and use fiber supplements, maybe just nerves? But I usually average once a week!
EDIT: but you're gonna have to start eating fruits and vegetables! Your diet is really bad!0 -
sometimes I've weighed more...and I do not know how that is physically possible. but i go way more than once a day.0
-
Okay. Although this does smell (pun intended) like a bait thread, I'll bite. Put me in the corner with those recommending more fruits, veggies, water and a different doctor. FWIW, if I don't eat fruits, the gates only open every three days. With fruits, especially raisins, it's a daily half pound encounter. Good luck! Ciao, Marc0

This is unbelievable. :laugh:0

That is insane! I've never heard of someone pooping once a week. Not like I talk about it with my friends or anything, but that's just crazy! Does your doctor think that's normal? I always thought normal was pooping at least once a day. Your poor colon! I do weigh myself after my morning poo, but really 3lbs? lol I'm fascinated with this conversation....
I once had a similar problem I go about every other day so I asked my doc is this was normal and she said anything from 3 times a day to 3 times a week is normal, so I'd definitely get this checked out.0 -
this thread is hysterical!0

To the OP:
Actually, that's about accurate. After urinating, a person tends to lose 1 lb and after defecating, they tend to lose 2-4lbs. Weird how much things weigh in our intestines, right!?0 -
If you go only once a week, that turd better weigh ten pounds.0

My friend's dad is a (now retired) gastroenterologist. his personalized plate was "go lightly" (however it was he spelled it)
This is also my favorite topic of the day. along w/ the weightloss BS topicwell the first time i went 10 days without pooping and ended up in the hospital, they did x-rays and a CATSCAN and couldn't even give me and enema because I was so backed up........... so I had to drink 2 gallons of this nasty laxative and **** for hours ever since then I haven't pooped normally and the doctor says he has no idea what it could be, just that my colon isn't functioning correctly
OMG -- I bet that 2 gallon laxative was "GoLytely", right? My dad had to take that and it was a nightmare for him (he almost went to the emergency room because of that stuff). However, it turned out to be a major part of the cure for his chronic constipation. His doctor prescribed one round of GoLytely followed up by a daily dose of Miralax and Metamucil.
He's been doing his "M&M" regimen for over a year and has been perfectly regular since (for the first time in over 30 years).
He has also decided to name his next boat, GoLytely :-)
LOL on the "Go Lytely" boat! I am an NP (In a hospital) and I saw a patient who had a colonoscopy the day before.....he told me "when they came in with that HUGE bottle of stuff to drink I thought I was getting punked! I kept looking around for the cameras, like are you serious??"

PS: I'd be careful with "Dr. Schulze's Intestinal Formula #1" Looks like several stimulant laxatives in one "formula".0 -
This thread is great!0
