Seriously dude, you're a true inspiration. I would even settle for reaching your "skinny fat" stage but you've shown us you can go so far beyond that. And more importantly, without freaking out about math, without fad-dieting, without jumping on bandwagons or falling for scare tactics or working out every waking second. It's an honor to call you a friend.

I wish I could report this thread for sheer awesomeness. You are what this website is all about, make no mistake. You are encouraging, dedicated, and accomplished. There isn't anyone left on this site to send you the friend request, because you've befriended d a m n near everyone, and find time to encourage them all. Congratulations, Brett. If anyone deserves this more, I just haven't met him yet.

I am writing this as a fellow comic book nerd, video gamer, and hero asipirer.

Brett, you are so much cooler than Superman, Captain America, Green Lantern, Thor, etc. You didn't need a special experimental injection to buff up, you didn't need to be born on some other planet, or be given some dumb *kitten* ring, you just worked your *kitten* off and became something extraordinary. I guess in that way, you are Batman (which is BAD *kitten*). On top of these HUGE successes, your amazing transformation, you eloquent writing skills, you have made it all look so effortless. You are the most well rounded, down to earth six-packer I have ever followed here on MFP. You make room for Pizza and Pad Thai, you hit the gym but it's no big deal. You are kind, SO KIND and down to Earth and GENUINE.

Brett, you deserve the world man. You are going to be one hell of a fire fighter. I am so so proud of you. Congratulations again.
