Weigh or measure your food...what do you do?
I am looking for a surgery date in June. Trying to learn from others tried and true methods for success. I think weighing food is more accurate. I feel it is just too easy to fit one more piece of food in the measuring cup. How do choose your food amounts? Why?

I think it would be a great idea for us to share some recipes! I always need some new ideas for my kitchen creations! I try to eat mainly chicken or turkey for my protein, and after a while it gets kind of boring. New ideas would be great for all of us I think. This is one that I found today that I am going to try out this…

Post-surgery-Foods you can no longer eat.
I'm 5 year out from RNY and I used to love all kinds of seafood, but now I can't eat any kind, no matter how it's fixed without it coming back up. So I don't even try anymore. I also can't eat a scrambled egg but can if it's hard boiled or fried. It's got something to do with the texture I guess. Like drinking sodas I know…

Chronic colds - suggestions, please!
I have had one cold after another since Christmas. My doctor had me on two rounds of antibiotics and one of steroids. Two weeks after finishing the last round of Augmentin, the cold is back (or another one has moved in). This isn't just sniffles - it's stuck in bed, hacking and coughing, nasty. Just a little background: I…

HOW DOES YOUR SPOUSE SUPPORT YOU??
Ok so I totally stole this topic from the message boards, HA! But I think it is a great topic to discuss here in our group.
