I do most of my workouts at home so I typically just yell at the last person to not put things back aka The Husband. That being said the gym should help you. Find a worker and tell them it's to much weight for you to move by yourself. They have liability insurance for a reason. As far as a spotter I haven't seen a need yet…

We share a memory scale that keeps track of two people so yes he can at anytime push mine and see my current weight but I would tell him even if he asked.

I adore my pt4. My zumba instructer has one and mine tells me 450 on average for a class and hers tells her about 800. She's way more intense then I am and we figure it's about spot on. I know it's much better then the monitor for my eliptical. Just make sure whatever you have comes with a chest strap.

I'm new to lifting heavy so I've been going by the book. I've made a few modifications but those were mostly due to old injuries.

No I was 103 pounds when I married my husband. I fell down a flight of stairs and did damage to my back. Wasn't able to walk well for almost a year. Gained 10 pounds. I had surgery and then an 18 month recovery of no exercise. I was very active until then. I was told I couldn't do any of the things I loved to do and…

Yep I count it.

If it makes you feel any better my husband was navy for 9 years. He failed the test every year. He's had his body fat measured professionally. The navy would fail him and the test would come back at 12-16 percent. He's a body builder. The navy method says I'm 30 percent, the scale says I'm 30 percent. Calipers, and most…

I started doing push ups on the deep freeze, moved to the low bar on the squat rack (I have a home gym) and by the end of stage 1 I can do half a set on the bench and the rest on the squat rack. I"m still not on the floor so don't feel bad! I HATE prone jackknives. They are the bane of my existance lol.

Not really, I use it more as a guideline. I have to say though I'm so very glad that I'm not the only one who adds chocolate syrup to their protien drink. I am allergic to some sugar subs and I won't allow any sugar subs in my or our sons diet so it was a PITA to find a protein drink but I did fing a vegeterian option…

I'm 5'2, 30 years old, 131 pounds and 20-23percent (depending on method used to test). I'm aiming for 125 and 16-17 percent body fat.

Do it. I'm smaller but I have back issues so I can't do some of the spinning/jumping but it's a great cardio work out. I have a HRM and even with the change ups I"m still burning 500 plus cals a session. I agree with PP don't talk yourself out of it before you even get there. Go , you'll love it.

Home. Hands down. We already owned most of the equipment for my husband so I just told him "I need the gym from this time to this time on these days".

I was beginning to feel like that. I slipped and pinned my ankle between my running board and my car (ouch) so I took a week off to let the soreness heal up. My first workout after that week was awesome. I agree if you need a break take one. Don't use it as a week to be a bum. Do some walking, find a pretty hike. Then get…

8 pounds. I'm up to 15 and 20 pound db's on workout 6b.

I just aim for it and refuse to kick myself when I fall short. I rarely make protien and usually hit fat/carb. But I've more then doubled the protein I was eating 2 months ago so it's getting there.

Yep ask for a new trainer/s. Don't feel stupid. We own a squat rack and I had my husband walk me thorugh our equipment (I"ve never touched his free weights) I was very lost and finally demanded that he use it and let me watch. I'm glad I did because it was not the way I was thinking you use it. :blushing:

Another vote for tea. I was a serious Mt. Dew drinker and over a period of 3 months I'm down to a half gallon of tea a week and no soda.

I do everything at home. We already owned a squat rack with pulley system but I think I spent 80.00 dollars on some standard weights and a yoga ball.

Guess I should introduce myself. My real name is Kassandra. I'm married to a workalchoic , can't spell to save my life, and am the mother of a darling little boy who is pretty sure he's the boss. He's 3 so I"ll let him keep his delusion a little longer. I'm usually the joking one in the family. I put little substance on…

Yep we bought ours for dirt cheap from a "looking to sell" ad.

I bought a sole but straight from Sole and not from sears. Most of the reviews I read seemed like people who put it together and didn't quite know how to read directions so we bought the upgrade where they put it together for us. We've had it a little over a month now and it gets heavy use. My husband does 1.5 on it every…

I shop spring and fall most years. This spring I bought in new sizes (happy dance) but it equaled out at about 25 pounds but I only had 35 to lose so 25 was 4 pant sizes for me.

Gap Body had some cute stuff last week when I wandered in on a whim.

I know you said you'd see a doctor but I'll state it anyways lol. Talk to your doctor first. Disclaimer over. I ruptured a disk at 20 falling down a flight of stairs. Due to having military insurance I was denied xrays for months and ended up with slight nerve damage and a removal/non fusion of the L5 disk. I'm not…

Boobs are just weird peroid. I went fro a 32 DD at 110 pounds to a 32 DDD at 135 pounds (no idea what size I was before I started losing weight). I'd be happy do see that DD again. Mine have never been perky and now with losing weight and b/f my son for an extended amount of time I'm thinking my mid life crisis is a boob…

Under arms and thighs I noticed straight away. Your thighs are looking much smoother.

Sign me up! I may never leave the gym either. Do we get to consider that a NSV :drinker:

I love Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Limited. I'm not much for trendy but I like things that feel and look classy. I'm 30 but this hasn't changed much for me in the last 5 years.
