You're like a different person. Great work!

I've had no trouble running 5ks without any water at all (and I'm not nearly athletic either).

Do you understand BMR and TDEE? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/512956-tdee-what-is-it-and-why-you-should-not-eat-below-your-bmr

You can try breads by 'Food for Life'. They are way more nutritious than regular bread.

I have ASICS, give me really good balance.

Every day.

I had a gene test done a couple of years ago which gave me risk factors for 2 dozen different diseases. I am apparently high risk for obesity (duh!) and 60% of it is genetics, 40% environmental. This was not totally surprising given my family history. My dad has always been active, plays tennis 5 days a week even at 65,…

Bump!

I'm vegetarian... not a scale avoider since I started doing rolling averages rather than following up daily ups and downs. Welcome to MFP :)
-
My PB is just under 32:00, so the next target is to get to 30 mins. Also, everytime I do go out, I aim to finish 5k :)

Congrats on your hard work!! Amazing and inspiring!

Honestly, unless you've done some form of therapy and it hasn't helped, there's no way to tell. I will repeat the formula of meditation and exercise for emphasis, and throw in a recommendation of talking to a therapist :) Even simple deep breathing for 5-10 mins while focusing on your breath coming in and out really helps.…

Some good suggestions... thank you. I will probably go with the upper body weights for the moment as I can't swim :) The hand cycle isn't a bad idea for the future either. I'm trying to rest the knees. I ran 5km+ 3 times in four days, never having run that far in my life. I have soreness around the kneecaps and the joints…

I love the Asics as well. See if you can go and try out 2-3 different brands someplace. Not every brand works for all sizes and shapes of feet.

Just awesome!! You're scale, the scale is just one measure.

Good riddance!

First time for everything... my nipples feel raw today. Going to try vaseline and these compression tops.

I can't see a single reference to 130 calories in that article. Where did you get that from? The gist seems to be about not eating but having the drip feed you all through the day.

I'd be more impressed if 'Mark Hamill' was spelled correctly.

Simple fat free milk is the perfect protein source.

Congrats! You look like a different person altogether! I do get the part about MFP taking the pressure off by having a structured place to keep everything, I totally feel the same way.

The Kinect will give you better cardio than the wii ever will.

Very inspirational, both getting your life back and losing the weight. You look great!

No need to be that defensive dude. And no, I don't get diarrhea with the amounts I consume. Like I said, If you can stand the taste, have fun with your super duper protein bars.
-
I really wanted to like these but I find the taste to be totally gross. If you can stomach the taste, then good for you :) I'd also rather have sugar alcohols than sucralose (Splenda) and avoid the 75% more sodium compared to most other bars on the market.

I like the Balance Bar Carb Well Bars for a morning snack, only 2g of sugar, 8g of protein. I find it helps me get the energy up without the sugar high and drop. The Kashi Go Lean cereal has 13g of protein for every cup of cereal. Good way to get it early in the day.

Sounds crazy. I've been eating in that range all through my time on MFP, have lost 22 lbs. I'm a man though, but that number still sounds crazy.

Do you have a iPhone or Android phone? You can use either Endomondo or Runkeeeper to track distance and calories.

I'd love to see watching Martina Navratilova do sell, she's simply awesome in my opinion.
