Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Define 'big loss'. You lost. Don't be disappointed. I would love a 1.6 pound loss this week.

I doubt you gained weight in your mid section from heavy lifting. You will burn fat from exercising thought, regardless of the type of exercise. Just keep on eating healthier, keep up the exercising. From articles I've read weight loss is more from burning more calories than you consume versus exercising a lot so make sure…

Do your best to eat as near to the suggested calorie intake since eating under it didn't seem to do much. What did you eat yesterday? I've noticed what I eat the day before my 'official' weigh in day temporarily gives me a gain. i.e. chinese food, pizza, eating out at a chain restaurant...things that may be higher in…

Every day is the same for me. Some days I need to play 'catch up', like entering my breakfast at the same time I'm updating my lunch, but it's all the same to me. I do understand where you are coming from though.

Once a week.

Just added you!!

I was curious also about the 1200 calories a day. Great job on the 5 pound loss!!
-
Thanks to you both!! I already have my workout stuff in my car so I wouldn't have that excuse! Haha

If it's something like a steak or a burger I've always weighed after. I always felt that I'm eating the cooked weight on things like that. The other posters have valid points though.

This may sound odd, it did when I first heard it, but try brushing your teeth when you feel the urge of stress eating. I've tried it and it's helped out some. Not EVERY single time, but it does help. What's the worst that can happen? You'll have healthier teeth and gums? :)

To also add. One thing that I do that helps me A LOT is having a food scale at home. Are you weighing/measuring your servings accurately?
-
Thanks!! Never came across this on MFP before....I'll check it out a bit more.
-
This.
-
Good luck! I think my best investment was a food scale...

I always have to follow the topics that start off by saying "If you have nothing positive to say then don't respond at all"...
-
I finished in the top 25 in the Chicago marathon 4 years running!

Stop looking at it as a 'diet'...to me, diets mean that you are restricting yourself from eating certain things. It's all about portion control and how you look at what and how much you are eating...take a deep breath and start with small changes at first so you don't feel bad the following day and binge.

She laughs too much :)

Made you upset?
-
Ha! Meant for the woman above you.. :)

Looking pretty hot!

She was obsessed with people that are obsessed with barns.

I agree....just because it's a holiday doesn't mean that I won't track. Just make sure to enjoy the day!!
-
Yeah, that's what I kinda thought too....had a physical in the summer, but doesn't hurt.
-
Thanks again everyone for the advice...I will be cutting back on the sugary junk and eating better and see how it goes...
-
Thanks everyone for the responses...sorry it took me a bit to come back to respond. To answer a couple questions...stress, yes, work related actually, and unfortunately with a candy jar nearby, my stress turns into a little stress/candy eating, but I then, in turn, do my best to allocate a some for that. If I don't 'stress…

I have a bad habit of not tracking my water but I have been drinking my 8 glasses a day. I'll try uping my intake...maybe that will help.
-
With it being the weekend, I'd almost consider a trip to the ER depending on your health insurance. Maybe that would be a little extreme, but depending on how ling this has been going in.

This. Don't look as this as a 'diet' but a lifestyle change.
