  • I don't use it for eating, I use it to make sugar scrub for my face, feet and body. It's highly moisturizing and natural. I also use it in place of lotion. I have really sensitive skin and I am allergic to EVERYTHING and it works great and is a lot cheaper than some manufactured "hypo-allergenic" products. Coconut and Lime…
  • I take a green tea supplement 1-2 times a day, early in the morning and then again at lunch, simply because I am a caffiene addict and it does suppress my appetite. Everyone is different. Do I rely on it? Not at all. But does it seem to make my dieting a bit easier to live with for the short term? Yes. I don't believe in…
  • I completely understand. I have a lot of loose skin on my upper body, mostly because my breasts were very large and as I lost weight they really deflated. I am really bothered by my saggy "armpits" and the backs of my arms. I fully intend to have a breast redux or lift and depending on how everything else looks, I'll…
  • This is so my body type... I wish I had more booty and less boobie. I joke that my butt got confused and grew in my love handles instead.
  • I don't like a lot of the patterned tops they have out there, they are usually ugly. Solid colors, and I personally like blue, purple and green, and black bottoms. Also, neons aren't something I would ever buy. I prefer pants and shorts with a fold down waist or a drawstring, those stay on MUCH better. If they could make…
  • The loose skin will tighten back up, it will never be like it was pre-baby, but it won't be sagging forever. Just give it time and lots of bicycle crunches. :D Use a good lotion and keep your skin hydrated, a lot of people swear by coco butter. Also stretch marks will take a long time to fade too, easily 2-3 years.…
  • I plan ahead. Sometimes I even log all my meals the day before. That way I know what to eat, when to eat and it takes the guess work out of it. I will even log my exercise calories in advance so I am not tempted to over eat after the gym.
  • I love Zumba because of all the squats and lunges you do with the moves. If you drop it like I do, you get a really good strength workout for your legs while doing an aerobic class. I have seen a huge difference in my muscle tone since I started class. It also improves coordination and balance, which is great for keeping…

  • Weights first, to maximize your well rested muscles ability and gain more in the process, then cardio, which will be harder with tired muscles, and thus, burn more calories.
  • Because I am 5'7 and in 6in heels I tower over a guy under 6ft tall. All of my serious long-term relationships have been with guys 6ft+.
  • Coffee and eggs... breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
  • More is better, boost your fresh fruits and vegetable intake (cantaloupe, bananas, avocado, and raisins and nuts are all great and easy to incorporate sources) and when logging make sure that part of the nutrition info is included (people tend to leave it off when entering new foods). Don't worry about hitting your goal…
  • Thanks everyone. I don't eat beef or pork and I am generally not a meat eater, except a bit of chicken or turkey. I love fish but it's kinda pricey to eat everyday and doesn't keep well. I've considered protien shakes but eww and I feel like they are a waste of my hard starved calories. I like cottage cheese and I eat that…
  • My biggest problem in my butt seems to be confused as to where it's supposed to grow. Oh guru of exercise knowledge, how do I squish my love handles into my bum cheeks?
  • Knights of Cydonia by Muse. The rhythm of the song keeps you moving fast. And the whole Confessions on a Dance Floor album by Madonna. When I hit my goal I am going to send Madge a thank-you letter with pictures.
  • I am 165 (started at 210) and 5'7. My goal is 145, but really I just want to be a size 8 or less and toned. The number on the scale is only a guideline. I just want my thunder thighs to stop jiggling when I walk! :P When those 3 things happen I will consider my goal weight met.
  • I have the Shock Absorber. Cost $70, but I can run with out my knockers knocking me out and it's super supportive. I am a 34FF or H depending on US or UK sizing. I use Herroom.com.
  • I don't know how "hairy" you are, but I personally prefer a man being natural. However, some men are super hairy, and I think if my mate were that way I would approve of the occasional shave or trim.
  • Oh, I forgot to mention that you should only make enough for about 1-2 weeks. Since it doesn't have preservatives it can "expire", though the lemon juice is acidic enough most bacteria wont grow for a while. I use it for my whole body and the recipe above lasts me about a week used daily.
  • Make my sugar scrub. I use it for my face and whole body and I can't tell you the last time I had a break out. And I was a zit farm before. Start with - 1 cup white sugar (you can half it with salt if you like) Add - about a tablespoon of coconut oil warmed to a liquid if you have it, if not, just add a bit more olive oil…
  • Hmmm, it has been over a year since I had blood work done. I was told the last time I went in that I was flirting with being pre-diabetic. I changed my eating and lost a lot of weight since then but maybe it's not enough.
  • My whole family is obese, and even my best friend is. I made the decision to change for me, and I know that no matter what I do, they wont. This is something you have to do 100% for yourself. They say I am an inspiration, but then they go out to dinner and eat 2000 cals in a single meal. Be supportive and offer to help…
  • I am in the same boat. I've bought selected items, a couple pairs of jeans, a few new shirts, new gym pants and work slacks. I am proud of the weight I have lost and I wan to show off my hard work! Toss out or donate the too big stuff, you aren't going back there. I still have a few FAT pair of pants that fit ok with a…
  • I've found if I eat a carb rich breakfast I end up starved before noon. If I eat a high protein breakfast with eggs ( I make my own egg mc muffins with a little microwave thing I bought, or sometimes I eat eggs and turkey sausage) I don't get as hungry. You need something a bit more substantial than just carbs because your…
  • You look amazing. I joined a little bit before you and had roughly the same amount of weight to lose as you did. I kinda slacked off at my half way point. If you lost 70lbs in under a year, I know I can reach my goal. THANK-YOU for being an inspiration!
  • How long are you going between breakfast and lunch? I had the same issue but I was eating at 6 or 7am and not having lunch until noon or so. Try adding in a mid-morning snack. You should be eating every 3 to 4 hours. I like a banana or yogurt or cheese and crackers.
  • Christina Hendricks. She has a super hourglass figure like mine, except she's probably 30-40lbs less than I am now.
  • I take them and I haven't noticed a huge difference, my nails seem to grow a bit faster, but I have low iron anyways so maybe they just get me closer to the normal.
  • I wear a good underwire and stick a sports bra on top to mash my girls down to prevent some bounce (but they still do). I am a 36-38G and it is so hard to find bras. I shop for mine online on a couple different sites that send me email when they have sales, 25% off makes a big difference when your bra costs $60-80. Just…
