Yummm to the idea of 35 calorie bread with peanut butter and a banana on top. I made that for a snack a few hours before reading this and it is fabulous. I have been making a smoothie for breakfast with 1.2 cups of a frozen strawberry, blueberry and raspberry mix, 1 cup of spinach, 7/10 of a cup of yogurt, and a tablespoon…

You can do this without surgery! It will be difficult. It will be slow. It will be worth it! I came here when at 21 I had to deny an anniversary trip with my husband to an amusement park because I was correctly concerned with my ability to fit in the rides. I considered investigating a surgery because I felt I didn't have…

I want to work in non-profits that aim to better women's lives. I am leaving it as open as that at the moment. I don't work right now, but I am going to school and volunteering to reach that goal. I'm aiming to let my feminist ideas guide my career path.

I just started going there. I'm a broke, out of shape college student so it works for me. I don't have the money for super pricey gym memberships, nor do I need an extensive amount of freeweights or a crazy amount of classes. The free pizza thing is funny. I just make sure to get out of there early on the first Monday of…

Chilli is great! It is an awesome opportunity to throw in some bell peppers, jalapenos, or other veggies for a great mix. It starts to have issues when loaded with sour cream, mass amounts of cheese or mass amounts of crackers.

I love stationary bikes. I have a bad knee so it is something that was gentle on my knee but provided a great calorie burn.

Sending a friend request because anyone with a cat in their profile picture has to be a good person to have on your friends list ;) Lol, the support really does help.

Personally I would go for the bike, unless you enjoy eating back a good portion of your exercise calories. If you eat back most of your exercise calories, a HRM might be better. I myself am I huge fan of bikes. For me they are perfect because of the high calorie burn with a low impact. A cheap one does the trick. I got…

I deal with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. I started meds at 12 and spent a year in and out of the hospital at thirteen. When I went into the hospital the first time I was trying to cope by not eating. During that year a combination of new meds and replacing a lack of eating with binge eating I gained nearly 100…

I was raised in Illinois but moved to Milwaukee last year to go to UWM. Feel free to add me and we can try to make it through the nightmarish winter that lies ahead.

Buying new pants. I HATE shopping for pants. It's so dreadful. Also having to pay for new clothes. I'm just going to get a few necessities at the thrift store until I get to my goal weight. I also lost my pants while getting off of the bus the other day. Thankfully I was wearing a baggy hoodie. It was half embarrassing and…

I did 3 sets of 20.

I did mine. Two sets of 20 and one set of 15. I have never tried kale, but here its supposed to be super good for you. And whether an avocado is a fruit or a vegetable you need to eat one! Warning- if you eat one you will become addicted!

Also coping with Sons of Anarchy...pretty much the only thing getting me through today

I did my 50. Two sets of 25 with a minute break between. I'm having a frustrating/upsetting/depressing day too. Right now I'm coping by crying :/

A day late, but I did my 45. My goals are simple this week, but the week I'm having is making it hard to stay on track at all. 1. At least two servings of fruit and 2 servings of veggies a day 2. Track everything, even if it isn't pretty 3. stay under calories

Sounds good to me.

My last weigh in was September 5th. I weighed 236.9. Today I was 235 even. I'm ok with 1.9 pounds in 9 days. I'm now down 10.6 pounds since I started 40 days ago. My new mini-goal is to be in the 220's by this time next month.

I did my 40 first thing this morning. I did two sets of 20 with a minute and a half break inbetween. I don't usually do breakfast, I do more of a brunch. I am an awful person early in the morning so I like to sleep past normal breakfast hours. Part of my brunch was good-I had half of a pear and half of an apple. I also had…

I used to not be a dog person. My husband is not a cat person. Well, prior to our relationship I had my cat Maxwell. I always told him that the cat was there first and if he didn't learn to get along with him I was going to have to break up. Needless to say he learned to love the cat. We recently thought it would only be…

Started a thread but deleted it when you posted this one. Gets confusing when there are several floating around. I did mine. I did a set of 20, took a minute break and then did the other 15. I may or may not participate in weigh in on Sunday. I'm trying to do all the right things and am under calories every day but have a…

Please share :) I LOVE pumpkin anything.

Absolutely! I do it for several reasons- A- veggies have calories B- I am working on increasing my fiber and potassium intake. I couldn't even come near those goals without veggies C- It's really fulfilling to look back at your day and see how well you did with eating healthy food I agree with the log everything comments.…

I did mine at 4. I had to do 20, take a 30 second break and then do the other ten. Today was the first day my thighs really felt it. My current veggie love is corn. The student association did their annual corn roast which started a corn craze. Right now the local sweet corn is in season, super tasty and ridiculously…

I literally just bought a mini stepper. I'm going to try it out. Have to come up with more exercises to do in my small apartment as its getting pretty cold here. It's hard to find apartment friendly exercises. Anything that requires jumping just wont fly, so I figured a mini stepper would be a cheap, space efficient…

Got my 30 in today. I had to do a set of 20 and a set of 10 with a 30 second rest between the two. This was the first day my thighs really felt it.

I think on my super crazy Mondays and Wednesdays I am going to sneak into one of the lesser used bathrooms and do my squats there, lol. I also think I'm going to do the Bolton workout. Bolton is the tallest building (9 or 10 stories) on campus and has the widest staircases. On my breaks I am going to just run up and down…

Hope you don't mind that I put a check-in thread up for today.

Sorry for checking in a day late. I did my squats but was on my phone and cant get to the groups. I had a bad day foodwise. My dinner was four ounces of pork chops, half a cup of instant mashed potatoes, and two homemade zucchini pancakes.
