Supplementing with selenium - OK to take with L-Thyroxine?
A quick question for folks taking a selenium supplement - when do you take it? The maker of mine suggest taking it on an empty stomach in the morning so I am wondering whether it is OK to mix it with L-Thyroxine or whether it is better to take them separately.

No gluten allergy but feeling better limiting gluten - what gives?

When do you take your supplements?
I have Hashi's and supplement with iron, Vit D ( had a deficiency discovered in spring ), Vit Bs and fish oil. Plus I eat a brasil nut a day for selenium. Does anyone know whether it matters when I take them? ( apart from the fact that I should not mix my thyroid hormones with the iron supplement )

exercise to counterbalance cycling
I cycle 15 km a day on workdays, more or less half of this distance is with a baby carrier in tow. My legs ( tights and calves ) tend to go bulky / muscular quite quickly - what sort of exercise would you recommend to keep them toned but slim? Thanks!

Thyroid drugs when you have your thyroid tested?
My previous doctor always told me to refrain from taking my thyroid drugs when I had my blood tested. The new one says I should take them because so he can see whether my body reacts to them(?). What is your experience?

Healthy "trigger" foods - how do you cope?
I generally eat healthy - no junk food, mostly home-cooked stuff. But I have what I call "trigger" foods that eaten in moderation are considered healthy ( e.g. nut butters, dark ( > 80% cocoa ) chocolate ) only in my case I struggle not to eat too much once I have them in my cupboard.
