Nutrition label scanner
Are use a prepared meal plan for weight loss. And none of the foods are logged in your database. I don’t have a problem adding these manually, but it would be so much easier if I could scan the nutrition label to get all of the nutrition information logged in.

Bring back some sort of Newsfeed.
I tried “community “ when I joined, a few times after and recently. It is hard to feel engaged, negativity is a thing and much more tedious. I so, so, so miss the daily check-ins and inspiration from my friends. It is/was what set MFP apart from others.

Add "Medical Conditions" to help tailor nutrients.
Certain conditions require less or more of certain nutrients that might be considered abnormal for most but necessary for some. I.e. POTS and Sodium. Someone with pots might need to consume more salt than what's healthy for others. There are other conditions that impact the diet that MyFitnessPal might flair despite it…

Differentiate Recipes from Meal/Food functionality
There is very little difference in the end result for users who create a Recipe vs a Food, making the separation sort of useless at the moment. Here are ways I’d love to use Recipe functionality: - Save a recipe’s ingredients AND directions - Edit the ingredient list (and directions) from the food log, not just the More…

New tabs in daily log
It would be nice if you would add tabs in the food log that are separate for blood sugar readings and medication and when it was taken. Being able to see my trends with food and meds would be so helpful for us diabetics. I now have to use a couple of apps that all sync and it’s really frustrating. This would truly make…

Weekly Review for the Current Week
I really like the weekly review of calorie/nutrient intake, but it would be great if I can see how I am doing mid-week rather than only be able to see the previous completed weeks. I searched the app to see if there was a way to do this and I wasn’t able to find anything like what I’m describing, but I may have missed it.

Automatically Determine Meal to Log to Based Off Time of Day
I would love it if the app would automatically determine which meal to use based off the time of day. Maybe you could set the hours that pertain to a specified meal. For example, if I log something at 2pm, often the default meal is breakfast but I’m not logging to breakfast. I usually forget to change the meal (especially…

Normal burn calories
One thing I think should be added is when you burn calories over time, not just when you exercise, because I run around a lot because I have siblings and that burns calories but it doesn't show up on the app and then I have to eat more calories and it throws my app off. Can you please add this into the app?

Added sugar
MFP needs to add an "added sugar" category instead of just total sugar. I see this has been suggested many times before.
-
Add water intake goal
Add a water intake goal to MFP

Meal planner & shopping list
I currently plan my meals out on a different app & generate my shopping list from the meal plan. However, then I have to re-log all of that food again (once I eat the meal) on my fitness pal. It would be really helpful for me to stay on track if I didn’t have to log everything twice. Can there be a meal planner platform…

Add custom check-in in App
It appears that you can only use the web interface to check-in custom tracking categories. I would be nice to be able to check-in on the app, and/or being able to run reports of these custom tracking categories in the app. I am tracking my blook glucose.

Omad
Option to fast track for a 23-1 hrs plan , so eat in a 1hr window. It’s pretty standard.

24 Hour Diary Log
Hi I have a suggestion please and hope it will be considered. Backstory: Im on a weightless journey. The thought is why are food logs on a day to day basis? As in if I had a bad day and overeat I draw a line under it and start again next day.... What if I don't want to do that and want more control over it? Sometimes I…

Being able to create new recipe using a portion of another already created recipe as an ingredient.
For instance, I created a low fat/low sodium buttermilk ranch dressing. The recipe makes 16 oz. I would like to create a low fat/low sodium potato salad using 1 oz of the recipe for the ranch dressing, but there's no way to find it in the search box. My only alternative is to create a "Meal" which makes say, 5 servings of…

Vegan
hey it would be great if we could take a survey and based off that survey customized foods for the week appear. Also a vegan category would be great

Suggestions
Reinstate water logging. (But don't do like Omo and arbitrarily assign extra calories to fluids.) Visible streak counts, on the dashboard. Weight losses showing up on the profile activity feed would be far more useful than "you got five hugs". Make it possible to visit your friend's community profile/activity feed from…

Copy a recipe
I have a few recipes that I will make with just one variation. For example I make Eggroll in a Bowl monthly. Sometimes I use ground pork, sometimes ground chicken. There are some pretty big differences in the macros depending on whether it is ground pork or ground chicken. It would be great to be able to take a recipe I…

Is there a way to change the intermittent fasting timer to countdown instead of up?
I’d love to see how much time I have left instead of doing math.

"My Pantry" section for saved foods
I often find myself searching through much of my history just to find one item that I had several days or even weeks ago. I'm always worried that it will fall off of the "recent" list and then I'll have to do lots of searching to find it again. It can be difficult to find my regular known items -- the ones that I actually…

Voice activated
Yes- please please add voice activation to add to food log! It would make it so much easier!

Keep column titles in view on food logging screen
I would love to be able to see the titles of the food macro columns when scrolling down. I have to keep scrolling to the top to figure out which numbers I am looking at.

Quick add - please add a row for fibre
I’ve been exploring the gut health feature this week in which we are encouraged to track fibre. However lots of the nutritional inputting for individual foods has poor fibre data so that recipes or snacks have ‘no fibre’. eg pecans - listed as no fibre. I’ve cooked a meal from a gusto box this evening and can’t add the…

Make pre-logging easier
Hello, I eat the same breakfast almost every single weekday. I would love there to be an easier way to pre-log food, for example, logging my breakfast for multiple days at once instead of one day at a time.

Make Log in optional
The periodic need to log-in I find to be a nuisance. My food and exercise data does not need to be password protected. Recognizing that some may cherish the secrecy, could we please have an opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of the periodic login? Thank you so much, in advance, for fixing the only thing I dislike about your…

Weekly Digest needs to link to other info
The Weekly Digest is moderately helpful, but it could be extremely informative if the numbers were drill ins. For example, my WD for last week shows I had 10 sweets and snacks. When I look at my food log I am not seeing 10 that should fall into that category so I would like to be able to click on that stat and have it show…

More "Nutrients tracked"
Two suggestions.. 1. Can you add "Net Carbs" to the list of nutrients tracked. Take Avocados for example, around 12g of carbs per pear, but only 2.5g are useable, the rest are fibre. For someone looking for a low carb diet I was keeping away from Avocados as I thought they were "high" carb. Turms out they aren't as most of…

Breast feeding calculator
Alot of the population are breast feeding (which uses over 500+ calories a day!), there is nothing to calculate this into daily calorie amounts on myfitnesspal. This would be a great feature and make the app safer for Mums & babies.

Create a "Calorie Bank"
It would be very useful to have a calorie bank that tallied over/under calorie intake for the day as well as any additional calories burned due to extraordinary exercise. The bank would accumulate the variance from the goal over time. This would let people bank calories for an upcoming splurge or lower intake for a while…
