    Happy Monday fellow losers!

Becky- thoughts go out to you and your son. I hope his finger turns out ok.
Stephanie - I hope you're sin geeks better and you all can go on your trip.

The scales are down! I'm not sure how much though as last week when I had a gain after working so hard I didn't write that number anywhere. but I have gotten past 210 which is a number I haven't been able to beat all month! I'm so excited think I may avoid weighing myself every day from now on. It makes me so inconsistent in everything when I watch the scale so closely. I did a lot if things this week as far as walking around fairs ab and shows and such. will have to find some more active things to do this week. And I'm definitely going to keep drinking my fruit water. if I work really hard this week I wonder if I'll get really close to my Easter goal. I have 5.6 lbs to go. I beat I could do two or three.

    Sw 223
    cw 208.6
    Egw 203
    ugw 135

Off to work. I'm working in retail and that definitely helps me get moving around. Probably the best weight Loss blessing so far is getting this job.

Good morning, everyone! Happy last week of the challenge, and I am amazed at all the losses we've seen so far :)

Becky, so glad the news looks good for your son. Two years ago, my son had a motorcycle accident and nearly lost his middle finger after skidding through a field with the handlebar pressing down on his hand the whole way. The tendon was severed and the skin pretty much gone. He had a wonderful hand surgeon who repaired the tendon etc, but they were worried that with so much debris embedded that they could not get to, he might have to have the amputation. God was with us, and he was able to keep it. He lost just half the tip, and has complete use of it. I will pray your son has the same wonderful outcome.

Rachel, I am wishing you joy when you try on those jeans and they FIT!

Welcome Vicky and AgentOrange! Glad you're here, and hope you'll join us for the Fourth of July challenge B)

Janice, belated Happy Birthday! I haven't been on for a few days - you miss SO much if you miss a day...we went for our stay at the casino and about 6pm I started getting a fever and every bone in my body was aching. It was a terrible night and my husband wanted to take me to the ER but I said no. Took two showers to bring the fever down, and luckily had Motrin to take, but this weekend has been no fun. The fever came and went all day Saturday and the bone aches were constant. Feeling better this morning, TTL.

Off to work - stay strong and healthy this week!

Connie, thanks for the encouragement. I started fresh this morning and have eaten well and did a spin class and walked 2 miles. Just hope the sugar intake last evening does not make me crave junk this afternoon. Just going to stay busy and in control.

Good luck everyone with the last week of our Easter challenge. I will not make 20 because I started late but at least I have lost.

We're all in the last week push to meet our goals for Easter. I went up 1.5 three days ago and am just hanging there. Hopefully it'll be willing to drop off so I can still claim my 10 lbs. If not, I'll just keep working at it.

Good luck to everyone! :) Safe travels to all who are on the road or in the air!

Happy Monday everyone :) I've been MIA posting here for a couple of weeks unfortunately. I need to catch up on everyone! Last weekend we went out for a couple of small meals and I inadvertently tripled my sodium intake on Saturday :s. Woke up Sunday morning swollen up like a puffer fish and 6 LBS up on the scales!!!! Needless to say, no weigh in for me last week LOL. Today I'm down 1 for the past two weeks so it looks like I'm now a member of the half pound a week club, but that's okay with me. With less than 10 to go I knew it was coming....... I'm down a total of 18 for the challenge (21 overall) but I'm doubtful I'll get two pounds this last week HAHAHA.

Happy Birthday to everyone I missed.....and congratulations to everyone on their losses! I out it in my reminder to weigh on Sunday! I'm excited to see our total :)

I'll get caught up with you all soon <3

    All my best, Tami

    hi all,

my blender that I have had for the last 20 years just decided it was done!! I have been using it so much the last month. if you have and blender and like it, can you tell me what kind it is? I am in the market!! thanks.

    stephanie

The blender I have is an Oster - 12 speed. i like it and make all my smoothies in it. I also have a bullet but use that on my boat.
Just got home from our Palm Sunday potluck dinner at church. I did so BAD! I have not eaten that much in almost two months
I have to get back on track tomorrow since I do not like this feeling of feeling so full. I know I will always have issues with food. Just have to start over in the morning.
    This is a marathon-not a sprint!

Vicky - Hang in there, we all have those moments of over eating. Next time you have a pot luck.
Go all around the table first and look at everything. Then go back and only eat what you want.
Then stop and do not go back. I have pot luck dinners all summer at our sailing club. A real challenge for me, but I have learned over the years.

Happy Monday, I weighed today and only up about 2 lbs, and I'm sure its got to do with sodium. Not as bad as I expected.
Connie-it was nice seeing my sisters, I dont see them as much as I should.
Belinda-thank you for belated birthday wishes, sorry you felt bad all weekend, glad your feeling better.
It looks like there are alot of people who are going to reach their goals for the challenge, yay.

Shirley-good advice. Hope I do not have a potluck any time soon but if I do, I will use your strategy.

I have done well today. Before MFP, I would have said to heck with it and just forgot about getting back to my healthy eating. It helps that my sister and I have a little competition going with our weight loss!

It is so funny-she and I weigh the same but her pants size is 3 sizes smaller than mine.
