Tried these and they were just okay on their own. Tasted like a blueberry muffin you forgot to add sugar to lol. I had to dip in sugar fre maple syrup and then they were awesome! Tasted like super toasted blueberry waffle and syrup lol. Probably wouldn't buy again because they weren't phonemonal and I'd much rather have a waffle and syrup lol. Alone without syrup they were like a salty muffin without sugar that went stale lol.4 -

If Canada doesn't have any of these amazing ice cream pints then there's obviously a huge need that needs to be filled and I don't know why you guys don't try to fill that gaping hole by creating your own, you could become billionaires3 -

Time to take to the streets and ask that PM of yours for some low-calorie open-market capitalism...3 -

I picked this up a couple of weeks ago and found that adding it to my morning green smoothie does a fine job.0 -
This is a completely new thing to me. Pick it up at local Whole Foods after seeing that its "creme cheese" and looking at the nutrition table. Where has this been all my life!!!!!! Now I will be making this at home. I wonder how this will work with my protein cheesecake recipe. Gotta give it a go.
The only quark I've tried is Eli and I found it disgusting. What I really miss here is fromage blanc!0 -
The cookies & cream Breyer's definitely tasted closer to real ice cream than Halo Top/Enlightened, but the vanilla flavor tastes identical to Halo Top. I had to microwave my pint for about 15-20 seconds since it was rock solid. The erythritol flavor is much more upfront, so if you prefer more subtle and authentic ice cream substitutes definitely try the cookies & cream before vanilla. Personally I love how it's sweeter and I love the flavor of erythritol, but I know it bothers a lot of people and causes digestive issues in some individuals.

Breyer's > Halo Top? @hgycta1

My apologies if these have been shown before. They're similar to the ONE bars in terms of their coating. The Blueberry Waffle Cone and Peanut Butter Cookie are amazing in terms of texture and taste!! I haven't tried the Salted Caramel yet and the Cookies n Creme and Birthday Cake are fine.

Halo Top. The vanilla Breyer's was a bit too heavy on erythritol whereas Halo Top has a more balanced flavor and sweetness. The cookies & cream Breyer's was closer to actual ice cream, but it reminded me of their lower quality "frozen dairy dessert" type ice cream and I like how Halo Top's cookies & cream was sweeter and had more of a cream aspect, whereas the Breyer's has more cookie chunks and no cream. It's a close call, and really I think I'll just buy whatever is on sale, but I'm still loyal to Halo Top since they have more flavors and have been around longer. Honestly I wasn't expecting these pints to be just as much as Halo Top's pints, and even though they're both supposed to be the same size I swear Halo Top's containers are larger (maybe it's all in my head). Maybe once Breyer's expands and releases more unique flavors I'll try them more, but they still have little ways to go in balancing out their flavors.1 -
Bought this while on vacation today at a health food store. It's delicious! And only 35 calories a cup, before you add creamer/sweetener. $20.00 for 30 servings. I might just have to order some more of this once I get home.2 -
Does GNC carry the Mybar Birthday Cake flavored bar in store? I looked online but that flavor wasn't listed on the website & was wondering if the brick & mortar store carried it?
I have to work late today & I'm debating if I want to go to Giant & get the Breyers Cookies & Cream flavor to eat on my last break.1 -

My gym has them on sale for $1.50 and when I went back to get more of the Blueberry Waffle and Peanut Butter they were all gone. They still have some of the rest of the flavors, so that's very telling.0 -
Ever since I got back from vacation I've been craving pints of ice cream each night but Shoprite hasn't had a sale yet on Halo Top or Enlightened. If anyone here is like me and needs ice cream as a motivator but also needs to stick to their budget, this tip might help you:
Keep your empty ice cream pints (the transparent Enlightened or Talenti ones are my favorite). Next, find a low calorie container of ice cream on sale and buy it (this week and last week I've been using Turkey Hill since it's on sale at Shoprite for $2.50). While I don't trust myself with a large container of ice cream, each one has 12 servings, which each pint has 4 - 1/2 cup servings, so each large container has the potential to make three pints. I've made Neapolitan Frozen Yogurt Pints for 360 calories, Chocolate Marshmallow Pints for 440 calories, and Vanilla Light Ice Cream pints for 360 calories. Turkey Hill also has other no sugar added ice creams like Dutch Chocolate which I believe are around 70 calories a serving, making the pints 280 calories if you want something even lower in calories.
Just thought I'd share it, I'm not sure how groundbreaking it is but I don't know why I've waited so long! You can do this with any brand and can also get creative mixing and matching the flavors or adding in your own toppings/swirls so it's already prepared for you! With the $2.50 sale, each pint comes out to only $0.84 each!!!!! I don't think I can fully give up Halo Top and Enlightened, but I'll definitely start doing more of these from now on!!!!

I also went to Vitamin Shoppe and snagged up Cold Brew Coffee Protein Orgain Bottles, never seen them before! Anyone have any suggestions on which to try first, or warnings if they're really unappetizing?
I tried the iced mocha since it was on sale and I had a $1 off coupon on top of that, making it ~half off. I liked it. It has to be cold, a little gross warm. It was a bit thin compared to, say, a Starbucks mocha frap in the bottle. And a little artificial-y in the sweetness for me because outside of stuff like this and protein shakes I don't consume artificial sweeteners. But it was far from well and truly gross would not consume again/poison 'yuck' face. If they were cheaper, I'd buy again if I returned to daily coffee consumption. Since they probably will never drop in price, I'll have to settle on the protein creamer if I get into coffee drinking with any regularity again.1 -

Thanks! I usually drink my bottled coffees room temperature, so that's very helpful to know and I'll be sure to throw them in the fridge before I drink them! I noticed Target has the Dunkin' Donuts Mocha Oreos... has anyone here tried them? I don't want to buy an entire package only to find out that, like the DD Mocha Pop Tarts, the coffee flavoring is way too subtle for me0 -
check emails if you entered halo top cant wait to try pistachio.5 -

I went to the Grocery Outlet & they have the Edy's Slow Churned Pumpkin Patch ice cream for $1.57 (it's expired, but still tastes fine) & for that price & for it being only 90 calories I bought two!
I had like 7 servings on Saturday (PMS time & it at least fit my maintenance calories).
I'll have to keep that pint trick you just shared in mind for the future. Right now I have Great Value Cotton Candy (I plan on making Cotton Candy creations with that, Herr's Cotton Candy puffs, & the Epic Cotton Candy spread), Breyers Birthday Cake, Edy's Cappuccino Chip Yogurt ice cream, & Turkey Hill Party Cake).
I did end up buying the Breyer's Cookies & Cream pint at Giant, but for $4.99 that will just be a one time thing unless I can find it cheaper once Wal-Mart starts to carry it. I can't justify $4.99 anymore when Wal-Mart is carrying Halo Top for $4.64. I might just buy Halo Top whenever I'm PMSing or every once in awhile since the price is pretty high for one pint & I can get ice cream cheaper at the Grocery Outlet or just buy whatever is on sale at the regular grocery stores.
I really liked the Breyer's Cookies & Cream pint & definitely loved it over Halo Top's boring cookie chunkless version. Of course when I went to spoon some of the ice cream out of the pint to shovel in my mouth I flung it on the floor.
I also really loved the Chocolate Almond Crunch Halo Top which surprised me since I didn't care for the plain Chocolate flavor.1 -
Finally dug this out of the bottom of the freezer. It made me sad. No cheesecake chunks, just mascarpone flavored custard base. The graham cracker was these weird little pellets. Some of them were soft, and some were crunchy, but they didn't taste like graham cracker. I actually had to read the ice cream description to figure out what they were. I want a buttery, salty, graham cracker swirl. Overall, the total flavor was very sweet, and not enough berry tartness to cut the sweet. (That didn't stop me from eating the whole pint last night, though. )
I have higher hopes for this one...

Tried this one and the chocolate one (on sale at Acme at $2.88). No artificial taste for me so it's a winner... no fiber but I honestly don't know if it's a good or bad thing. Obviously still 90 calories a serving. I tried them on the way from the store so I guess they were out of the freezer for 15 minutes (and it's hot out)... texture was fine (but I've never really had any texture issue with light ice cream).3 -

90 calories per serving but 3 servings per pint instead of 4. FYI.0 -

I kinda like that tho. Less calories to worry about if I go crazy and eat the whole pint at one time when I only wanted a few spoonfuls and wasn't really planning on the extra calories. I also like it doesn't have fiber so I'll be on the lookout for the Breyer's. (They also have 100 calories cups so gonna look out for those too cuz OBVIOUSLY I need portion control. )1 -
i am sick of all the salted caramel things... a new trend needs to start lol http://www.theimpulsivebuy.com/wordpress/2017/07/19/spotted-on-shelves-giant-limited-time-originals-salted-caramel-flavored-creations/2

If at least most of them were good1 -
The Lemon Creme Almonds taste like Froot Loops were crushed & rolled onto the almonds.3 -

It's not necessarily less calories than Halo Top though. It's 3 servings but those servings are 2/3 cup servings not 1/2 cup, so it still comes out to the same amount. I'm still not really sure how it's only 90 calories without fiber, seems like too many carbs, when I calculate the calories myself the number is much higher but maybe I'm missing something?
I finally tried the DD mocha oreos thanks to my boyfriend who picked up two packages XD he's obsessed and loved them, but just like the pop tarts version I hardly taste the coffee and it just tastes like chocolate to me unless I'm eating the cream by itself and really searching for the coffee. I won't get it again, not unless they have something a bit more coffee-forward. I'm sure my family would love it though, so that's a plus!0
