New quest bar flavor?? Hope its pistachio chocolate strawberry but I doubt it lol.
hmm. actually curious what it might be!
I'm hoping for:
-Cherry Cobbler
-Carrot Cake
-Chocolate Banana Bread
-Chocolate Coconut
-Lemon White Chocolate
BUT... it's probably something basic like Red Velvet
Omg yesssss to all. I could see carrot cake with Easter coming. Cherry cobbler would be amazing with the blueberry mufffin base and graham crumbles.
Chocolate chips in their banana bread bar would be good. I bet it will be red velvet or something boring though.
Messaged Quest about it... apparently the “mystery bar” just means they’re sending a random flavor they already have. No new flavors...
LOL now I feel dumb
the graphic was misleading!1 -
Anyone going to get the new Built Bar flavors? I have 1.5 boxes left, but just might get them. New flavors are:
Oatmeal Cookie with Walnuts 160cal
Cashew Caramel with Coconut 170cal
S'mores 110cal

Nope. I wish they came up with more flavour with the original 110-130cal / bar.
Covered in the milk chocolate instead of the dark.
I'm not either. Only the smores flavor interests me but not enough to buy yet another full box.
I wish they'd offer their limited flavors in a mixed limited flavor sample box of only 6 bars like they kinda did with the dark cherry.

It's still 18 bars per box, but you can get 6 of each of the limited flavor in a sample box.3 -

LOL yeah. That's why I would like a 6 bar limited edition choice. Like maybe 2 of each new flavor. (Sorry, I probably didn't make that part clear.) Keep the limited editions around a longer time so people can sample without being buried in built bars (because, let's face it, built bar has surpassed nabisco in the new oreo flavor race) and give them enough time to order full boxes or choose them in the 18 box order.

I'm right there with you about the slow creep in calories with each new flavor. For 160 cal/18 g protein, I'll have a much-cheaper Quest bar. Fifteen grams/protein for 110 calories? Can't beat those macros...
I was just on the website--s'mores are sold out.3 -
I agree with everyone about the Built bars. I stopped buying them unless it was a new release because every bar started to taste the same to me. Overall, even the higher calorie, textured bars aren't impressive enough to repurchase.
Lately I've been buying a box, trying one bar, then giving the rest to friends or family that enjoy them because I'm not impressed. I bought the limited edition mixed box because I had a $10 coupon to redeem from my points but after this I may stop buying Built Bars completely.3 -

Lastly I finally tried the cinnamon churros. 2/10. They were a less sweet version of cinnamon toast crunch. Way less cinnamon sugar which I didn't like. They were really boring. I liked them better without milk. They really had a chewy center and more "doughy" taste to them which I didn't like. I wouldn't buy again and told my boyfriend he can have the rest of the box, lol. Not worth trying.
I had the same initial reaction to the cinnamon churros. I always eat cereals without any liquid.
But never one to waste junk food, I packed them up in small portions and saved them in a plastic container. Then months later, I tried them again and really liked them! They seem to have plenty of cinnamon to me now. And the texture is fine now.
Is it possible that they need to be aged?!! That would change the texture. Not sure how it managed to make them taste more cinnamon-y.
Hope this doesn't mean my taste buds are dying.

Dunkin Donuts is coming out with a snack bag of 8 half slices of bacon. Just came across a CNN article on it. Not much of a doughnut or bacon fan but thought I'd pass it along!2

I agree. The draw for me is the 110 calories, 15 grams protein. If the calories keep going up, I’ll find something else. They don’t all taste the same to me, similar of course, but keeping the calorie count low is what kept me buying.3 -

The protein count goes up with the calorie count so that helps a little but, yeah, the 110 calories is a major reason I like them.1 -
Anyone actually want the new KFC "sandwich"? I saw the commercial when working out, it's two glazed doughnuts with a crispy chicken tender in between and advertised as being sweet and spicy. Looked pretty disgusting!2

I don't have a gallbladder and don't digest fried food well, this thing would kill my stomach! Before I figured out why I was feeling so bad after fast food I'd think of eating the doughnuts and chicken separately. Together would be something else! Happy birthday! If you try it let us know what you think!1 -
Dr Pepper is my favorite pop so I’d like to try this.6 -
I found a few of Talenti's new flavors for this year: Coffee cookie crumble gelato layers, Coconut chocolate cookie dairy-free sorbetto layers, and Lemon berry pie gelato layers.
My least favorite was the coffee cookie crumble flavor. This has a layer of cold brew gelato, chocolate flakes, chocolate coffee sauce, vanilla bean gelato, and amaretti cookie pieces. The mix-ins tasted fine, but I just wasn't much of a fan of the cold brew gelato. In my opinion, Talenti's coffee gelato tends to be on the bitter side with a slight aftertaste, and this was the case here too.
I liked both the lemon berry pie and the coconut chocolate cookie flavor. I thought I'd like the lemon berry pie flavor the best, but I surprisingly liked the coconut one better. The lemon berry pie flavor consisted of two layers of lemon gelato, Graham cookies, blueberry sauce, and pie crust pieces. This was a good, solid flavor and the mix-ins worked well with the lemon gelato.
The coconut chocolate cookie flavor consisted of two layers of dairy free coconut sorbetto, oat crisps, hot fudge, and chocolate cookie pieces. I really wasn't expecting to like this flavor as much as I did, although I'm not surprised, since Talenti does non-dairy flavors really well. This basically tasted exactly like coconut milk but in a frozen form. I enjoyed the mix-ins too, but I almost thought they were too much of a distraction and I wished that the pint was only the coconut sorbetto itself without the mix-ins. I might also be a bit tired of the layers line at this point.

If anyone loves Nutella you NEED to run out and buy Yasso's new Chocolate Hazelnut ice cream bar. 120 calories and really satisfied that nutella craving for me. Delicious. I want another one but I'll hold back lol.7

I really liked the white chocolate chip ones dipped in milk. They reminded me of my favorite childhood cookies. (Moms white chococolate chip) they had a nice buttery flavor to them and real white chocolate.
The others weren’t anything great. The crispy chocolate chip were good but nothing to write home about. And at 70 calories per cookie they compare to chips ahoy which I would actually prefer. The vegan coconut ones were bland and not good.
The cinnamon raisin said soft and chewy so I was expecting a soft and chewy cookie but they were the texture of the cheap oatmeal raisin store brand cookies you always see. That’s not what I call a soft and chewy cookie.
Picture of all for size comparison. Each has 70 calories. I wouldn’t buy these.
Also tried no whey vegan chocolate. 220 calories for a pack and 33!g sugar. They were just okay. I wouldn’t buy again. I don’t like plain m&ms either though so maybe that’s why I didn’t really like them. They needed nuts inside or pretzel hunks or peanut butter filling lol.

I will check it out! I buy at least 12 protein bars/snacks a week from my local Vitamin Shoppe for my breakfasts and afternoon coffees. I usually go for whatever is on sale
I really LOVE the new Outright bars, especially the banana walnut peanut butter flavor (290 cal, 17g protein). However, they’ve been sold out the last 2 weeks.3 -
I’d eat the whole bag omg . Or mix with pistachio pudding.
The white creme ones look good. I prefer more pb:chocolate ratio but more whitechocolate:pb ratio for the white creme lol.

I have been on a search for the perfect dark chocolate peanut butter cup for a long time. There is either too much chocolate in the chocolate to peanut butter ratio, the peanut butter is too powdery tasting, or the chocolate is overly sweet. I believe I finally found "the one" today. This one is amazing. I could eat a pack of these a day:
