I shouldn't be left alone in the office. I found the Hobnobs. :disappointed:

Confession: After having to endure staring at this horror show my oldest two wrought on the basement gym for 15k tonight I have considered selling them to zoos. Seperate, together, idk lol. The baby's (when am I no longer supposed to call her the baby btw?) shots are in the morning so remember me as I was ;)

I trim my hair and rock the undercut. I think yall who do the short hair are so freaking brave mainly because my hair is my baby :D
Also! My waist is getting smaller so yall are getting a picture cause I'm stoked with the progress

Vix you look friggin amazing. I'm actually very jealous of how far you have come! <3

They would be amazing for your smores. They are addictive. Thankfully there were only 6 left in the packet, but the packet is now empty in the bin soooo... no more Hobnobs. :#

Kristen, I vote to grow it out. I agree that the middle stage sucks and takes forever though.

Lois. love the short hair on you! No clue what a hobnob is, but yum!

Tami, that cut is great on you! Keep it forever!

Looking good, Vix! Keep up the awesome work!

So, in a different thread, I got the following comment on my progress pic (the comment at the bottom of the photos).

    oufwr1u1f0bi.jpg

That comment really bothers me. So, I responded thusly.

Did I get my point across, and without being to *kitten*y?

PREACHHHH! I've gotten the offhand comment of how lucky I am that I look the way I do.... I workout 4 times a week, two plus hour sessions each of those times and this isn't including the hiking and walking I do regularly or the fact that this has been a progress of 6 years and consistently cutting calories.
Also - I think it's not a mean way to say it at all.

I think most women are so deeply ingrained in the societal point of view, those who look good don't work for it etc. It's a fascinating but strange thing to me, although I can't judge on that one; that's where I started.

No being jealous! Each of us are working to be where we want to be, just different parts of the "journey".

    Also thanks guys <3

Both of you are a testament to what hard work and dedication can achieve. I am just jealous that I haven't gotten my butt in gear to achieve what I want.

Thanks for the crazy mama love all- I think given that a few of you have much older kids that there are many mom wonders in our midst (keeping them alive alone is gold medal territory people lol). Mia's shots went great, she watched, didn't flinch or cry- was mostly mad the nurse wouldn't let her have the needle afterward :/ . Was kind of upset her weight got brought up but I also knew it was coming. More things to manage though, gah -_-

@Lois_1989 and @quiksylver296 you guys both have wicked style, why grow it out when you look awesome with low maintenance hair! Simplifying life is everything some days. Like @MissKalhan I have long hair when it's not up (aka. always) but I also look terrible with short hair.

Victoria you look amazing btw, you've done great work! Quick I don't think you were kittenish re: that statement, you did have to work for it and devaluing your work like that should be corrected. Kind of a weird comparison but in photography a lot of clients like to make to make some version of this weird statement, "Your camera takes great pictures.". Well technically it does but it's captures will only be successful if the person behind the lens has the skills to compose the image and can navigate settings correctly. Your body comp is the same idea, you may have a beautiful natural frame but the muscle and all the killer shaping you have aren't the product of that, they're at best just enhanced by it. You are the work you've put in and I'd say that makes a lot of you ladies pretty spectacular!

I wear a trash bag under my clothing when I exercise and also for about half of my day.

Interesting! And what does it do?

I keep telling myself I will start taking the stairs up at least 10 floors once, but I don't. :'(

My hair is a total mess. I usually grow it very long then have a big chop every few years to donate it to a kid's wigs charity. It went super thick when I was last pregnant, then a LOT fell out after Andrew's birth. Now it's growing back but has left me with one original hair length beyond my elbows, and one new one about 3 inches. The 3 inch regrowth is almost curly whereas the rest of my hair is straight. No matter what I do it's a mess.

I'm due a big chop soon but I probably won't go much shorter than shoulder length because I'm a wuss. Of course there's no point trying too hard for an actual style since baby no2 will mess that up when I have my post birth malt.

In case you get this far, @SashaQ1381, the answer is nothing. It does absolutely nothing for weight loss, just like every other gimmick out there. For fun, let's see how many I can list:

    1. Apple cider vinegar
    2. Appetite suppressant pills
    3. Weight loss shakes
    4. Body wraps
    5. Waist trainers
    6. Detox teas
    7. Laxatives
    8. Shake weights
    9. Thigh masters
    10. ...

Feel free to chime in, everyone.

Don't forget the raspberry ketones, it's not like ketosis is free or anything ;) . Basically the whole Dr. Oz show haha. If it's a product that has been hawked there it's safe to assume its garbage imo because he seems to pimp his MD out for scrilla

I have to say I have this picture of a fuzzy curly halo around your head then long straight hair to our elbows...kind of like a mullet. If you cut it shoulder length it will probably just look layered now.

Some of you already know from Facebook, but my little man lost his first tooth yesterday! It was a big deal here! He's super excited to go back to school on Monday (this week is vacation) and show it off! There are a few other kids that have loose ones..he's hoping nobody else lost their's and he can be the first in the class :D

This was too cute! You don't take the tooth when you drop off the $? We used to put the teeth under the pillow and the fairy exchange was $ for teeth. So we never still had our teeth to display. Or do you mean just show off the gap?

Ugh, you guys. Talk me down. LOL I'm trying to grow out my pixie/bob and it's at the awkward stage where it looks like crap. This past weekend even my Dad was like, "What's going on with your hair?". Do I gut it out and keep going or just say eff it and cut it again? #firstworldproblems

Ooooooooh I'm half at that stage as well. I keep cutting it short because it's easier for workouts but part of me thinks I should grow it out. How long is the front? and how far over is your parting? I ask because the last time I had it cut I was talking to the hairdresser about growing it out, and she said swap your parting to the other side and the length at the front becomes symmetrical, so its not as bad when you grow it out. But my parting is really far over, and the length is down to the jawline.

    mh4lst3wyvs2.jpg

Sorry about my...everything. I don't dress up for the cretins at work.

But yeah, so the length is long enough to tie back, but because my hair is so thick, my scalp can breathe when I'm hot because it is short everywhere else.

Well, I think you guys look great with short hair, I would look terrible as I have this weird face shape, round with a narrow forehead. But if you want to grow it out, you could always do a Britney and get a weave!

Oh yeah, sorry if that was unclear. He just wants to show off the gap where the tooth once was.

Tami, I agree that your answer wasn't rude at all. You've definitely worked hard to get where you are and that should be recognized! Your transformation is inspiring.

Jessica, yay for your daughter being brave about her shots! How old is she? Did she give a reason wanting to keep the needle? That's so odd/funny.
