I bought my husband a Man Crate for Valentine's Day. I had them gift wrap it in a duct tape cocoon. He's going to love and hate it. :D

We don't do Valentine's Day. Never have, and I don't suppose we ever will.

We don't either. I suppose I am a party property, but Saint Valentine was martyred for pity's sake. Why am I supposed to get gifts for that?

We do however have two Valentines cards on the mantelpiece. One is from the one year old, handmade no less (it's a work of art and not at all a bit CSI), and one is from the dog's trust dog I sponsor who I think is probably an imaginary dog but it's a good charity so I'll keep sponsoring him. 2 cards is the best we've ever managed so we're pretending that's us sorted.

I knew I loved you guys for a reason! I've never bought into the valentines hype / commercialism and am always considered a grinch about it. A totally manufactured event by card makers in the slump between Christmas and easter

This must be why they love you so much! Haha ;) . Serious note, I've always admired ethical/moralist vegans- it takes a loving person to make their life comparatively more complicated to protect the dignity of others.

I somehow razor-burned my armpit (only one of them, mind you). I put deodorant on after yoga, and it burns like a freaking kitten. :s

I think I should get to go home.

I had a massive rant today about razor companies are missing a decent sized untapped market (chicks who lift etc) because shaving SUCKS! I always miss stupid little hairs >=/

It was a blast! Goats are hilarious, especially when they're babies. Talk about trouble makers, the little white one on my back kept trying to eat my yoga mat lol.
As for the hooves, they didn't hurt. I think the baby was 15-25 lbs.

Geeez Tesco went all out this year! As soon as you walked in the door there was a missive stand of flowers, behind that a massive stand of cards and then everywhere was just teddies, chocolates and pointless tat. I couldn't even buy sane food in the meal deal, it was all dyed pink with love hearts on. I opted for tacos instead. I did buy some pink fondant fancies though because they were half price and they are fondant fancies.

Fondant fancies... Yum. The kettle corn lady had a fundraiser for our hospital volunteers and I bought a bag of cinnamon and a bag of caramel for my family. There are a lot worse snacks and my kids love kettle corn.

GUYS!!! I am less than two weeks from my first powerlifting competition. I am so nervous! It's constantly the only thing on my mind. I work with my coach Friday and Monday, then taper off until Saturday (THE day). It's SO CLOSE!!! :o:#

You got this! Best wishes with the competition.

There is a magical cook time between delicious oatmeal and disgusting, slimy, weird textured oatmeal. I crossed that line this morning. :s

My luck with food the last couple day has been bad. Dropped my lunch on the floor at work yesterday...
