How does one go about merging with a local competitor without sharing information that you don't want them to have if the whole thing falls apart? We have 24 days to get this done and I am feeling the stress.
(I am minor minor minor in this scheme so how are my bosses feeling?)

There are a lot of laws on that kind of disclosure. The lawyers at your company should be handling all that. What kind of info are they looking for?

Once again, thank you all! You guys are too awesome. I love this thread.
I did tell her. I didn’t go into detail and minimized it as much as I could, but she was really good about it. Understanding and didn’t overreact at all. I knew I could trust her.
She says I can either get in touch with my therapist from back home, and she’ll find me an app so we can call without racking up international charges, or if that doesn’t work out she can find me someone to see here.
You were all right, it felt good to tell her. Terrifying, but good, lol.
In other news this is my first day b/p free in who *kitten* knows how long. A long time, anyway. I still feel guilty for eating as much as I did, but it is PROGRESSS.

That is great news! Maybe telling her relieved your stress and you were able to curb your desire to b/p. There are lots of apps out there to talk to your therapist... including Whatsapp.

I am taking votes on pies for American Thanksgiving. Choices are pumpkin, apple and chocolate. Should I make all three or only two? If you say only two, should I make apple or chocolate because my three sons will riot if there is no pumpkin pie.

(there you are, Soul, I have now opened the thread for important discussion of things not ED related.)

I vote apple. I LOVE apple pie. With custard. :yum:

I LOVE pumpkin pie. I hope mom makes me a vegan one this year.

Mine is not vegan, but my boys will do it in before Thanksgiving is over. In reality, I am making whatever other pie or pies to have leftovers.

Also I am v sorry for monopolizing this thread to rant about my Issues. I am interested in all of your lives too and you should post so I don’t feel bad ;)

No you don't monopolize the thread. We are here to help everyone who asks for it. We are pretty open about giving our honest opinion on a situation as well.

The lawyers are handling it, except for the clinical teams. We have to be on the same page for patient care day one. And to be honest, that part is fairly standard anyway because of the hospital accreditation process.

For my job in finance, the lawyers send questions, we answer the lawyers, our lawyers tell their lawyers what's legal to tell them and then we do it all over again. We desperately need to be on the same payroll page day one and be ready to file final tax returns for the two old entities.

ETA : and some poor souls out there are negotiating contracts for the new entity with insurance companies. That means that the reps from our side and theirs can extrapolate what the other side has in their contracts now if they want to.

In other news, I am still in morning over the Italia soccer team.....first time in 60 years we did not qualify for World Cup. So sadly, the countdown begins to 2022 :unamused:

Don't feel bad, I'm glad folk could help. I don't comment all that much just because I have no experience of ed.

I feel like I'm recovering better than I did from my first c-section. I guess not having three days of labour and no sleep wasn't ideal prep the first time. This time was much calmer and easier. I was only in hospital for one night instead of 5! Still finding it frustrating though. For example, our shower is over the bath, and I can't step in and out unaided. Not being able to wash whenever you want is horrible. Need my husband to lift my leg up. It's quite humbling but glad we have each other. And I'll be happy when I can lift Pandy again but that will realistically be a few weeks.

Situations like this make you so happy for your partner, and wonder how someone does it without.

Ha ha I'm sorry but the fact Sweden beat Italy made my day. Maybe they should have taken the Swedes a bit more seriously? Or not taken it as a given that they will get in. They were so confident, they didn't even play their best players. Lessons will be learnt from this experience.

My host mom was in my room today and I’m so freaked out that she might have found out about my ED because I had some evidence chilling in my suitcase. In 7 years I’ve never been caught. Of course it would be now. She’s so nice and she deserves a good kind grateful student who enriches their lives and not a sullen greedy hedonistic bulimic piece of *kitten* lmao time to die

I imagine that having one day instead of three days of labor is much, much, much better.
Could you get a shower chair? That way you could sit down and move your legs over then stand up.
I'm sure your husband is glad to help you and it does add to the chivalry.

I am also glad to hear this. I have read of your struggles over one day and was waiting till I finished reading to comment. I'm glad she did not overreact and you have someone close that you can trust and can help you get what you need.

I doubt she was snooping around in your stuff. I'm not sure what the bolded is, but maybe it is time to get rid of it?

Try not to beat yourself up too much about what is happening to you. No-one is a piece of *kitten*, well... maybe Trump. But certainly not you!

Yeah, I’m just waiting for a chance to sneak it out of the house. :P I’m sure she wasn’t looking through my stuff, she’s a good person.
And trump is definitely a piece of SOMETHING...
every time a Russian says “ah, you’re from America? Like Trump!” I want to say “don’t involve me with him! I had nothing to do with that spray-tanned hot air balloon in a toupee...”
Did y’all know that witches all across America get together once a month to cast binding spells on him and his administration?
