Is anybody still using this thread??
I see the name, and feel it REALLY applies to my views. One day at a time, no apathy or procrastination.3 -
Ive been missing getting on here - I've had a ton of stuff on my plate lately. But today is the first day again, to take care of myself. So many have told me that you cannot change people, you can only change your attitude towards them. Dealing with a daughter with severe mental illness has been the most challenging thing I have ever had to do. I feel so helpless. But -- I cannot change that, only accept it, and take care of myself.
So even though I am late today in posting, this rest of today, I will take better care of myself. that is something I CAN control.
And @dovedavis - yes, many are still posting on here. I hope you will join us each day!3 -

Good to see you back. So sorry you're dealing with such a challenging situation. I hope you have some help and supportive people in your life. Sometimes we have to take care of ourselves first, so that we can take care of others. Sending good thoughts your way.0 -
