I love applying this concept to changing my life for a healthier lifestyle! I can do anything for one day! And doing this one day at a time has now turned into 2 weeks consecutively. For some reason, I can do this if I don't think it is forever. That is how I got sober and now I have 28 years clean. Hopefully, I will turn around one day and realize that I have been living healthy for a very long time! Thanks for this thread!

Yesterday was a great success and felt so proud crawling into bed :)

    So just for a day

Going to stick to my calorie budget. I am very go go go so i planned my food out in advance with extra snacks just in case i wind up hungry as i tend to overeat when I'm hungry. ..im working a very physical day today.

I will stay under my calorie goal for the fifth day in a row and not overindulge in any single food.
I will work out for 90 minutes
I will be patient in all aspects of my life
I will make today a productive day at work but will wind it down around 3:00
I am expressing gratitude for the advice off of one of the Podcasts I follow: "You are all you need." Very applicable to me in that for years I chased the "why" of my diet and exercise shortfalls. For me, the "why" didn't matter. What did is my mindset moving forward.

Good day. Well under my calorie goal, made good choices.
Worked out for 45 minutes, coming down with a cold. Turned into a slug in the evening.
    Great day of work
Got a little grouchy as the day wore on..

    For today:

I will stay within my calorie goal and not overindulge.
I will express my wellness mantra.
I will go for a walk this afternoon if I'm feeling better.
    I will have more patience
I am expressing gratitude for a good month in the stock market. 116 months until retirement

    And, you guessed it:

    JFT, 10/30

:) 1. Stay within calorie goal
:) 2. Insanity Max 30 workout - last day of the program! <3
    :) 3. Walk the dogs

So, yesterday was the end of my workout program. I'm so happy that I made it all the way through! Lost 5.7 pounds which is a bit ahead of my 0.5/week goal.

    JFT, 10/31

    1. Stay within maintenance calories. Have a dinner tonight with friends so am upping my calories a bit today to accommodate.
    2. Get in a good workout - at least 300 calories burned - for some added cushion.
    3. Walk the dogs.

Honestly, I have other things I do besides staying within my calorie goal, working out, and walking the dogs! It's just those are my daily goals. Yeah, let's go with that. LOL. This thread is making me self-conscious.

It's always so hard to keep within my carb limits when we throw a party. Tonight - I get 10 gold stars!!!!

Slug day, sat on the couch wallowing in my cold.
Expressed my wellness mantra but didn't work out.
Believe my lovely bride would say I didn't exhibit much patience.
Over my calorie goal for the day but not by much.

    For today:

Will take it easy but have to get out of the house at some point.
I will express my wellness mantra.
I will stay within range of my calorie goal and beat the goal on average for the week.
I will have patience for my lovely bride who is only trying to help me when I'm sick.
I am expressing gratitude for the wonder of Halloween experienced by little kids. My wife handed out the candy and loved seeing the costumes and pure joy from the little ones.
