You must take a picture in boxers and a tie holding up your favorite ice cream.

i tried the talent coffee chocolate chip and was not a big fan ….

have not tried the NOLA one ….but if you get anything from NOLA you want to get beignets from cafe dumonde

I wasn't a fan of the Steve's. The donuts were stale and tasteless to me, but the coffee ice cream part was good.

For those of you shopping at Target and looking at Talenti, you really need to include the Hazelnut in your purchase. It is only available at Target so you won't find it elsewhere. And it is really, really good -- a much more nutty flavor than expected, still sweet but a lot more nutty and not really like nutella or various hazelnut mixes with other sweet things. Yum!

I still haven't been able to restock with a bunch of pints (too busy this weekend), but I have one Gelato FIasco left and to tide me over until I can get to certain markets I picked up a Tillamook Marionberry Pie (which I have had before). Not sure if it's just west coast availability, but Tillamook has become my go to for half gallon "supermarket" ice cream (even though they sell it in 1.75 quart containers, a bit less than a half gallon). Haven't yet found a Tillamook I was disappointed in.

Edit to add: Pic of the Marionberry Pie from a month or two ago.

My favorite bread pudding is from this little dessert cafe that has brioche french toast with caramel bourbon sauce and dried cherries. It's freaking amazing. For my baby shower one of my employees ordered a whole pan of it. I gave her a big raise that year...

Are you judging my butter pecan? I hadn't tried it, and it's not my favorite. If you're taking issue with the other two, we may have to fight about it.

    LOL …

No I like the other two ….mediterranean mint is the BOMB…

I have tired the southern butter pecan and was not a fan ….it was just too sweet for me…

This picture is enough to finally make me open my pint of this. Apparently I have like four untouched Talenti jars (and one is a quart...oops).

I'm just not a huge Steve's fan. The base is too hard for me. I did really like the Southern Banana Pudding though.

For a week or two I was doing things other than ice cream/gelato for dessert, so now I have to catch up on them (especially if I'm going to Target tomorrow as I need more Banana Chocolate Swirl).

How does that compare to Marianne's (also Santa Cruz)? We have a local shop (Cowabunga) that sells Marianne's ice creams, which I enjoy, but I don't think I've had Mission Hill Creamery before (I'm north of you on the Peninsula).
