Sorry I didn't meant to confuse anyone
Im just trying to simplified things up so everyone that is currently working or just started to work on their journey won't over think stuff.
1.Only calories in and calories out determine weight change, nothing else.
2.Macro ratios (P/C/F) determine if the weight change is due to fat or muscle.
Yes, and training plays no role in determining body composition.0 -

So if I just lay in bed all day, only getting up to get food and do the essentials, if I eat the right macros, I won;t lose any muscle?

I'm just talking from the nutritional point of course you must eat -train-sleep

I'm pretty sure if I only eat 600 cals/day of just lean protein, I'm still going to lose muscle (if I'm understanding your message correctly).0

What kind of macros do I eat to lose fat?
You will need find your own macros.. Play with it for some time and see what works for you. Maybe what work for me it won't work for you ..0 -

I've little knowledge of what determines what, I just do what I can do. BUT - I'm confused now. and who posted that darn spider what the heck does a spider have to do with losing weight. Now I gotta go do deep breathing exercises to calm my aracniphobia!! (however its spelled)

I think what you mean is the macros determine what kind of fuel for our bodies that food will end up being.0
