Congrats on losing the weight. I have to admit looking at all those scrumptious meals I think mercy wow. You can eat anything you want but you have to maintain accountability and keep within your daily goal. 150 is sixteen pounds shy of my goal of what I want to lose had a gain this week but am not going to let it deter me from moving forward and taking it back off I am disappointed in myself but that I am finding out is wasted energy

    You were morbidly obese.
    You still are.

You were eating like crap before.
You are eating like crap now.

Let me get this straight - making a post about processed, fried and unhealthy food is in fact helpful to the countless number of people on this site trying to lose weight?

Oh I get it - jeez am so dumb at times, nah it's actually eating less of the same crap ( moderation please ) the way to go.
    Yep gotcha :-)

At the weight you started - you will lose weight even if you cut down ONE single fried onion from the crap you are eating - get this you are FAT.

Isn't this suppose to be some kind of lifestyle change? Where's the change? Give it a year, give it two years, give it five years, you will be back to where you started.

Like many others, we will see a post from you too -"Back Again".

If I am mean, so be it.

Now let all those superfit, super toned people, who lift super heavy and eat pizza and ice cream every thing day have a hissy fit at me. I couldn't care less. You know why? Look below - do you see a ticker? None. Never had a weight problem. Never will. And I speak in absolutes.

Do you see a ticker below majority of the people who will be having a hissing fit at me? Plenty.

I wish you luck. I wish you good health. Most of all, wishful thinking - people stop this silly business as there are some people right here right now who are truly struggling with their eating habits and hoping to make changes.

    Respectfully,
    N

I can't imagine that someone this chicken***t of having a real profile (or using their real profile instead of their dummy one) in order to post hateful things has had any success to speak of. How about you come out from behind the curtain instead of quivering in terror behind a fake profile and show us all how it's done?

Pineapple, white bread and mayo sammiches? Not sure about this one. Everything else looks awesome.

You've done great Hoss. Keep it up.

its a southern classic and very delish. try it, i think you'll like. i do. sometimes we add a little shredded chedder over the pineapple. Also for our wedding showers or whatever we mix shredded pineapple with soft cream chees and spread that on the bread and to really show off we will add some chopped pecans.

Born and raised and presently reside not far from Hoss, and I've never tried this.

However, it reminds me of the canned pears with the cream cheese and cheddar filling and the cherry on top.

You know what I'm talking about? What are those called?

i in North Alabama. While growing up we didnt have alot of " desserts" on the table, but most days momma would split pears or use can pears and top them with mayo and cheddar with a cherry on top and she just called ( Pear Salad ) lol..... I still eat this regularly but without the cherry.

East Texas raised here, and my mom made the exact same 'pear salad' when I was growing up. She must have found it in a Better Homes and Gardens magazine. lol

I don't mean to be rude, but seeing all these types of foods at once made my stomach hurt.
Maybe it's just a matter of perception - seeing all the pics in only one sequence - but still. Too much fried stuff (yikes!) to my french-trained taste; no fresh, raw veggies (yeah onions are veggies... fried in this case)! (Ah, Americans! )
Or maybe you just meant to point out that one doesn't need to restrict as long as there's a deficit?

Anyway, congrats for your great success so far!

We Americans are lucky that way, being as how we aren't stuck eating the same high-brow snobby foods prepared by arrogant people who don't see past their own cultures all the time.

Don't know if this sentence is destined to me directly, but my food is nothing snobby, i'm nothing arrogant (didn't you see that smiley after my "Ah, Americans"? chill out.) and don't you worry about my culture, it's much more complicated than you think, since i'm not actually french, and I've travelled to many places where I could enjoy other food cultures, including the USA, where I lived 6 months. I just said I didn't have the same food preference as the poster.

I love frog legs with garlic and parsley. If an American told me that it's really not his type of food I wouldn't insult him and say he's being stupid for not understanding the traditions. So why would I let YOU do that about me.

    Are we all set?
(If not, re-read my first reply and this one :drinker: )

That is true! And if this is how they posted with their real profile, it's no wonder they were banned.

ETA: Plus, I'm sure we can post all the responses we want and they will never respond. That is how the cowards usually do it.

Have you looked at his food diary? He's not eating that stuff at every meal. His point of the post is that you don't need to cut out certain foods in order to lose weight. You can still eat cake, ice cream, fried chicken, pork shoulder, steak, candy etc. but in (wait for it) MODERATION.

Why do you have to be so negative and p*ss on someone's achievement?

If you've "never had a weight problem and never will" then why are you here if not to just crap on other people's achievement and claim superiority over them?

You never had a weight problem? The only other post you have made on these forums was you talking about your "last ten pounds" and how you spent AGES messing around with fad diets and listening to infomercials...

Regardless though completely rude post that completely missed the point the OP was trying to make. If you think you were being helpful to anyone, or if you thought your beliefs are so deep, nuanced and "real" they just had to be shared - you were wrong.

I don't mean to be rude, but

Oh yeah, ONLY sweetness follows this kind of phrasing. Only. Sweetness.

And there it is. (Ah, stereotypical French-trained condescension! )

You really cant' take the people that don't think like you, do you??? I started "I don't mean to be rude" typically because of people such as you and other ones that are so cocky that they won't accept that someone (especially a non-american) doesn't think like them.
Plus, there was nothing condescendent. As you said YOUR opinion is stereotypical. You have no idea what I have eaten in my life!! And that may include weird things that you've never eaten. So please, chill out since YOU are the one getting on your high horses

And you are, right, congratulating the initial poster for his success is sooooooo NOT.SWEET.
    Maybe you should read again.

You never have a weight problem, yet you are here on a calorie counting forum simply to denigrate others who do, even when they make an astounding progress in the sustainable way. You are beyond mean, you have a psychological problem. Get out of here, seriously.
